At least the rams game you could explain away.. Goff played well. our offense played well. this game...just chaulk it up to players not feeling it in the cold weather i guess.

For a rook maye did very well against the blitz. later in the game we had more success but he still did fairly well.

not competitive in a winning way... but if u look at the scores of those games. which im guessing we played one game a year that was close and probably got blown out in the next. you would have thought as bad as we were and as good as the pats where that they would have just been complete blow out games but a lot them werent. usually late 3rd qtr ne started to show some dominance and buffalo started to fall apart but a lot of the games were not just straight up blowouts you would expect

its amazing how we were still competitive against the pats all those black cloud years. we usually had a pretty good defense and some star players just no qb and no name coaching. i would think this would play out diff but u never know... im buckled in and ready

So this week, we have a weak, last place Patriots team heading into a Buffalo club making a push for the #1 seed. Somehow Buffalo managed to remain competitive vs the Patriots when faced with the same situation for the better part of seven seasons. Buffalo coaches during that span? A murderer's row of coaching intelligentsia the likes of Chan Gailey, Doug Marrone, and Rex Ryan. Can Kraft's show and tell exhibit Jerod Mayo pull off what those three modern day Knute Rocknes pulled off - remain competitive with the top team in the AFC? Somehow I doubt it. Time will tell..

from my perspective Lewis plays hard but he's only 5'9 and everytime i seen him sunday he was on the wrong end of a bad play. getting juked or falling down or both. He gets to the play well but after that its not very spectacular.
