  1. I called him a “MONSTER” during that play. The Pats fans in the room said to each other “You think Brady could do that?”. I said “NO other qb in the league could do that!”
  2. I agree. That call seemed more like Garrett telling his owner he has balls.
  3. I watched the game in Albany with a bunch of Pats fans. Fresh off their near loss to Dallas on Sunday, they sat in their seats quietly watching their division foe dominate a team (on the road) that they barely managed. I could see on their faces they knew their team’s best years are behind them. It was the cherry on top of a great day.
  4. Daboll’s rushing plays lack creativity in design, as if he is at Alabama and can just call any ol’ run and overpower the other team on plain talent alone.
  5. I think playcalling too. The playcalling changes in that part of the field, which is why the false starts, holding, miscommunications, JA scrambling, all start to happen as well. It’s like the O knows what’s coming from the OC in their own territory, then he throws them curve balls and it’s all in disarray. I’m not sure anyone knows what the objective is at that point on the field: is it play conservative and guarantee at least a FG, or play aggressive and risk a turnover (and loss of points)? I wonder how much of McD’s conservative nature creeps into the OC’s brain there. Not sure where the blame lies.
  6. I agree. That prevent D castrated the guys capable of actually making plays, forcing them to cover air and keep everything in front of them. There’s 4+ min on the clock not 45 seconds. Gashing us for 10-15 yards per down basically. The GWTD throwing to the guy covered 1-on-1 that no one expected to be the target proves he was outsmarted and outcoached there.
  7. Absolutely. Sending our Only possession receiver on a go route on 3rd and short is a fireable offense.
  8. So frustrating to watch Tre play well for 3/4 of the game and then have defenses called where he’s 12 yards off a receiver covering thin air (space). The good receivers then find space in the zone to sit and catch uncontested long passes. i think first or second play of the Brown’s game winning drive I saw a safety bolt 30 yards downfield presnap in the prevent D like he was going to return a f$&@ing punt.
  9. Seems they rather lose via ineptness than having their young QB throw an interception, which may occur trying to win a game.
  10. The D is the least of the problems this team has, but it’s hard to watch them week in and week out and KNOW in no situation are they going to force a turnover.
  11. When the Titans with Tannehill can field a potent offense and you can’t score 20 against the Browns, changes need to be made.
  12. McD, Daboll, JA, Haush, all deserve a lot of blame here. A defense that plays prevent ahead 4, no. An offense that can’t rack up rushing yards against CLE run D, terrible.
  13. A good OC exploits the D’s biggest weakness. Not being able to run on CLE is sad.
