in light of the current African locust swarms....

So interesting. I really knew nothing about them.
Madness!Cant they just fly a plane to suck them all up and use them for food??
Like a plane sucking up locusts and grind em for protein plane?haha

saying a candidate needs a black VP to bring out the black vote -
without any respect for the black candidate and his or her vision...just the very notion that they’re being black will bring blacks out to vote.
while it might be true - how racist is that???Progressive idiots seem to have no idea.

OK. I was able to find out what cytokine storms are. But, what is Ro?

What's truly unnerving is the possibility of this being a biological weapon...
either released intentionally or unintentionally...
Would like to see confirmation of this though I'm not really sure what to trust these days...

20,000,000 Americans were not hospitalized with the flu.
And 43000 were not hospitalized by N-COV. Those are just confirmed infected numbers.
Same as flu infections.10 hours ago, bbb said:What are the parellels?
The Transmission rate appears similar.
cytokine storms in affected individuals leading to organ failure.
Ro of 3-4??? That’s very high. More than 3-4 times that of seasonal flu.
of course the weaker and sicker are more likely to succumb to this but that can change.
And where is the data for children dying? I haven’t seen one child die from this. -

4% for regular flu. According to the CDC.
Not death rate.
20M Americans caught flu this year so far.
10,000 deaths.
0.05% mortality rate.
40,000 Coronavirus infections1,000 deaths
2.5% mortality.
crude numbers but Corona is 50 times more deadly.

DuckDuckGo.com is your friend.
This virus appears to have a 2.2% death rate. That’s much less than the usual influenzas that appear every year. The flu kills mostly the very young, the very old, and those with compromised immune systems.
The h1n1 viral pandemic by contrast infected people of all ages and gave a much higher percentage of pneumonia than ordinary flus do. It’s also more likely than you die from the pneumonia.
It’s not clear yet what the age distribution stats are. The B word about this virus is that it’s new therefore no one has immunity, so it has the potential to infect a lot more people worldwide than a “normal” flu.
As @BillsFanNC just said above, everyone has some protection from the regular flus even if you don’t get a flu vaccine. It’s called the “herd effect.” There is no herd effect for this virus as it’s new. Next year, maybe.
Purell does NOTHING to stop these viruses. Everyone needs to wash their hands regularly for 15 seconds scrubbing vigorously with SOAP and 110 degree water. Then dry them with a single use device (paper towel or air dryer). DON’T touch your face or lips or you can inject yourself with the virus if your hands or fingers have picked it up from surface contact.
Don’t travel to China.
this is not correct. The death rate of seasonal flu is very low. Some 20-30 times less than this novel coronavirus. Not to mention it has so many parallels to 1918 Spanish Flu...Just had two trade shows cancelled in India and China... pretty serious *****.

The 2 players I want most at 22, but are unlikely to get there, are Lamb and Epenesa.
I'm holding out hope that one of them is there.- 1

Trade for #16 with Atlanta Falcons
give up #22 and #54
Select WR CeeDee Lamb.
Yes or No?

Nonsense.
they do this every 4 years.
as much as I love what Trump is doing...he will be gone after 4 or 8 years.- 1

I see Trumpy has posted a video that apparently shreds Willard Romney.
I haven’t watched the video yet - and I’m always in favor of Trumpy punching back - but that’s gotta be it for the Mitt bashing.
one and done Trumpy...let it go.
The Pub Senate needs Mitt, unfortunately, especially as the looney Dems will just keep coming at Trumpy with Impeachment after Impeachment.
If the Pubs win a few more seats in the Senate then he can be confidently bombarded.
Until then, let it all out now and then let it go.

I’ll be rooting for him.
That’s for damn sure.- 1

I dunno...there is a million reasons why a person might sell his stock.
but only one reason why they buy.
They are insiders so they know everything about their company. -
Forget FA for WR this year.
We have 2 great vets in Beasley and Brown.
I would draft 2 in April and bring em up.
Draft 1 high and one low (who can play ST...think Roberts replacement). -

Well maybe i am wrong, i have heard NO ONE outside of the media & TBD discuss this....in other words real people. From what i read in this thread sure as hell no one has changed/his/her mind. I would like to see the TV ratings
I dunno. Maybe.
I just can’t imagine anyone who isn’t a partisan hack watching this thinking ‘man that Schiff guy is making some good points!’- 2

I love Lamb - really do. Really want him.
I put the pain value I’m willing to attribute to getting him at our 22 and our 54. That would mean he needs to fall to 16 or so...
I would do that.
that being said.....
there are tons of good WR talent to be had all over this draft.
love the kid from Minnesota.
love the big tall kid from Texas.
I wouldn’t spend too much draft capital to move up here.
