I don't understand the outrage here, everyone pays for sex in some capacity, how many people here can honestly say they haven't gone out for some shopping, dinner, gathering or got a really expensive piece of Jewelry to get what he did in 10 minutes? Take notes my friends lol

If anything he should be applauded for going to cost effective route for sex instead of marriage or being some young girls sugar daddy. Shows why the Patriots are such a well run organization, pragmatism always wins out in the Long haul.

Remember when we needed a QB and everyone on here were able to do mental gymnastics to justify every single team ahead of us taking one? Fun times

Suddenly those 10 draft picks are an embarrassment of riches. We can sit back and BPA all the athletes to coach up.

I just hope we draft high upside athletes we can sit and patiently develop for a year or two with most of our picks.

Obviously, but we all have our opinions.
I was just pointing out what Beane could be thinking in response to your assertion that it's not an definitive upgrade.

Why are they dumping Hughes?
Was being discussed above that they could add Ansah then move Hughes.

I understand that. I don't see how getting rid of Hughes would be an upgrade. The return would not be better
The front office may think so and they are the ones making the moves. I don't watch other players around the league as intently as the Bills (as I suspect 99% here don't either) so I would have to trust the teams scouts who do it for a living to make that call.

we're finally getting talented players on this team....why get rid of one of our better players?
If you can upgrade a player on the team and collect a draft pick in the process (pardon the pun) then you do it every time.

If someone can tell me the last time splashy, overpaid signings helped a team win the Lombardi, I’m all ears.
This might be one of the most practical, smart FA periods I’ve sent this team have...
Exactly! all our moves so far are unsexy but badly needed pieces to fortify the teams depth. I'm sure the draft will see us take the sexier options and let us stockpile more athleticism which is the better way to manage assets with regards to upside vs.cost.

Anything and everything is on the table for the draft at this point.

Today's moves I guess confirm they will do as expected and pick defense in round 1. I'm good with that. Hopefully they grab another receiver and TE in the next two, with a RB thrown in during one of the later rounds.
We may start to control both lines of scrimmage consistently if we can get another pass rusher.

Beane is really putting the money where his mouth is when it comes to protecting Allen.
-
After last season I don't know how anyone can complain about having too many solid WR just because one of them isn't a "#1"

Lost in all the signings is how Beane is structuring the deals to be front loaded so we can clean up this mess in short order if need be.

Just go get another OT and TE and we have drastically given Allen some help he lacked last year.

Beane is absolutely killing it so far.

Have we ever had a free agency period where we made so many logical impact acquisitions?

Love that we are filling in needs in FA so we can stick to the board on draft day.

Remember the Bills PUT them in this spot ignoring the offense until (maybe) this year
We can build an offense around others. We are building to win a Superbowl, not to appease specific star players.

Steelers draft Metcalf now?
No way he falls that low, we may take him at 9.

No way is a 30 year old WR fetching 9 overall lol, you all need to settle down.

Not going to be as expensive to aquire as most think. Wonder what kind of renewed contract he will get.
Report: Bills were 'furious' about Jets' 2018 trade-up for Sam Darnold

As per the leaked draft board, when your #1 QB drops within reach at a reasonable price after a team traded up beyond your reach for a QB and #1 went QB you are laughing all the way to the bank.
