Dee Ford really "Leodis McKelvin-ed" that game. Poor guy.

Since 2003, every AFC Super Bowl representative (except one - 2012 Ravens) has had either Tom Brady, Peyton Manning or Ben Roethlisberger as their QB.
And the NFL says there's parity?
-
There's not really any WR I like at pick #9. Maybe Metcalf, but I think they could trade down 4-5 spots and still get him.
This is a pretty deep draft for receivers and I think they could get a couple of guys in rounds 2-5 that can make an immediate impact.
On a side note, what happened to AJ Brown's stock? I remember him being rated ahead of Metcalf before the year, now he's being projected as a second or third round prospect.

Yes because Reggie Ragland and Sammy Watkins are the main reasons the Chiefs are so successful.
I love Anthony Lynn, but he also had Rivers when he came in.

There ya go Chargers!

Big answer for Dallas.

I hope the Rams win by 30.

What worries me is that the Islanders and Canadiens have good coaches in Trotz and Julien.
Phil...I wouldn't characterize him as a "good" coach.

Uh-oh, please be okay Patrick.

There is something so dynamic about a truly elite TE. The Bills have NEVER had a really good TE...Ever. Watching Kelce is just something we would never know as Bills fans. I hope we take the best TE in college football at 9 and give Josh that extra dimension that we never have.
Here's hoping they find one in the draft. That would be awesome for Allen's development.

This is good. As much as I want to root for Frank’s Colts, I cant bear the idea of the Pat*s having a cakewalk to the Conference Championship.
I'm coming around to this thinking as well after 8.5 minutes.

KC wants to end that home playoff victory draught early.

That was fast. Mahomes is throwing bullets.

Gotta root for Frank Reich.

I want them to get at least one O-lineman, one decent WR and a bit of defensive depth in Free Agency, though I don't think they should or will spend to the cap this offseason.
Get rid of some of the dead weight (Charles Clay specifically).
In the draft, again get an O-lineman, WR and a RB in the mid rounds (I like Montgomery from Iowa State - kid's like a bowling ball). Fill out the rest of the draft with depth players/contributors on both sides of the ball.

I can't remember the last time I was this confident in the GM/Coach combo. Wade/Butler probably.

Colts
Rams
Saints
Chargers
No Pats or Cowboys make the Conf. Championships & Super Bowl more enjoyable.

Minus Harbaugh, they all had HOF qbs.
Russell Wilson is a HOF QB?
But so did McCarthy, Kubiak and Payton.
The point of the article was "it's dumb to hire defensive coaches because they'll have to re-hire OCs if said OCs are any good enough to get hired" which is a flawed argument.
It's all about the QB you draft whether you have success in this league. You just need a good coach who can hire good assistants, motivate his players and strategize better than the other team week to week. Doesn't matter the offensive or defensive background.

I can think of several NFC teams I dislike more than the Packers.
Cowboys
Eagles (their fans are abhorrent)
Redskins
Seahawks
The rest I just can't really dislike because they don't play them that often.
And the Packers are awesome for being a small town, community owned team. Their fans are easily the best in the league IMO.

Five of the last ten Super Bowl Champions were defensive coaches:
- Belichick x2
- Carroll
- Harbaugh
- Tomlin
And some of these coaches lost in Super Bowls too. Not to mention Dan Quinn and Ron Rivera coached in one each.
You can still win Super Bowls focusing on defense. Look at the Seahawks and Broncos.

Chargers should be able to move the ball more than they did against the Ravens.
Pats' Defense isn't nearly as daunting. Just can't get too conservative against them.
Chargers 27
Patriots 24
I hope...

The loss in Miami because that was the game where Allen showed me the most. One Charles Clay catch away from around a 90 yard game winning drive. Plus, it was fun watching Allen make Kiko look like a fool all game long.
This. I thought this was Allen's coming out game as a passer. He single handedly carried the offense that game and should have come away with the victory.
Between that game and the Jets loss, where we outgained them by 200 yards but Special Teams cost them dearly, they could have easily been 8-8.
Hopefully this and the season finale are signs that Allen will own the Fish for the next 15 years.

Bills avoid London in 2019

? Excellent.
Only way I would have liked a London trip would be if it were against the Patriots with them as the home team, taking away a road game @ Foxboro.
But that would never happen.
