    How old is that structure?

Someone’s gonna see some insurance 💰 from that….

Built in 1897 as the Great Northern Elevator.  Often forgotten as being a grain elevator, since it doesn't display the later concrete silo design.

This is video of Hoaks on Route 5 in  Hamburg yesterday.

Hoak's always seemed the place to send remote crews for news broadcasts when the Lake Erie seiche was running easterly. 😁

I remember the Palmwood late 50's & 60's, always had a sewer odor around it.  Hope that;s been fixed?  I was too young to go in, at that time.  Had to settle for a few rides on the Comet.

In that era, they might have still been working off septic tanks in the area.  Palmwood has been demolished, and construction on new condos on the site are in progress.  Municipal sewer works with recent upgrades are at the corner of Ridgeway Road and Crystal Beach Drive.

Also, in some years seaweed drying on rocks can kick up a terrible odour.

Am I incorrect in my assumption that by deferring the first half coin toss McDermott also gets to choose the ball or the wind in the second half?

I thought the above option results in the opponent getting an additional conditional draft pick. 🤔

Tough re-match in the Grey Cup for Hamilton.   This time around the Blue Bombers have the best O-fence and D-fence in the CFL.

Also to consider, Stelco is busy, so a lot of the TiCats have been called back off of lay off. 😁

Along these lines, my normal Saturday morning drive down by the old Palmwood Hotel in Crystal Beach was derailed by the town already having put up barricades at both the big hill on Ridgeway Road, and Lake Avenue.  Weather like this usually brings out a few board surfers, but the town must not be willing to run rescue missions later if there's a large seiche effect.

  7. Just watched an old clip from Australian television of he and Dolenz touring there a few years back.  Speaking then of the fairly recent death of Tork.  Ironic that Mickey Dolenz was at one time a member of the Hollywood Vampires, noted for their carousing.

This is funny.  Or maybe sad.

If Phoenix moves, they are talking about going to Kansas City (gag), Houston (gag) or back to Quebec City (would be AWESOME!)

Let's hope they go to Quebec.

This franchise is an embarrassment to the NHL.

Kansas City is trying to be the 'new' Atlanta. 🤨
