That's not a hands problem. He's turning his head to look where to run before catching it. I wish he would've learned from the last time he did that. Especially on 3rd down you have to just secure the catch before looking where to run

Allen struggling but he really hasn't had a clean pocket all game. What a horrible performance by the O-line when pass blocking. They were better run blocking that drive though. Ford got driven back way too easily by Bowswer on that 3rd down play

I'm absolutely tired of refs missing so many penalties against our opponents every week while seeing everything on us. Even when we're the home team we get screwed most of the time.

Here come the refs to screw us as usual now. We get called for defensive holding and unsportsmanlike on top? Well how about when they held John Brown on that overthrow and also the overthrow to Knox they held Knox really bad. Where's the call against them?

Allen has missed badly on three throws but how is that and the other plays his fault? He got hit on his blindside. The O-line (and TE) is getting dominated. He hasn't been able to set his feet on a single throw even.

That throw to Knox was really bad but rewind it and you'll see the Ravens got away with a massive defensive holding on the play. The DB mugged Knox before he got by him. You can get a 5 yard bump but you can't completely wrap your arms around the receiver which they did

It would be easier for Josh to get in a rhythm if we stopped running on first and second down every time.

That's why I hate runs on first and second downs. It sets up 3rd down most of the time and makes you have to take safer throws too much

So GMs can only get 2.5 years now? The NHL is one of the hardest leagues to go from really bad to really good in just a year or two because the kids are only 18 when they're drafted. The Sabres first round pick this year (Cozens) isn't in the NHL yet because of it. So there was no immediate help from the draft to help this year. That means only trades can be immediate help. So what really good player are we going to get without trading our first rounder? Unless you're a bonafide top tier team you don't trade first rounders away. It's easy to be mad with how this decade has gone but looking down the road we have Cozens coming and hopefully if we miss the playoffs this year we get another high pick that can help get us really good depth. If the 2019 and 2020 picks pan out then the team has the pieces to be really good.

Just now? I'd say of all-time. He's the all-time leader in field goal percentage. Pretty much automatic when he kicks.

So barring a huge meltdown we're going to finish 7-5 with most likely a bowl game (don't screw us again please). I'll take it but man we could've been 10-2 easily if not for some questionable officiating in the Miami and Kent State (2 quick whistles on fumbles screwed us bad. Also didn't like that blindside block call that took a TD away from us. They got away with a much bigger personal foul too). We still should've beaten Kent State despite those refs but that 4th quarter we melted down. And then the Ohio game which we blew. So close to being a special season but still a good one. It's early but looking ahead to next year we return 8 starters on offense (we lose three starting O-linemen though) and 8 starters on defense. That's as long as nobody enters the transfer portal.
