Kelvin Benjamin 2.0
This organization just doesn't learn from their previous mistakes.

Good post. The obsession with 40 times is comical to me. He plays faster than his "40 time" and the gauntlet is a much more significant speed test and has to do a lot more with on field game speed.
Give me anyone of Mitchell, McConkey, Coleman, Franklin, or Polk in round 2 and I will be a happy camper. Doesn't matter to me if its at 33, on a trade back, or at 60. Anyone of them this round and I will be thrilled. And I would take all 5 of them over Worthy, Legette, or Pearsall (I love Pearsall, but he wasn't the right fit for us)
Mitchell / Franklin would be a dream start to this draft for Buffalo.

I marginally like the decisions last night. Getting a 3rd while still putting yourself in a enviable position (#33) to trade down again. Yes we lose the 5th year option but besides a qb or pass rusher it wouldn't have mattered. Now if we don't land at least Franklin/ Mitchell or both, then the decision last night will be an embarrassment. And if Worthy hits in KC, the gnashing of teeth among the Mafia will go on forever. Alot rides on today and Worthy busting.

Trading for Deebo = 0%
Trading for Aiyuk = 25%
Drafting Franklin or Mitchell = 75%

This. & hopefully still get FranklinIf by some act of God we land both Mitchell & Franklin today, I will be ecstatic.

I'm perfectly fine with Franklin @ 33. But I'm hoping teams shy away from Mitchell and he's there for us near 60?

They won the last two Super Bowls. LOL. I'm also a little dubious of their ability to scout WR's with spending premium draft picks on Hardman, Moore, and Rice.
Doc is right. This is the trend people are forgetting. This whole trade back will depend on whether Worthy pans out or not. Obviously our scouts were less impressed than KC. And I too had my issues with Worthy like size, durability and just a straight line speedster like Ross/Goodwin. We have 2 second round picks. Maybe we use a 4th & 5th to get another? I guess my biggest fear is if we double dip on wrs, it will be lower tier guys like Wilson, Rice, McCaffrey.....

Didn't the Bills get the Chiefs 3rd as part of the trade for 28?
Yes but we had to send them a 4th.

I also love Worthy’s elite drop rate - fits right in with KC
We better pray Worthy either becomes injury prone or just a straight line bust wr. If he develops fast twitch moves like Hill, we're screwed.

With all due respect. We got the 2nd best QB in the league and we are worried about minimal cap space for the future?
I'm disappointed we won't have a promising wr on a cheap 5 yr rookie contract.

Do we double dip on WR tomorrow night now?
Double dip with what? Unless we draft Mitchell & McConkey/Franklin, the night is a fail. Josh must be pissed.

If we don't at least come away with Mitchell with all these trade backs, the night is a fail.

I don't understand why we had to give KC a 4th?

Might as well just trade Allen since this organization has given up. Unbelievable how they are pissing away the prime years of the best QB we’ve ever had.

BEANE. It amazes me fans can’t spell his name properly. Makes their opinions less valid IMO. Get it right folks it’s only 5 letters.
Fans still can't spell Dareus....

he has a lot more faults than Caleb Williams .. who people here think is overrated
And he doesn't play like he's 6'4 230 lb... He has a lot of talent
But he has a lot more flaws to correct on game tape than some admit... Including not the smoothest release
I'm not saying he's going to be a threat the next 2 seasons, but by year 3 and added weapons he could pose a problem. He's not pasty like Mac.

Maye is going to be good. A problem in the afce.

I've been on the Thomas train for weeks so no point jumping off now. I think he'll be an excellent wr2 to complement Kincaid. Maybe we double dip later? Don't want to go any higher than 19 due to cost. Hope he falls...

I personally think too many in the mock draft community are too high on Thomas. Good player, certainly. But I've said for a bit...but I'm not going to be shocked if he's not WR4 off the board on Thursday. I think he's lower on team draft boards than many would think
Let me start by saying I think Leggette would be a worthy candidate to trade up in the 2nd round for. But after watching tape / combine on Thomas & Mitchell, I have them ranked as late 1st round wrs. Then McConkey followed by Leggette. My top 8 order is.....
Harrison
Odunze
Nabers
Thomas
Mitchell
McConkey
Leggette
Worthy.

Too bad the remaining guys will be gone. What a disappointing pick.
