  1. Yes, it was updated in 1954 to account for ALL veterans. Great job, you’re quick on the uptake. By the way, Victory in Europe day was declared in 1945 by NATO and Truman.
  2. Oh is this still the Biden economy?
  3. Protectionism being stupid is not limited to the United States
  4. Funny you say that since Repubs are pushing HARD to remove child labor laws. What “economics” are you talking about? Go read Why Nations Fail and get back to me.
  5. It’s redundant, foolish, and embarrassing. There is absolutely no need to do this. It’s also insane to claim we did “the most to win” WW1 when we didn’t even enter the war until it was nearly over.
  6. Veterans Day is for veterans of all wars. Why do we need two?
  7. Costs of living are much lower in other countries. “Slave wages” appear as such to you because our cost of living is much higher. It’s perfectly adequate in other places. Tariffs should be abolished in every nation. They don’t promote domestic growth, they prevent citizens from enjoying the free market.
  8. Please explain this one, MAGAs.
  9. So much for the arts and sciences that made America the shining city on the hill. Glad I have most of my classical music collection on CD. I’ll miss WNED 94.5
  10. I can’t wait for ICE to try and enforce it!
  11. Great rebuttal. Go publish that in an academic paper. Tariffs and protectionism stifle innovation. This is a simple economic fact. Correct. If American made is so great, it should win out in the market place.
  12. Why should I? European firms make better clothing. As @Joe Ferguson forever said, $90 is a common price for a quality dress shirt, especially when you shop higher label brands like Ralph Lauren.
  13. Reducing everything to “orange man bad” shows you lack the intellectual capability to understand opposing arguments.
  14. If Trump has his way, our economy will resemble the USSR. Yeah, we might have goods made in America, but they’ll be low-quality clones of good brands in the same was Optima was a clone of Olympia typewriters, or Zenit was a low-quality clone of Leica. No innovation, no competition. There will be no incentive to make goods better for the consumer because firms are artificially propped up by the government. What a terrible way to live.
  15. Didn’t Vance go to Harvard
  16. Irrelevant. Follow the SCOTUS and bring him back.
  17. 😂😂😂 yeah okay He’s still the fall guy. He got stuck with a weenie UN job so Trump could save face and not actually have to admit he picked a lousy candidate.
  18. (citation needed)
  19. Yeah, all those stars drip down like butter And promises are sweet We hold out our pans with our hands to catch them We eat them up, drink them up, up, up, up Hey, let me in Hey, let me in
  20. Again, Cristoph Waltz is the villain of Inglorious Bastards, not the role model. Just a helpful tip.
  21. It’s an example of successful marketing, judging by your reaction to it. I think he’d be pretty good if he was allowed to be himself.
  22. See, this here is a good example of the Dems’ failure at communication. This did not happen, but the Dems weren’t able to effectively counter the stream of right wing lies about Walz. Next time! Beats me, the Dems’ marketing was very stupid.
  23. Keep running on this messaging, Trump! Americans love paying more for stuff!
  24. A simple example: your side went absolutely ballistic and melted down being called “weird.” It was incredible to see. Then the Dems stopped doing it!
