  1. A tipping point sure, but remember, the colonies wanted to keep expanding west and were forbidden from doing so by the british government via the Proclamation of 1763. Revolutionary attitudes were sown as early as the French and Indian War.
  2. Taxes were certainly one of them, but I’d argue it was a general desire for self-government instead of a king on the other side of the ocean.
  3. A desire for self-determination based on philosophy of individualism and liberty. Again, Hobbes and Locke.
  4. Taxes founded the United States? Not enlightenment thinking based on the writings of Hobbes and Locke?
  5. If that’s your niche, all power to you. Good for you. But no one should be boxed into a specific role as their “place”
  6. Progressive thinking founded the United States, my boy According to Butker she’s not reaching her true role
  7. Being more environmentally sustainable is bad! I fire up my coal-powered water heater every morning and only use soap made from veal fat
  8. You should take a logic 101 course. Might help.
  9. Now you DONT want me to ***** on domestic abusers? Damn, I knew the right wing loves to move goalposts but this is ridiculous! Also Josh Brown is a white guy
  10. Some women certainly may find joy in that. I would bet that most women don’t want to be told they will be happiest as a stay-at-home wife. Like Butker’s mom, a renowned physicist, for example.
  11. “NOOOO YOU CANT DISRESPECT DA FLAGG RAHHHHH” - guy with nine US flag punisher skulls and a “back the blue” flag on his lifted dodge hemi Believing women only reach their purpose in life in the kitchen is the opposite of progressive thinking
  12. Sure. Doesnt mean its not a shite opinion
  13. 1) did he not say that a woman’s role is fulfilled with being a mother/wife? 2) what does a random nobody German guy have to do with Butker?
  14. I can ***** on Frank Clark, Darren Sharper, Josh Brown, or Ray Rice if you prefer
  15. This still does not refute my point that the X post was wrong.
  16. He’s looking into ways to lower government emissions such as more plant-based and sustainable food options at public places like hospitals. He’s not banning meat from stores. Come on. Where are the “smart people” going?
  17. Then don’t pretend the “left” doesn’t care about domestic violence.
  18. 1) his values suck 2) us on the left constantly harp on the domestic abusers in the league lmfao remember the Matt Araiza situation??
  19. Database for pregnant women: GOOD Database for people who buy meat: BAD Neither is logistically possible of course
  20. You can do a lot. You can see which sectors are best suited for green infrastructure and urban farming, you can find better and more efficient ways to raise meat (seriously, the cattle industry wastes a Herculean amount of water), and you can see which foods can be replaced with healthier options. NYC is doing this at schools and hospitals. It is completely impossible to keep a running track of the average joe who buys steak. That’s nonsense.
  21. Excellent news for consumers.
  22. Theyre reducing emissions from food. They’re not tagging and tracking people buying a steak. Conservatives are scared of their own shadows, it’s absolutely hilarious
  23. Nah just a dummy who thinks women can only be successful if they’re stuck at home
