I'm cool if Zay were making mental mistakes--Route running errors etc. But dropping balls is not really an excuse for a rookie. Rookie or vet-- got to catch the ball.
It is a different Ball from College to Pro....

Looks to me like he is adjusting his style of play to that of the WR he is covering and its taking him about a half to figure it out.

The hands to the face call on Adolphus Washington was a bad call.
You don't know what he said in that exchange though. The ref does. The flag wasn't thrown until he looked back, not when he pulled his hand back.
I'm just glad the OTHER team got a BIG penelty for that. I will ALWAYS remember Hughes getting flagged for slapping his OWN teammate on the head, don't care what he got flagged for just happy it was not the Bills.

Was thinking the samething, hopefully its just rookie mistakes and he gets that taken care of. Maybe he is not used to catching a ball thrown at these speeds.He needs to catch the first td that bounced off his hands. Last week I stuck up for the kid but doing that on a regular basis will end up in a lot of picks...
I still have high hopes for the kid tho.

We didn't "have" to go to rookie for a crucial catch. He was wide open.
To say you know Sammy would have been that open or that he'd catch that ball is myopic at best.
When you have Taylor as your qb it doesn't matter who's out there.
Run, run, throw. You're severely handicapping any receivers when the D knows you have to throw on third down.
Either Taylor is that bad and they don't trust him or we have a terrible offensive scheme. Either one sucks and I'm so bummed this is what we have to look forward to all year.
I thought we were done with this style of play, I thought we were "unleashing" Taylor.
All smoke and mirrors. Can't even get excited about the Broncos game now.

Sammy had 2 catches for 30 yards and has yet to score a TD or even sniff 100 total receiving yards. Just wanted to put that out there. Not a Sammy hater but do you really think it would be much different here? And i dont care about 2015, didnt win games they should have and still missed the playoffs.

Watching the broncos game, if tyrod holds on to the ball like today i dont think he makes it out of the game healthy next week.

Cam threw a much worse pass, with two minutes to go, missing a wide open receiver from the 5 yardline that ices the game.
Cam is coming off rotator cuff surgery, and his team won. At least he got them close enough to kick 3 FGs.

The excuses for TT are crazy. NO pressure and a WIDE OPEN receiver, it was a BAD THROW, a clutch QB makes that throw. I dont care who the ball was thrown to, it was HOT GARBAGE. His whole game was a joke today.
