Gearing up for a run for political office.

They were probably hoping he’d take a discount to play with Kermit.
Counting on the allure of KC BBQ, you think? 🤔

Protein powder and workout 17 lbs, or Nathan's Famous / Joey Chestnut 17 lbs? 🤔

There's only one thing worse than a Labatt's '50'.

A warm Labatt's '50'.😁

Definitely the Rush Golden Ale! BTW: The distributor for Henderson Brewery told a good friend of mine who works in the beverage industry that the first batch of that brew was flawed and should have never been released. I have a brand new case waiting for me in Toronto, courtesy of Henderson Brewery. Picking it up on Tuesday.
So that was the QC guy with the 'open to work' sign on his LinkedIn profile...🤔

Chandler did some commercials after he retired. I recognized him in them. I think this one was one of those infomercials they ran on Saturday mornings. It's too long ago for me to remember what he was selling, but it was definitely Bob Chandler in the ad.
'Bobby Chandler's Quick-Pickin' N Fun-Strummin' Home Geetar Course'.

Along these lines, the door from the storeroom that doubled as Brandon's 'shagatorium'. It can be burned at a ceremonial bonfire. 😁

Wilson is apparently not a player. He's a 'play-YAH'. 🤔

July 10, 2022: Ti-cats did not lose this week in CFL action. (Bye week. 😁)

In other league action, Duke Williams was good for a TD and a 4 reception game against Ottawa on Friday night. I wonder if his good play is attributed to the fact his Canadian Tire on Thursday unloaded a shipping container of footballs shipped 'bulk'. 🤔 -

Personal bias aside, Baker seems like a douche bag and Allen seems like a nice person.

Goofus lines his pockets with extra money from insurance company endorsements. Gallant participated in fundraising efforts for a children's hospital.😁

Pretty interesting that in week one, Mayfield will be playing against a team that will be paying him twice as much as the team he is playing for.
1. If I am a gambler, I steer clear of this game. 😁
2. As Douglas Adams wrote, "put your analyst on danger money." A bit arcane, but the H2G2 fans will 'get it'.

Baker still has to pass the physical. I wonder if that is not exactly a slam dunk.
The fix is in. You offer the team physician a package deal on homeowners, automobile, and malpractice insurance, and Baker's a shoo in. 😁

With almost a quarter of a Billion dollars in escrow, for a player who could wind up on the 'ineligible' list.
A large soft drink at Flying J truck stops just went up to $79.95.

Darnold goes for a 2nd, 4th and 6th, Mayfield for a conditional 5th?
Even though he's unlikely to ever turn into an elite QB, this a nice trade for Carolina and a million times better than the trade for Darnold.
Carolina trading for Darnold was 'Jack and the Beanstalk' v. 2.0. Traded a valuable cow for magic beans.

The Mayfield trade in comparison is savvy business. 😁 -

Carolina Panthers need to redo the 'I've Been Everywhere' song, but substitute QBs for places. 🤔

My very first encounter with a celebrity happened in Batavia in 1977. I was the coat check girl at a rock venue called "The Primitive scene" I met Billy Sheehan the bass player there in the owners office. The one funny one was I met Jerry Lewis' son Gary Lewis. He hit on me, he was rebuked. Then he asked if I knew where he could buy some weed. I didn't know this guy from Adam so I told him No. He invited me back to his holiday inn hotel. I rebuked him Again.
Gary Lewis and the Playboys indeed.
This is why Jerry left him out of his will. 🤔

I was in Cleveland a few weeks ago and had a similar conversation about Baker with some locals. I was wearing a Bills hat grabbing a sandwich and a beer, and a couple of guys started chatting about how they are jumping ship to Buffalo after the Watson debacle. They also said they hadn't worn any Browns gear since the trade.
Haslam tripled the price on Browns gear to help underwrite the Watson deal. 😁

Maybe they can fill those Pac slots with UB and Syracuse.
UB officials: "Now that's just silly!"
Syracuse officials: "What suckers...er, um...boosters can help us with this noble goal?"
