  1. I have always wanted to attend a bowl game. It seems like such a cool atmosphere.

I'm living in Buffalo this year, but will soon go back to Tucson, and will have some extra $$$ soon, so hopefully next year, I can go a bowl game.

  2. RIP Mike Nesmith

I saw the Monkees in Memorial Auditorium in 1967 (I think). Sadly, Jimi Hendrix was no longer the opening act by that point in the tour!

My neighbor had hired me to chaperone her 2 pre-teen daughters who were attending the show, so I got a free ticket. So much screaming, it was hard to hear the music.

If you are in NYS, exchange choices are very limited, so open an account at Coinbase. Use a debit card, and buy some Stellar Lumens (also known as XLM). Using a debit card should allow you to move your XLM right away (otherwise, with credit card you have to wait several days)

You can PM me if you wish.

I failed to mention that if you live outside NYS, you can probably buy XLM ("Lumens") directly through Lobstr, and skip the Coinbase step.

Then you can swap them for XRP.

Godspeed fellow 2bd poster I root for your success always in all ways. everyone really. I'm going to pass this by hubby and our financial guy in whom we have great trust.

Thanks for giving it your consideration. I did mention that time is short. There are some big events coming which will change the whole world, including the financial system. Once that new QFS comes in, the price of XRP goes way up (as well as gold/silver prices) and this opportunity fades away.

Sorry to make it seem like a high pressure sales pitch! You could get started with $100 before your finance guy gets back to you. Not much risk in that.  Well, $100 can be a lot for some folks' circumstances.

    Vanguard Total Stock Market. VTI

10-12% return on average per year. It invests in the top 3,000 companies on the exchange. You will double your money about every six and a half years 👍

If you want to get rich quick, forget the stock market. It is so manipulated by the big guys, such that the little guy will never make more than peanuts.

If you want to make big money honestly, here is the deal, but you must act soon.

If you are in NYS, exchange choices are very limited, so open an account at Coinbase. Use a debit card, and buy some Stellar Lumens (also known as XLM). Using a debit card should allow you to move your XLM right away (otherwise, with credit card you have to wait several days)

Where to move your XLM? Open a Lobstr account, and you will be able to move your XLM here.

Once you get your XLM into Lobstr, you can swap it for XRP. (yes, this is a way to buy XRP now). You can make huge profits on XRP, but you can't fart around and do this next week. Time is of the essence.

Why listen to me? I'm not a line chef, after all. Just a retired software engineer with a masters degree. That doesn't prove anything, but I know a few things most people do not know. I expect to be very rich very soon.

You can do this with $100 or even $50, I suppose. It depends on how rich you want to be.

The stock market will soon crash, so you could be left with nothing. Bitcoin will soon go to ZERO because it is not ISO 20022 compliant. Ethereum gone too. Do a little research on the Quantum Financial System to see what I mean.

You can PM me if you wish.

  6. Are any of you guys suffering from the tumbling Bitcoin value?

You can save your investment if you trade your BTC for Stellar Lumens (XLM).

If you have the Lobstr wallet, you can then swap those XLM for XRP. This will make you wealthy, moreso than holding BTC which will soon go to zero.

Don't say you weren't warned. But then who the hell am I? Just a smart guy - not perfect, though. But I am going to have some VERY LARGE GAINS fairly soon. Not sure yet what to do with a million dollars, but I'll think of something.

Thing is that they've tried. They've addressed the issue in the draft and it's just not really working out. Be it scouting or our ability to develop or both, something's not working so I agree it's on Beane. Could have easily had Javonte Williams as far as the draft goes, he looks great. Moss is such a disappointment. I hate to admit it and wanted him to succeed but outside of some toughness he just looks so slow and painfully average out there.

They've tried???  No, they have tried - on a budget.

We need to spend more than a 3rd round pick on a RB!

You might say RBs are a "dime a dozen" but you get what you pay for.

When your QB is your best runner, you have a problem. It was a glaring problem Monday night.

I was looking into buying gold/silver but it felt like a scam. Worse than stocks.

    1) you pay a premium. (You start out in a hole)

    2) the market is flooded with fakes. Have to find a reputable dealer

    3) Storing the stuff is a pain. Need home security. or pay a bank.

    4) You have to find a buyer (easier to sell stocks)

    5) you have to authenticate that your gold is real.

    Am I missing something?

I find it funny that you can buy stocks in precious metals..

You pay a premium? My sister bought silver locally (Hunt) and paid like $12-13/oz premium. That's how you start out in a hole.

Go to JMBullion.com or SD Bullion (cheaper and slower) and silver was $3-4/oz above spot price. These are reputable dealers, so no fakes. Bars and rounds are minted by some well known mint.

Easier to sell stocks? Are you kidding me?

Are you missing something? I think so.

Patriots ……it’s everywhere on every sports show…..all over the radio! Patriots are due for an embarrassing loss tomorrow….let’s go Falcons!

You should go out and beat them twice before you talk s**t like that. I don't think we can sweep them this year.

Anyone have a retirement fund? I'm 40 and am finally thinking about opening a Roth IRA. All I have is profit sharing with my job. What company do you invest with? Likes/Dislikes? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Take any spare funds you have in savings and buy precious metals today.

Go to JMBullion.com for fast reliable service. Silver bars and rounds are easy to buy. Very soon, the Quantum Financial System will be in place, and will be backed by gold, silver, etc. This will make their value increase - greatly!

I would avoid the stock market, where the little guy never makes much profit because the big guys manipulate it so much. I believe it will soon crash.

  11. When the new Quantum Financial System is ushered in (soon), the only coins in use will be the ISO 20022 certified coins. That's the XRP and XLM families, Algorand, IOTA, and a few more.

BTC and ETH and most others will go in the dumper. 99% of coins will be worth zero. Write it down.

Arthur M. Anderson is still plying The Lakes... Anderson was the last vessel to make contact with The Fitz.

Wanna see where The Anderson is on the live AiS map... Just east of Alpena, Michigan at time of this post:

Looks like The Anderson is leaving The Lakes and heading to Marin, Spain for the winter... Origin was Drummond Island, Michigan...

I am surprised those long skinny lake freighters can survive on the larger waves of the Atlantic. I thought they were designed for the Great Lakes, but I am just a land lubber.

    That line always gets me.

"She might have dove deep and took water" is a very eery graphic image to me. The sea is a cruel mistress.

"... and farther below Lake Ontario takes in what lake Erie can send her."

Love that song and proudly sing that line every time I head it.  It's probably the only song I know of that mentions Lake Ontario or the region where I'm from originally.  (Rochester.)

Apart from this song and "The Erie Canal", what other songs mention upstate NY?

Woodstock songs, but none really mention New York.
