  1. TT played decent game.. Hopefully he builds off of it.

Transplant.....no sense in escalating your blood pressure over someone who won't give TT credit you feel he deserves. You might say that you're not getting worked up but replying to every single response that isn't favoring Taylor this game is showing frustration.

He takes his crusade very personally...as if his entire existance is linked to Taylor becoming the guy he so dearly believes he can become.

I just had to chuckle when I saw the over the top responses to what he did yesterday. The best part was many that were steadfast about TT not having issues throwing over the middle or making reads proclaiming he has now shown us he can do it now...based off that game and those throws.

Kudos to TT for a solid performance. Going beyond that at this point is exaggeration, delusion, or wishful thinking.

  2. I'll keep this short, Taylor showed huge improvements in his game and it was evident from the first series. Specifically in the pocket.

His footwork, poise and speed scanning the field looks to have improved drastically. A huge drop by Clay turned 7 into 0 and some very smart throwaways decreased his completion percentage but we totally dominated and controlled this game. He converted some big 3rd downs, and used his legs very effectively.

Make no mistake, this offense runs through Shady but I think we are witnessing the evolution of Tyrod Taylor. I really felt Dennison held back big time in the 4th and just sat on the lead, up 2 scores, dominant defensive performance, that's fine but I'm really excited to see Taylor grow in this scheme and get comfortable with the WR corps.

This was a true team win, well , maybe minus ST, but for the first time in quite some time the O and D both showed up, 400+ yards on O , just over 200 allowed. Taylor's stats weren't eye popping but he did what needed to be done and looked vastly improved in the pocket. I'm really excited to see us match up with Carolina, I don't see any reason we can't have the same outcome.

    Tyrod 2.0 is here

I'm sorry, but this is quite delusional.

I didn't see drastic improvement or poise. I saw more easy and simple throws under little to no pressure.

This is the stuff I'm talking about. Posters claim they know what TT is and that they don't say he's great, but one decent performance against a bad team and they are claiming him as such.

What you saw was nothing special. It's gonna take much more than that over the course of multiple games before I make such proclamations about TT making drastic improvement.

  3. Let's see......completions to RB's and TE's don't count......and the yardage and first downs he picks up with his legs don't count either because a QB isn't SUPPOSED to use his legs to do that. What's next.....not count any completions outside the has marks?!

First game after coming out of concussion protocol, a pretty decent day, a win....and that's still not good enough. I can picture some of these trolls at home with their TT dolls sticking pins through the head.....

I said he had a decent game.

Posters are harping over throws to the middle now and are acting as if he's now proven something in that regard after insisting it wasn't a big deal previously. This is what many of us are talking about when we say CoT.

They will tell you they don't claim he's great, but they go overboard anytime they get some decent play from the guy...today's performance is a classic example of this.

Whatever. I'm not interested in bickering over a win. I initially said it was a usual day and he was decent. Take my thoughts as you will.

  4. Are you trolling? Or do you just have an infatuation of hate for an individual? And I know you are rooting for bad games from the guy and for the Bills to lose. If peterman started, i would have rooted him on. that is what a fan does.

I gave him his credit. You guys want to push me for more and I'm not willing. You are exaggerating what he did over the middle today, and his performasnce in general.

Shady and the defense carried them. TT was once again along for the ride. He makes the occasional play, but he's far from the answer for this team.

I make no apologies for my opinions, and you can call it what you like. It means nothing to me.

  5. Most important thing today for TT: teams will have to defend the middle of the field more now. Unlike the past he used the middle of the field more.

Nothing he did today will change how team's defend him.

It's funny though how many wanted to defend how he didn't really throw that much less to the middle of the field and it didn't matter, but now are harping on it over some simple throws.

    CoT

  6. I can agree with that.

Cleveland almost beat Pittsburgh. Jacksonville pasted Houston. Dalton had four picks. it's the NFL. TT had a decent day. A run heavy team with a QB to manage the offense, still. 224 yards passing with this WR corp is not terrible.

    Sure...he had a decent day.

Nothing that would make me think he's anything more than what he's shown so far in his career, though.

  7. .....I hope the kid succeeds for the good of the team and realizes his dream to be a steady (screw the franchise moniker crap) NFL starter.....he could probably throw for 4,000+ yds, 40+ TD's and run for 750 but the haters will still hate..missing the playoffs with those lofty numbers would STILL be his sole fault....that is the TBD way and was the same on the defunct BBMB.....con-joined twins of negativity.....ain't gonna defeat the hate mindset no matter what....he's here for 2017 so roll with it......the haters will expose themselves.....

    Give me a break.

If TT ever manages to pass at a level that doesn't expose him late in games or in crucial points, I'd be on the bandwagon...any other position is nonsense.

  8. At least you set up your excuse if Taylor has really good games to start the season. So tell us, what's your watermark for it no longer being a "gimmick?"

If Taylor is playing well, by which game will you concede that he deserves credit? Game four? Five? Which one? because I think it's pretty obvious to everyone what your argument will be if Taylor plays well this week and or next week and or the week after that.

Well, it depends how he's doing it. If it's by the means I suspect like rollouts and option plays, then I'll need to see it work for at least six games before I will believe it's something sustainable. The league has proven it can and will figure out that type of offense, so call me skeptical of it ever being a longterm answer...this would go for any QB or any team FWIW.

If he's standing in the pocket and delivering passes with anticipation and using the entire field and making reads, then I'll buy in early.

I'm not setting up any excuses...the CoT has plenty for us all anyway.

  9. Sounds to me that they plan on letting TT take off and run a lot.

    I think that makes sense.

The best case scenario for this offense is to have great run blocking and let Shady run, run, and run some more. Let TT move around and make plays by either running or finding receivers open when outside the pocket...he stinks in the pocket trying to decipher what is happening otherwise.

It's gimmicky, and it will be countered, but this may work for a few games.

Expecting anything else than what you've seen from Taylor as a passer is purely wishful thinking...it just is what it is.

  10. They're not fooling anyone.

Lots of smoke and mirrors behind Shady leading the way.

It may work for a brief period of time if the line can still run block like they have been, but team's don't respect TT as a passer, and that will be exposed...to what degree yet, we do not know, but best case we still have the same pitfalls late in games where TT is forced into being a guy he's not.

I'll be mildly amused watching TT finally being "unleashed", while actually cringing at the results that are sure to come.

  11. Even with their extra picks, there is no way the Bills can fill all the holes and compete for a Playoff Spot before this thing gets to 20 years of no Playoffs.

    No QB

    LG is 35

Center is now 31-32 years old

No answer at RG or RT

    McCoy is 29 now

    No #1 WR

    The Tight Ends are mediocre

    Kyle Williams is 34 now

Dareus is hanging by a thread

Weak Linebacker group with no depth

    No name corners

    1 deep at Safety

Rookie HC with archaic offensive philosophy

    Gotta agree here.

It's going to take landing a franchise QB and nailing multiple drafts for this team to have a legit shot.

    Maybe we contend in 2020.
