  1. We both like TT, and any upgrade in the draft would be nice. Maybe Peterman is that guy.
  2. If the Mods want to they can. I'm sure you don't like what Graham is saying here.
  3. http://buffalonews.com/2017/05/22/tim-grahams-power-take-doug-whaley-wasted-time/ "What rookie GM doesn't know this from the jump? How did Whaley not understand EJ Manuel wasn't the answer when Doug Marrone preferred Kyle Orton off his sofa eight days before the 2014 opener, or when Rex Ryan preferred Matt Cassel to Manuel as the backup?"
  4. McDermott never wanted Whaley, and Whaley's days were numbered after the season ended.
  5. lol He wanted full control because Whaley was not good at his job.His poor performance with drafting QBs is one of the poor things he did as GM.
  6. Are you really trying to say that Whaley's body of work as GM had no bearing on McDermott not wanting him back as GM? Not to mention the Pegulas? That is ridiculous.
  7. Of course. Whaley's body of work and his vision, whatever that was, wasn't good enough for McDermott.
  8. The Pegulas had the ultimate say in the new HC. And of course McDermott wanted Beane-he works well with him and Beane is a much better overall football guy than Whaley. Whaley's body of work was not good enough.
  9. He got fired because he didn't do his job good enough, and EJ was one of the bad jobs he did. Sorry.
  10. https://www.thescore.com/nfl/news/1291875?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  11. Disagree. He thought EJ had the "it" factor and pushed him right to the end. EJ had to be one of the reasons for his not getting along with the head coaches. Neither coaching staff saw EJ as a starter.
  12. He did try. He thought EJ was a franchise guy.
  13. Pretty much, but I like the new hirings.
  14. "it was also clear McDermott was the one calling the shots. " Sal M Whaley is gone. He was not a good GM.That is why he is gone. What are 90% of your posts? lets critique and be arrogant with everyone's posting, feeling that your own is far superior. Yours doesn't waste anyone's time.
  15. Yes. McDermott ran this draft. Whaley was a bad drafter overall. and my post was for a particular poster, yet people always feel the need to judge and select which post which isn't for them to intrude on, not knowing any history behind it. Arrogance abounds on message boards. Just watch the response to this post. http://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/sports/columnist/roth/2017/04/27/roth-bills-nfl-draft/100999870/
  16. Why bother watching the season? You and Foxx blame TT for everything wrong with the team. Just look at post 49. It's funny though how the two big QB evaluators at one time praised EJ, and Foxx I believe felt that EJ should have been starting at some point last season. If your going to have an agenda, it might help to have a good past of predicting a player who actually turned out not to be terrible.
  17. You said you could throw the same deep balls to Watkins. How's camp going? But when it's the bad Wrs the Bills had last year, you stated the QB makes the WR.
  18. Just like Whaley did a fine job, in shoulda/woulda/coulda land.
  19. Ryan's run defense was pretty putrid.
  20. "Last season, the Bills lost 7 games in which they scored 20 or more points. As a defensive coach, I would think that Ryan would have been able to utilize his coaching skills to stop an offense. But he failed. The biggest example of this was when the Bills faced the Oakland Raiders in Week 13. The Bills took a 24-9 lead in the third quarter and never touched the end zone again. The Raiders scored 29 straight points and secured a 38-24 victory. This game was unacceptable and could have helped the Bills make a playoff push. The last straw was the Bills losing to the Dolphins the second time. Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi rushed for over 200 yards against the Bills in both meetings. And they didn’t lose to Ryan Tannehill, they lost to backup QB Matt Moore. The Dolphins beat the Bills 34-31 in overtime, which led to the firing of Rex Ryan and the Bills being eliminated from the playoffs."
  21. That second Miami game should have been a win.
