It’s insane though. Because they want the players to be something they aren’t either. Sauce has not been good this year but he’s already earned the same ridiculously long leash that Ramsey is still living off of.

Going into this season Fox had him rated 5th and NFL had him 3rd. In those same websites Cook on fox was unlisted and outside of the top 10 and he was 12th on NFL. PFF had Hall 7th. Cook was 24th CBS had Hall 6th. Cook unrated outside top 20 ESPN had Hall 2nd. Cook honorable mention outside of top 10

I know it’s a tale as old as time, but one of my biggest pet peeves as a Bills fan is the fact that the two groups of players listed in the subject of this topic are discussed in totally different terms. I’ve watched games where Wilson has been silent (or drops balls), Hall has been stuffed, Sauce can’t tackle and these guys are viewed as all pro talent regardless of any of their faults. Don’t get me wrong I’m not saying they aren’t talented players. Williams in particular is a beast but Benford since he was a rookie has been absolutely lights out when healthy and you can’t find an analyst in the world that will put Benford in the same conversation as Sauce. The Jets tried to manufacture a 1,000 yard season for Hall (they failed) and yet general consensus is Hall is a top 5 RB in the league. Cook coasted to 1,100 yards that same season. Am I the crazy one? Are these average talents and I’m just wearing homer goggles? Because I swear what I see on Sunday out of Shakir & Benford in particular is insanely high quality play.

I love unleashing Josh more this game but if I have one tiny gripe it’s your team completely bullied the Seahawks d-line to pick up the last first down. I think you gotta give Davis one more crack at it.

Admittedly I had some legit concerns about the Jets this year. It was looking like a bit of a refresh for the Bills and if the Jets of 2 years ago got a competent QB I really thought that defense would do enough to carry even an average QB to the playoffs. Salah was not a good coach but firing him was an awful move. The OC needed to be escorted out of the building especially if you were going all in for Adams. But you pick the wrong scapegoat and now there is no coaching consistency in that building on either side of the ball. Talent wise this is an extremely solid Jets team but they are an utter mess. And they’ve built a team around a QB who will be retiring this offseason if the OL doesn’t get him killed before the end of it.

Ugh can we not do this again. After we were 3-0 everyone was on the Josh is the man to beat now, etc. And don’t get me wrong I love my QB. I think he’s a once in a generation talent. But the reason people don’t talk about Mahomes losing a step or falling off is because he still doesn’t lose and when the games really matter he wins EVERY SINGLE TIME. He has earned every ounce of leeway he can get from the media. Dont you remember when Tom Brady turned like 32 years old and had a few bad games and we were like “ahhh the demise is here!!!”. He killed us for a decade after that. I’m happy we won, I’m thrilled by how Josh is taking care of the ball this year.

This game I have seen Kincaid, Cooper, and now Coleman make catches that I haven’t seen in quite a while.

Where is this play calling in the first half?

This team lives and dies off of emotions. I swear once they get in a vibe the defense clicks the offense scores points etc. But when we are flat the WHOLE team is flat. Coaches need to do a better job of putting this team in positions to succeed early and they can roll.

This is the team that McDermott wanted. Frazier fell on his sword. Daboll stormed out. There is no one giving him any kickback. This is the run first offense and bend but don’t break defense that he believes is what wins you the Super Bowl. I whole heartedly disagree

We are at such a coaching disadvantage. Do you remember when this team scored touchdowns on like 7+ opening drives one season? This team was playing with so much confidence. He wasn’t perfect and had his faults, but this team sorely misses Daboll. I was never worried about our offense failing us.
