Well, the last two seasons, the offense scored a lot of points in a system suited for TT. I don't know why they kept him here when they knew they were changing the offense.

No one that supports TT has said he is the future.

Good numbers when he has the better players on the field. Not as good with not so good players on the field. what a shock. This WR corp is bad in 2017 with the starters. If Matthews was hurt, holy cow, it would be terrible.

No playoffs for 17 years and this poster is talking about a SB. This roster is far from being a SB roster, no matter who the QB is.

And a fifth round rookie will fare so much better with this very weak offense. SMH

He is not elite nor good. but he is far from the terrible QB you make him out to be. The offense put up a lot of points the last two seasons.If the defense had been as advertised, they would have made the playoffs. He is a FA QB, not a drafted one with high expectations. He has done what has been asked of him. They took away what he is very good at-the deep ball-and left a WR group that most QBs would have trouble with. Five WRs on the depth chart-two are kick returners and one is a rookie. No true number one. And the guy who touched the ball every play didn't turn the ball over. And his rushing ability was used properly the last two seasons. Not this season. You play to the strengths of your players, when that player is the best you have at the position.

Except his play hasn't been poor the last two seasons as a whole.

yeah. an offense that worked and scored points with his abilities and better players, why keep that as long as he's here. And throwing in Peterman to this mess, a rookie, that's not fair to him.

With an irrational hate for one player? don't think so. If this were truthful, you'd admit how bad the receivers/backup RB situation is, and would never want to rush a fifth round rookie in with this mess. If it's not fair for TT, it sure isn't fair for a rookie.

Taylor is not elite or even good, but with a supporting cast around him he is far from terrible. He is a FA, not a drafted QB with high expectations as a franchise guy. Probably his last year here. Most posters are rational and understand this. When Watkins, and woods were on the field and healthy, TT put up good numbers. I've already said the rookie in 2018 will be our starter. and that could be fun.
