Good teams go for the throat. I am losing my mind with this conservative garbage.
You would lose your mind more if the Giants were mounting a comeback on the back of turnovers trying to force the ball downfield.

Can't play this bad in the second half. We are down by a TD and will make adjustments and come back to win.

Allen looks very decisive and poised so far.

Too bad Tom Brady wasn't with him
What a scummy post. All for the horrible crime of being good at a sport and beating up on an ineptly run franchise for the bulk of his career.

Fantastic deal for the Bills and great security getting almost all money guaranteed for Hughes.

On the flip side, you can also argue on the use of such a player if he cannot get on the field.
Good pick to develop for the future. The only issue is that typically RBs don't need to sit and watch for a season. They are usually the most prepared for the NFL. Devin may not get the necessary carries in the fall
But then again maybe he does. It's not like we have two 25 year olds ahead of him.

I wouldn't for a first or second. Maybe a 3rd and 4th in back to back years.

People get too caught up on needs that it distorts the bigger picture. It's better to have a great player in a position with depth than just another guy in a position of need.

Came back in because I realized... My favorite thing about this video: No Russ Brandon's stupid face lurking about in the war room!
Finally they are allowing the GM to really run the Draft. I like how the Pegulas and McD were there but only as observers.
I think the Pegulas are excellent owners. They care enough to be there for all the major events and you can tell they have faith in their staff and support them in what they are doing without any interference or hesitation. The flak they got for inheriting what they did and not rushing for changes when they bought the team was unfounded.

It's simple, we have the cap space, pick up the option and move on.
It's simple, if you overpay to keep mediocre players because you don't want to be ruthless with roster management then you soon wont have any cap space to keep good players.

...think the option is $10.2 million......
Exactly, you can do better in free agency with $10.2 million than Shaq. Don't overvalue him just because he's home grown.

No reason to pick up the option with his level of performance. He's not hard to replace if push comes to shove.

While I understand your arguments here, @chris heff, @nucci and @Woodman19, I'll say this again: I look at what Cleveland's done to help their young QB. I compare it to what Beane and McDermott have done. There really isn't a comparison, unless you're willing to claim that one of the legion of guys they've brought in compare with ODB and Jarvis Landry. You could say Cleveland has two #1 guys, and we have 3-4 #2s at best, not to mention better RBs and TE.
We are trying to build a championship team and maximise draft value by taking what's there, not help a single player by drafting what we wish was there. He still gets help indirectly a strong supporting cast and the team as a whole benefits from the improved depth.

so will Beasley and Brown
Don't forget an offensive line that can let Allen drop back and plant his feet, or a defense that can limit the opponents scoring even more.

Whether one trusts it or not doesn't matter. Everyone has to deal with it because the process is happening no matter how unhappy they may be with it.

I have a feeling they're going to make a trade for a WR. I don't think this is the WR group we'll go into the season with.
We kind of already upgraded the WR corps already with two new players abd actually building an offensive line to buy time for routes to develop.

This is the difference between assembling a team vs. just finding good players.

Really building up the trenches this off-season

Yes, but unrelated to the draft ?

Yes, he has a plan and sticking to it regardless of anything else. That's a level of decisiveness most preach but few actually practice.

I never understood the concept that fans of winning teams are somehow more educated and more obligated to make opinions than fans of losing teams.

I’ve been to a lot of strip clubs for bachelor parties but I’ve never paid for anything more than a girl dancing. At my bachelor party my buddies who are pipe fitters were throwing 50$ bills on stage if the stripper took my shirt off and whipped me with my belt. That chick hit me so hard with it I was bleeding from the three hits she got in.
You got married, so you have an installment going
Would you rather beat Patriots both times this year or lose twice to them and win a WC playoff game over another team?

I don't care about the Patriots, i want to win playoff games and think far too many people obsess over them when we should focus on us.
