"Would've liked something this year, but the best I could get was a pick next year" tells me all I need to know. This has been in the wirks for a while, and there was not a great market for Diggs

C'mon...it's April 3rd. Can we stop with the April Fool's stuff please? 🤞

Williams might be a decent pick in the later rounds. Seems to me like a core ST'er,who after some coaching, could contribute in a pinch on defense at LB/S. Potential Siran Neal role/replacement

Yep. I didn’t want to be the first to bring up that Josh didn’t mention Justin Shorter.
I think Josh was just being the Bigger man there

Funny. My protologist said the same thing today. Then,he showed me magic and said "Tahdah".

TroyFranklin@28 would make me sick. Not a 1st rounder imo. But T'VondreSweat in the 1st round to the Chefs would make me feel all better🤣

Absolutely. I don’t even want him as a primary backup, much less a starter. He’s basically a smaller Kiko Alonso, reckless, undisciplined and will kill his own teammates to make an unnecessary roughness hit on a receiver.
Idk. With the money he got, seems like a low end starter,or hopefully Safety3, but I defer to McD when it comes to constructing a defensive backfield

If that’s the case we also need a starting SS.
Why? Do you think Rapp is incapable of being a quality starter at SS?

the current weakest starter on team is CENTER
leave mcgovern at guard and get a real center
The current weakest starter on the team has got to be FS

I feel so good that BBB pulled a few moves at WR. He likely figured a major run on the big names in the first round. Hoping we still get a starter @60

After your 500 word essay, I submit five words: “Kansas City Chiefs. Super Bowl Champions”
Five words?🤔 Is that like,"two words for ya...made in America"?

And it's been said you can find those in the 5th and 6th rounds. They just need a high football IQ. No need to spend on a safety right now.
And there's not many better than McD to run a good secondary, regardless of draft position

Of the five potential cuts that you think could happen, only Martin will be cut. Absolutely no way does VanDenmark get cut. Also,Rapp will take Poyer's role at SS. Meaning we need a starting FS to add to the mix. Jmo

I mean, that was just me replying with someone else's quote in regards to what I was talking about.
If questioning whether handing over another big DL contract is wise makes me a "party pooper", after Von and Oliver and already putting most of our money this offseason into Epenesa and Jones, so be it.
Glad you agree💩

The crux of the discussion was based around @Warriorspikes51 citing @HappyDays' report on the situation which was such:
"Alright here's what I just heard on Arik Armstead - we asked him to give us last dibs to match his best offer. But there are ~10 teams in on him."
Every party needs a pooper. That's why we invited you😂

Yeah, they may be a little cheaper. Mike Litorus as well. We can probably get them all for pennies on the dollar
Do we really need so many Tight Ends?

Leggette will not be a first rd pick. That's just the truth. Highly doubt Franklin will either

They’re going to get a franchise qb at pick 3 and be back into the thick of it in 2-3 yrs
Why? Do the new coaching staff have a record of developing young QB talent?

Half the nonsense I post is based upon 'wrong takes' off a thread title. Too much 'Goon Show', 'Monty Python's Flying Circus', 'Police Squad', 'Airplane!' in my formative years.
Good for you! Gotta laugh to keep from crying🤣

Yeah, the "inquiries" were no doubt made made Beane himself. Nobody was reaching out for that contract lol
