My 1st thought..no wonder the wind was such a factor at the old Ralph.

Reminds me why Syracuse gets so much snow.

The city is at the bottom of a bowl off the lake with West winds.

The new one is so pronounced on high ground. Hopefully it's just cold with a small moon roof for snow.

I remember someone going on one bills live when construction started, talking about how they engineered the new stadium to block the wind. I'm sure this new stadium will be lights years better in the elements, for the fans and the team

  2. It's 9 pages in, and probably been said somewhere, but honestly at this point, whether they trade him, bench him, or pay him, I don't even care honestly. He's a good player, but I'm not going into this season with anxiety cuz cook hasent been here. There's a dozen guys that took less money to be here and this dude wants 15 mil a season without the stats to back it up.

  3. Said it a few times this season, but this league has improved. Be it, probably with some help from the refs. Most games come down to the final few minutes, and there have been some crazy plays this year. Hopefully these games are good

  4. I'm sure somebody mentioned it already, but 13 seconds. I just can't do it. It still makes me so mad to this day. An absolute blunder by McDermott/Frazier/whoever.

I'm still convinced we woulda been in the super bowl had we won that game. That team was just absolutely on fire in the playoffs that year

  5. Sometimes I legit wonder if training staffs just make these injuries up to intentionally keep guys out. Why risk any kind of injury to him knowing his history? Just be available during the season and more importantly, for playoffs

    Ok this is my NYSEG bill in Niagara County  , Same usage 4/24 and 4/25 ,    $263  4/24 ,   $437  4/25

    4/24 Gas supply $.29 per unit  ,   4/25  $.61 per unit

4/24 Elec supply  $.065 per KWH   4/25  $.12 per KWH

cost of natural gas supply doubled causing electric supply to double (approx)

Natural gas runs most electric supply plants.  You can shop for different suppliers at fixed or variable price thru ESCO , but delivery company stays the same , for me NYSEG  . This is just my bill as an example , your supply and delivery costs can be a lot different. I use NYSEG variable cost  electric and natural gas supplies.

    AI Overview

In 2023, natural gas accounted for 43% of electricity generation in the United States. This makes it the single-largest source of energy used for electricity generation in the country.

You're probably right. I'm not an expert by any means. Looking at my bills, the gas portion has stayed pretty much the same, it's the electric part that has gone through the roof. Either way it's absurd. People getting bills for thousands of dollars is crazy. Something is whack

Called NYSEG about huge increase over last year but same usage. They said cost of natural gas almost doubled and a lot of electricity is produced by natural gas plants. Delivery costs more due to upgrade of old grid .  Exporting liquified  nat gas is more profitable due to boycott of Russian nat gas. New smart meter is not the problem.

Problem is, natural gas isn't what's making the bills high, it's the electricity part of it. Gas really hasent gone up that much in the last few years, electricity has
