well this is the question I ask too. I agree with you...its a huge gamble. all those other teams constructed this way (pat/hawks/chiefs) have established winning coaches.

i kinda think the reverse; i think he is finally getting it. The sabers he cleared house and he is doing what he should have done the first time around - hire GM...GM hire coach...Coach and GM assemble team For the Bills...this team hired Coach McD to be the czar of this team ala Pats/seahawks/Chiefs. The next GM you bet will be partly chosen by mcdermot

i dont think so; this has been the plan all along from McD and Pegula (since McDs hiring). Whaley and co were going to help McD through his first off season; and its clear this draft was driven by Coach. This team will be built like the Pats/chiefs/seahawks.. i.e. a team whose coach is in charge. And lets be honest, this was a pretty good draft the coach put together

i just don't see coach McD doing this ; against everything he stands for. If he's cleared? sure ; if not cleared yet? no way we draft him

all i know is if we play some version of nickel between 40-50% of the time, we are in for a rough season if Preston and Reggie are the two LBs covering

i think OJ is a beast; but i am concerned of the reports about him "loving football". I'm thinking CB. I truly believe poyer was brought here to start. He started in Cleveland before he got injured. If one of the top 2 safeties fall then maybe. but i bet we go CB...make the most sense. The kid from Washington being hurt really hurts, but I still think thats where we go.
