    I feel the same.

Even more so with Happy Memorial Day.

So....my heartfelt thank you to all those who had served and still are serving ❤🇺🇲

I got a stern lecture about "Happy" from a co-worker a few years back. He proceeded to tell me about the friends he had lost.

Maybe a Blessed Veterans Day is better, but that does not suit everyone.

You dont twist ankles in the NFL.

Burfict was fined $25,000 for twisting ankles versus of all teams, the Panthers.

Singletary did something similar after one of the interceptions vs Jax. And there was no question who had the ball.

I hate those leg twists after a tackle - it should result in a penalty IMO.

  3. When Dawson Knox was drafted, I immediately loved the pick.

Not that I knew much about him, but as soon as the Bills made that pick, Belichek traded out of his spot two picks later. That seemed to indicate we may have spoiled his plan for taking his next big tight end. It could be just coincidence, but it could have been cause and effect.

I realize the phrase "ten year old" is referring to how long ago he wrote that, but reading what he wrote, I think it also applies to the mental age of the writer.

Thank you for posting the actual quote. I had not seen it before.

And to call Smith "dumb" in the process - wow, I have lost all respect for Gruden.

And Gruden not considering that "emails are forever". What a fool.

Do you want to trade for Cyrus Kouandijo?

This made me curious as to Cyrus' whereabouts these days.

    https://3downnation.com/2021/07/19/former-nfl-ol-potential-riders-starter-cyrus-kouandjio-decides-to-retire/

Former NFL offensive tackle Cyrus Kouandjio has elected to retire, head coach Craig Dickenson revealed in his media availability on Monday.

Dickenson said the team tried to convince Kouandjio to play this season, but he’s suffering from knee pain. The six-foot-seven, 322-pound blocker is unwilling to continue playing through the pain to pursue professional football.

EEEEKKKK sounds scary. Sounds real Ponzi ish.  Whats their angle on being able to do this?

Alan Demarcos says: " 'leverage Trading' is all about using little amount to control the huge amount in the forex market"

So, leverage trading would be the answer. I don't know the Forex (foreign exchange) market, so I will take his word for it. About 80 hours into this, I've got $4562 in BTC where I started with $770. It surprises the hell out of me, too. But some people do trading for a living, and are very good at it.

It was money I could afford to blow, so I took a chance. I imagine my soon-to-be-ex-wife would agree with you guys.

  7. In the past, I have been opposed to buying Bitcoin, given my feeling that its value is based on nothing (i.e., not backed by precious metals).

But I happened upon a Telegram community called @Amplified_Trades   When you get in touch, they will have you send some Bitcoin to them, and they will do their Binary Option thing and multiply your Bitcoin amount. It sounds like a scam, but I tried it and got a surprisingly large profit, so far.

In 72 hours, my $770 input has grown to $3302. Actually, by their trading methods, they just increase the amount of BTC you have. I started with .0264 BTC, and now have .0775 BTC.

If you have some money to play with, and an adventurous spirit, give it a try.

I had been staying with XRP and XLM until this thing came along.

I must tell you that investing in crypto hastened my divorce, but now I am my own boss. Your mileage may vary.

back in the day…. It was much more relaxed….

Did you ever have the Canadian border agents take your car apart? I was driving my Corvair to Canada with a few friends, and we were suspicious teenagers I guess.

It went from "Open up the boot and the bonnet please" to taking out the seats and everything. There was nothing to be found, so they said OK you can go. Of course, you had to put your own car back together.

Depends which city the team was from.  Ottawa was the Rough Riders, Regina Saskatchewan is the home of the Roughriders.

Back when there were two Rough Riders teams - Ottawa had the log-riding Rough Riders, while Saskatchewan had the cattle-riding Roughriders.

I know at least a few peeps here like the CFL.  2021 Schedule is below, opener is on ESPN 2 tonight  with Hamilton at Winnipeg at 8:30et

Thank you so much for this heads up, Mike.

In the chaos of selling a house and moving, I completely missed any CFL news. So I truly appreciate you posting this.

I love the blue collar nature of the CFL. None of these guys are millionaires, they are just hard working dudes that love football.

Gilliam is what I call a "glue player".

You've got your star players, your great players, your very good players....the names you know. The guys you see on highlights. The guys whose jerseys you see being worn by fans in the stands.

But working alongside all of those guys, setting them up for glory, often working in anonymity...are the glue guys. They may not be fancy or exciting, they may not have trading cards or make the Sportscenter top 10 Plays, but they're important. Oftentimes, without their contributions, the splash plays wouldn't happen. ONE solid special teams play where a guy stays in his lane and prevents a kick return score and the team wins by 4 points. ONE solidly fundamental block on a blitzing defender and the QB is kept upright long enough to throw a 40 yard bomb for six.

Glue guys. They matter. Reggie "Glue" Gilliam. Can't live without 'em.

Thank you for that assessment. So many posters here are so GD cynical it is sad. They can't have any hope for a player to develop because it's not a name they have heard of. Good Lord.

During the beginning of Covid in 2020, I made some video's of me on bass (and some selected keyboard, yes, it's a Casio).

There are some flub ups in each of the video's. I didn't select easy songs. (Like 8 of the 9 videos are Rush).

The only thing I ask, is please be gentle. But I would like to get your feedback.

And maybe I should practice these songs again so I can remember how to play them...

Ken, that was very cool. Thanks for sharing that part of your life.

I aspire to play bass - have aspired for a long time!

I particularly enjoyed Billie Jean. That is such a great bass groove. I gotta learn that one.

It's all in my mind now, aided by lists of great 12" 45s from the 1980s on the internet and hearing something.

At some point I owned all this...

I'll keep posting when I think of something worthy of it from that era....

    Thanks for the thumbs-up!

I remember Gazebo from listening to CFNY. They played some great music, which you could not hear on any other station.

This is so dumb. With so much continuous water on the planet, how do you designate where they change?

Are their buoys with signs saying “Welcome to the Southern Ocean”?

And "Y'all come back now, ya heah?" signs when you leave the Southern Ocean?
