  1. All due respect to the 2 people who died... who may or may not have died by his hands. Do you feel his on the field accomplishments should be recognized( wall of fame etc)?

    No.

I suppose we are stuck with him, being on the wall of fame already.

But I do not think he should ever be recognized (invited for homecoming game, etc) by the organization.

Perhaps when OJ dies, they can issue a statement of condolences, but I would hope they never reach out to recognize or support him in any way.

Should they remove him from the wall of fame? No, I don't think so. But no further contact is necessary.

  2. where do you get your info from? Cuz this is just an uninformed post...they are NEW owners, not BAD ones. They haven't had a chance to be bad yet...c'mon people, this is silly talk

    ^This.

The so-called "reporting" the OP speaks of is that sports version of fake news, some of which seems to come from guys that live in their parents' basement.

It is the off-season, and people "report" all kinds of speculative rubbish. Just stop reading all that crap. I know Bills fans are hungry for news, but good God, make some better choices in what sports gossip you believe.

  3.

Even with that being said, if they were in a good cap situation I still would find it hard to believe that players would really want to come to Buffalo. Since week 16/17 of last season it's just been a humiliating downward spiral. What do you think?

I don't understand this "humiliation" reference. It sounds like you buy into all the Bills gossip as though it were gospel.

The Rex hiring was bad. The Pegulas suffered from the NFL Owner learning curve, and bought the lies of a fast talking snake oil salesman.

I think they have remedied that bad hire by hiring a guy like McDermott.

Free agents will sign with the Bills, although there are limits in cap space.

But all this humiliation talk makes no sense. There is so much "fake news" in the sports world, and particularly when the local newspaper has an adversarial relationship with the local sports team.

This whole thread seems to be based on a non-issue.

  4.

Yep. More things pointing that way.

Am I the only one who thinks these newer styles of hats with flat brims and such are lame looking?

I thought they had the cap right for decades when they were all like regular baseball caps.

You guys dig these newer flat brim hats that have come out in the last 5 years or so?

I think those flat brims make the person wearing it look kind of stupid.

I mean, don't you bend the brim in a curve to make the hat fit better on your head?!?

But then, I am a relative geezer, I suppose. It's hard to figure some things the current young generation likes.

  5. I'm glad the team is in Buffalo.

They have so far been bad owners.

    What a dick.

There has to be a massive learning curve for new NFL owners. Especially with a business cycle of 12 months, you may have to take some lumps at first.

Yes, they got bamboozled by a smooth talking loudmouth who talks a good game. Rather like a snake oil salesman, that old Rex.

I am happy to see McDermott take over, and I believe we are now in good hands.

Maybe you can change your handle to FireRex or FireAnthony or maybe even FireSean to keep up with the times?

    Oh well, enjoy yourself.

  6. The question is how much does Coughlin still miss being a coach. He could makes things uneasy for St. Doug and try to force him out over time, then take over on an interim basis. Remember Marv thought he could still coach the team after Meathead quit.

I seem to recall that Coughlin was like a mentor to Marrone. They would get together every year to talk about about football, life, whatever.

So, I don't think they would suddenly have any kind of adversarial relationship now.

The Avro RJ85 crashed due to electro-magnetic pulse (EMP), endured as it crossed over the plate border between the S American Plate and the North Andes Plate. Some assign the North Andes Plate to the S American Plate, and others assign it to the Caribbean Plate, as it has rock attachments to both. Though this region has not had heavy EMP before, the S American Roll is on the move, with an aggressive uptick. Pilots would be wise to avoid this plate border if possible, as it is subject to pressure from more than one source, and thus is likely to be under almost constant EMP in the future.

  8. have you been to Tavern On The Tracks for a Bills game yet? They play shout, the have Labatt, it's just like WNY.

I have not been there. I was looking for a place closer to home.

I saw the Ravens game at Taste of Buffalo Pizzeria. Lots of Bills fans, good wings, and a great steak hoagie.

It is in Huntersville, near exit 25 on I-77.

Labatt's Blue on tap, too. They were playing Buffalo radio until the game started.

  9. Wentz looks Un-rookie

    :(

How stupid are the Browns. Carson Wentz? Nah give me 25 draft picks to spend on other "guys" to fill in the 53 spots so we can keep our cap space over 50 mill

The Factory of Sadness puts in a lot of overtime, trying to get rid of those top 5 draft picks.

Could have had Watkins and Wentz over the last 3 years.

    Duh.

  10. It must be awesome to have a legit QB and offense. Watching det/ind is actually enjoyable.

Although even with Stafford, the Lions have sucked for most of his tenure. That has to really hurt, having Stafford and Megatron and going nowhere with them.
