  1. Debatable. Alexander looked more sexy due to the sacks. Brown is 6 years younger than Lorenzo who is 33 and on the downside of a pretty bad career.

2 pro-bowls, known for being a top tier special teamer.

Not an elite career but solid. Did you know he also played Oline, DT, and Tight End?

But going on the one year, you could argue either way which one had the better year, but Zach Brown earned a one year contract for 2.5 million all the while Zo earned a two-year contract worth 9 million with 4.1 million GTD. Even the older Alexander was valued more than Brown.

  2.

Pegula learned nothing from his disastrous Rex hire. He has Whaley set the board up again and chooses the coach...again. Terry and Kim Pegula have a terrible track record and they keep doubling down and pretending they have a clue. They need to start listening to top notch football and hockey minds to run their teams.

Having a first year head coach with this much power in the draft room is not a recipe for success.

Next year will be two years. That's what his last 2 coaches got.

    Marrone quit.

  3. "You have to keep building the roster" is a true statement. But the talent that walked this off-season far exceeds what was added to the roster even when you account for this draft class. Good teams keep their good players and then build on that. Bad teams draft to replace their good players that walk because the franchise blows. We are looking at 4-12. The players know management already surrendered 2017.

Maybe Kelly? Kelly is a loser off the field and has a history of injuries when he's on the field. He'd be a waste of a pick.

Right there, just doesn't seem to hold any weight what so ever.

I mean, you truly believe that when the likes of Kyle Williams chose to come back instead of retiring?

  4. Your whole premise is that MG is WAY more valuable than a 5th round pick, and we were foolish to trade him for one. That our GM is a complete idiot for letting him walk for a paltry 5th rounder in return. But yet, aside from the Patriots, ZERO other NFL franchises felt he was worth a 5th round pick. So, it's 31-1 with the Bills being on the side of the other 31 NFL teams that MG was unworthy of a 5th rounder. How does this at all imply that we laughably bumbled this?

Think a lot of people forgot this little keynote, teams like The Giants and Vikings who have needs at the running back position did not go after MG.

  5.

If the #Bills use 3 of their 7 picks on WR/CB/RB ... they'll basically be hoping to land Gilmore, Woods and Gillislee. #spinningtheirwheels

I see two possible replacements already on the roster for three of those positions.

    Jonathan Williams to replace Gillislee.

Andre Holmes will not be buried on the depth chart here like he was in Oakland, so I can see him replacing Woods production.

Gilmore, is a good corner but wasn't physical enough and did not have the willingness to tackle that McDermott requires. So we will see how that plays out.

I know the Bills do not have much luck when it comes to hopeful draft picks panning out but you never know.

  6. And why would they be? Their passing game has it in spades over that of the Bills and they win regardless of who plays RB. Yet some Bills fans fret over who the backup RB is. Most of whom likely knew next to nothing about Gillislee when the Bills signed him. They'll find another guy to fill in that spot at an appropriate salary level. And backup RB will have next to no impact on if the Bills earn a WC berth this season or not.

Not saying they would be. I find it comical that some of the fans here are getting all upset and saying it is a bad move. Yet, the Pat fans aren't praising the move like they did for the second coming I mean Chris Hogan.

This is the type of move the Pats receive praise and kudos for, yet, we don't.

  7. !@#$ing hell the bills are ran by morons.

A team who has put their entire hopes, their entire in the running game, has let someone go who scored 9 tds last year and fill in well for McCoy.

It makes no !@#$ing sense. Gillislee will get his 100 yds against us too this year. Twice.

Really going out on the limb with that prediction, have you seen the run defense?

  8. Rams and Eagles are going to be just fine. The Bills, however, are barely treading water. Our mantra right now is 'Wait till Brady retires and hope Garropolo isn't the second coming.'

Scared of drafting a QB in the first. Scared of success. Satisfied in 'the process'.

It's such a bore rooting for complacent mediocrity.

Are they though? Time will tell, I liked Wentz over Goff when coming out. That being said some people around here want someone that can bring us back and throw the ball around to win us the close games. The Eagles were 0-6 in games decided by 7 points or less, last season.

  9. They better re-sign him. If we lose him, we would need a running back in the draft, and I don't see us getting a RB of his caliber in the fifth. jmo

Don't be too sure, he was behind Karlos on the depth charts before Karlos decided to celebrate 420 and 2 AM taco bell runs were more important n Football.

I really like Williams out of BYU and Conner out of Pitt which will be available in the later round if we do grab that extra pick in the 5th.

  10.

Yeah, f@#$ those other dumb teams and their playoffs!

Rams and Eagles did not make the playoffs after trading up. Just saying, I think most are fearful we might end up with a Goff-type situation as to where their number one overall draft pick couldn't beat out Case Keenum :|
