  1. I think Edwards as gone, not because he wouldn't make an acceptable backup but because he's mentally spent in Buffalo. He's turned on the city, the fans have turned on him. It's time for him to go.

Agree and Fitz is a reasonable backup. Plays Hard and tough. With right offensive scheme a good solid backup. Trent hasnt shown he can do that look at how bad he was for last series he played in.

  2. pretty much sums up your typical closed-minded conservative bible thumping intolerant who attacks anyone who disagrees with their views.

    Typical

yeah and in some cases talk about how your against gays while your getting "favors" from a male prostitute etc. But both sides are full of hipocrits and until we get real election reforms its what we will see. but good to see the party of hate has lsot its strangle hold

  3. well couldn't be third party since in NC the laws pretty much make it impossible for third parties to be on ballot. Actually for most of the ballot options I had this AM were either unopposed or unaffiliated ( supreme court judicial and other judicial seats). I really didnt pay attention to party affiliations I vote for people based on how well they align with my views on issues. For instance local issues were more on school, bonds and growth, congress on national issues, judicial on how they voted on various things before them.

  4. The theme of this post is "misery loves company"...

Is it better to wish Cowher blow another big game (and thus cement his place in the Hall of Fame), so that Steeler fans across the nation can experience that agony once again.

Or is ot better to wish for Seattle to lose, less another miserable franchise (see Baltimore, Tampa Bay, St. Louis) wins a Super Bowl before Buffalo...  :(

Pitt failing again to get one for the thumb is my hope.

  5. It sounded like there was quite a few sabres fans there for the game. To anyone who saw the game and didn't have to listen like I did, did they show the crowd at all and was there any black & red and/or blue & gold out there in the crowd?

mostly black and red and alot of lets go buffalo shouts heard on TV. I miss empire alot during hockey season since hockey hotline was great postgame report. With new MSG coverage usually ends right after the game on DTV.

  6. Nice officiating late.  I hate the stick check call but I think Lindy felt he had to do it.

Nice pass by Teppo and good burst by JP with a stellar finish.

I can see Marty for Savard because Atlanta's tending SUCKS.

not sure if I take that trade or not. Looking forward to carolina game next weekend.

  7. Seems that people love to look for stats, stories, posts, ideas, rumors, jokes, insults, heresay, innuendo, blogs, and whatever that are depressing.  Do we feel the need to reinforce the fact this team/fan base/town is somehow cursed?

Man that avatar of promo is scary, the circa 1972 remake version was much cooler.

  8. In my office, I have a Dolphins fan, a Packers fan, and several Vikings fans.  None of them are mocking the Bills anymore; they all feel pity for me.

That should say something about how the rest of the world feels about the Jauron hiring.

There's nothing worse than being pitied by a Dolphins fan.  <_<

Thats ok accept the pity and save it up when ya can shove it back down his ass when we womp them.

GB fans out to be the pittied ones I see a top 5 draft for them in 2007

  9. They also are likely to retain WR coach Tyke Tolbert. I'm happy to see that McNally should be retained. I know it has been a rough couple of seasons but he does have a good track record and now that TD & CO. are gone I'm curious to see what kind of difference it will make. For him to hang around I think indicates that he may not be too sorry to see Donahoe gone. I think retaining Tolbert will pay better dividends also. Hopefully we have a better season than we have been experiencing.

McNally hasnt proven sh--. He was supposed to be an OL genius our OL Stinks

The NFL network is in so few homes, they have to be nuts.  Cable companies move incredibly slowly when adding channels...I would imagine that the NFL is using this to make sure that their network gets picked up by as many providers as they can, but in the meantime, this is gonna screw a lot of people out of being able to watch their teams play.

Why? If ya have DTV and sunday ticket ya never miss a game!!!

  11. St Louis -  3 rd round pick this year and Ryan Fiztpatrick QB.

    I would in a heartbeat.

Fairchild thinks Fitzpatrick can run his offense in the future. Holcomb can run it now.

    What do you think?

    584319[/snapback]

If I am GM and I dont think JJP can do the job than the ONLY trade I make is for someone who can come in and immediately run the offense. Holcomb is a decent backup in my opinion and not the starter I want in 2006.
