Lets not forget Deonte Thompson - 4.31
I remember being impressed by Thompson and disappointed when the Bills let him go. Glad he is back, hope he sticks and gets some opportunity. The Bills suddenly have a pretty solid group.

Im not saying this is inaccurate, just surprised Matthews ran that fast. He doesnt seem to display that kind of speed.
Straight line track speed doesn t always translate to the field but a lot of people saying how slow they are made me investigate.
-
Good to know we have fashion experts on the board.☺

Cam was ranked 28th last year and is 23rd so far this year. 10tds 11int so far this season. That is 24 games, Cam has already peaked. The league has figured out how to play him and his game does not evolve. He is still a big baby in a bad suit.
Cam will regress further without Benjamin to just chuck it up to imo.
-
This is what I figured.......and that leaves them without much speed/quickness in a 3 WR set.
I think Matthews was probably gone after the season either way but I think getting Benjamin makes it far more likely because IMO you want to have Benjamin working on the same side as another receiver(Z) so you can run some route combinations to give him separation. The X position should be for your field stretcher, IMO.
Matthews ran 4.44 and his low 4.34. Jones ran 4.45 and his low was 4.38. That sounds pretty fast to me.

Cam is having a terrible year so far. 10tds and 11int. How much would you pay for that?

Very interesting article. I am a math nerd and love when numbers can tell a story.

Benjamin 14th ranked among wrs with 32 or more targets this season.

Benjamin rated 14th in the league among wrs with 32 targets. Not sure how credible their rankings are but here they are. http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/wr

Tom Brady has 16 TDs and 2 Ints.... None of the Pats recent "struggles" have ANYTHING to do with him, not even remotely. He has shown no sign of decline. Even then, TB at 80% of his peak is better than anything Jimmy Garrapalo will ever be. Niners got fleeced. Pats backups never do anything worth while in the league when BB cuts ties, going back to our buddy Drew... Bledsoe, Cassel, Mallet, Hoyer, Brissett, now Jimmy... JG hasn't shown any potential to really get excited about, not sure how he warrants what will be a top 40 pick. In short, I call all sorts of BS on these "rumors."
Week 17 JG will start for the Niners and get eaten alive, while Hoyer starts for the Pats and has a career day bc the Pats have the AFC locked up by "old man" Brady, 2 weeks prior.
bull ****. Here is another scenario, Brady gets injured and the Hoyer led Pats season goes down the toilet.

My God! Over 1300 of us are currently on the Board! Its Halloween! Go do something fun!
Great addition to the team!
A few of us are too old for trick or treating.🎃

I did not read the entire thread, so excuse me if I repeat a thought, but I am sure that you all will torch me for the last part of my epiphany.
They were going to lose him at the end of the season--not worth the second contract. KB would demand a $55m contract. Not getting that here.
Now the part that will get me some turds:
1. He reported to camp a bit overweight. Some of you pointed out that he got in shape by the beginning of the season. The offseason is to get better--not to get fat. KB should have been tweaking his game, not dieting and running sprints
2. Cam is better without KB. Yes--I said it. in 2015, Cam spread the ball around nicely. I forget our record that year (sarcasm), but the team underperformed the year before and the year after. Hmmm.
3. Our offense is a dud. KB is not getting open. He is running bad routes and is not hard to cover with 1 player.
Watch--our offense will open up with him gone. Trust me--addition by subtraction. NOT because KB sucks, but because he does not make others better. Our offense is slow and lumbering. KB had 8 games left and would be gone anyway. Funchess has been better, so...
A third rounder is not a bad trade---we got Olsen for a third rounder.
Folks--our offensive woes were not all OL--that is what you see on TV...Our big WRs are not getting open. I am not distraught about this--sorry.
This Car. guy is misinformed. Benjamin was not gone after this year, they picked up his 5th yr option for 8.5 mil and could have kept him if they wanted. I can understand the part about he and Funchess being very similar.

@thecomeback
Browns trade for AJ Mccarron reportedly falls through because they were too busy celebrating to call it in
Ahahaahahahahahaaaa... too funny, absolutely hilarious.

i stopped reading after you started to sound stupid.
Of course i judge. It's a god damn football message board.
I am kind of a little bit smart in the football. And I know the Panthers well. Soooo, I don't know what else you said because I like my IQ north of 130... But seriously. Relax. Don't do it. When ya wanna come.
Oh. And judge me all ya want. Just know I'm an idiot and you're dancing for me..
I suggest an IQ contest!

Wow, great news imo and a good deal as well. The fact that Mc Beane know him well should alleviate concerns about his character and commitment. Had no expectation this years Bills would be so exciting. Psyched for the rest of the season. Lets Go Buff a lo!! !!!
-
Haha. Bet you brady gets injured next week.
my first thought when I heard the news. They are on thin ice now and Brady is way overdue for an injury.
-
You have to be on alert with Sean McDermott. He could hit you with a drive-by clapping if you're not careful.
Biofeedback, it keeps him centered.
-
One of the biggest wins in years...and this board is relatively silent....kinda crazy
Celebrating wildly or in shock I guess.
-
Great win Bills!!! Good job all around, Milano, Shady, and Tyrod were stars today. 5-2 start with a very winnable road game next week. Lookin good.
-
I am glad his contract is mostly gone but would be happier if he had not gone to an AFC playoff competitor and reunited with Marrone.
-
I hated the contract they gave him and said so at the time, but trading him to a fellow afc playoff contender (and Doug Marrone)for only a small salary cap relief this season doesn t feel like a win to me. This could have waited til after this season imo. The Bills will still be hit with a large dead cap hit this season and next.
-
we lost to Matt Moore last year.. was it Christmas Eve? Man, that was an awful game, maybe the worst of Rex's time in Buffalo. I'm still mad about that one.
Last year never happened. Rex Ryan coaching the Bills was all just a bad dream.
-
Great game, the Ravens hold off the gritty hard charging powerhouse Dolphins led by the supremely gifted and underappreciated Matt Moore.
-
Why? He would seriously downgrade their fast attacking offense. I'd send him there with no hesitation.
They would probably use him as a red zone specialist, if they are even interested at all.
-
Do not trade him for less than a 5th and not
to the Pats. Why would the Bills want to be nice or help this guy out?
TRADE: Kelvin Benjamin to Buffalo

That sounds pretty good, Jones can have a little more time to acclimate and develop. He broke records as a slot receiver in college and has been playing as a wideout mostly this year.
