  1. Amazing how much hope their was for this team 2 weeks ago compared to now. If Kyle Williams walks before the season, it's officially a tank
  2. After this Watkins trade, it made picking him in 14 a total absolute waste. Overall the bills got very little production out of him for what they paid/gave up. It's part of the reason I hate the trade to begin with. If he had a great year with the bills this year, then you offer him a fair deal. If he doesn't take it, then oh well. But trading him Imo was just dumb.
  3. I actually thought in the 1st pre season game, Tyrod was getting the ball out really quick. Granted, it was to Sammy and they took that weapon away. I agree with the op though that the bills are not playing the offense they're gonna play in the regular season. I was actually hoping someone would ask McDermott in his press conference if they opened up the play book a little more for the 2nd and 3rd string as opposed to the 1st string
  4. The problem with having one thread for all things Peterman, is that you'll have 50 pages of different topics and different people responding to different replys. While some might like it that way, I find it rather annoying and would much prefer 4 or 5 different threads. That way people can discuss what they want on a particular thread
  5. Lol. Pretty nice looking throws. However he was only 50% completion. Definitely excited to watch him the next 2 games
  6. I was litterally just asking myself the same question lol. It's a freakin message board. This is what it's for.
  7. At least I broke down a particular play and didn't just call for him to be the starter
  8. This Peterman talk will continue all season. I'll admit he has me intrigued, but I'm not quite ready to crown him the starting qb. However, their was a play last night that showed me a sign of potential greatness. Something I can't remember seeing from a bills qb in some time. The link below is highlights of Peterman last night. Watching them again is impressive. Especially on that 2 min drill. However, skip to 2:15 in the video and you'll see in my opinion an amazing play. Now maybe I'm way over thinking this, or maybe I'm just easily impressed. Either way I keep watching this play and seeing a veteran type qb. Here's the breakdown. Peterman snaps the ball, drops back, pocket collapses fairly quick. Now if this was Tyrod, or Yates my guess is it would be an immediate scramble or sack. Tyrod may have immediately taken off running. However, what does Peterman do? STEPS UP IN THE POCKET, doesn't see a reciever open, runs down the line of scrimmage (still looking for a reciever), then runs for a first down (head first never the less). Again, I may be way over thinking this, but this play to me is tell tale sign that this kid is going to be great. Maybe not this year. But I really hope the bills hold onto this kid. See for yourself at 2:15 https://youtu.be/aKduBp70kJg
  9. Peterman is definitely the best player on the 2nd team offense
  10. I'm really starting to question if Tyrod could've done what Peterman just did in that 2 min drill with the 2's
  11. They must be saving the play action. Every throw has been a pocket pass, even last week
  12. When we hired McDermott and I learned more about him, my first thought was that he seems like a younger dick jauron. Having said that, I believe McDermott is a bit more firey than jauron was. Also jauron was well past his prime. Ran the most simplistic, awful offense a coach could. I don't see that in McDermott
  13. Part of me thought the bills were in re build mode after the trades last week, but you don't stop practice in the middle of it and yell at your team for not practicing well if you're in "tank" mode.
  14. It's not Peterman love by any means. I'm a big Tyrod supporter.
  15. After trading Sammy, I don't put anything past beane. Don't forget Tyrod was a Rex signing.
  16. Peterman has another solid game this Thursday. After the Sammy trade, I don't put anything past the bills front office. I have no doubt if Peterman plays well again on Thursday, they will trade Tyrod, assuming another team is willing. My guess is they would feel they can get the same production out of Peterman as they can Tyrod, minus the running. Thoughts?
  17. We have 2 recievers who've been here for under 2 weeks, and a rookie. Assuming the 1st team offense plays a quarter again, it'll be interesting to watch what Tyrod and the recievers do. I know we still have clay, Lewis and holmes, but this game could be pretty ugly if they throw alot.
  18. How many corner backs do the bills have right now? 18?
  19. I would say overall the 2017 recievers are better. However, what worries me is that none of the top recievers were here last year. Zay, bolden and now matthews are all brand new. Do they even know how the get to the stadium yet? I worry that they don't play with a sense of urgency. I guess that's where McDermott comes in
  20. Nah, the dark days to me were 2009/2010. Although we saw a small glimpse of hope in 2011 starting 5-2, it never amounted to anything. McDermott and bean seem to be doing everything right and after watching the game the other night, it doesn't seem to me like this team is just sailing it in. It's obvious they want to win
  21. The first good game matthews has, whether it's pre season or regular season, bills fans will be screaming what a genius bean and McDermott are
  22. I dont love the trade, but I understand the op's point. Just wish the bills gave him this year to try and live up to his full potential.
