He's neither a star or superstar at this point in his career. (Not sure I know the difference, but he's neither.)

Knox, and Oliver are the two I hold out hope for developing into studs. TE takes time to adjust even for the best. Oliver played out of position and should benefit from a guy like Shelvin. Crosses fingers.

Reed is not going to stop anyone from punching the Rat in the face. You do that, and as we all saw, the meltdown begins. Thuney? Yeah, he may help, but he won't matter either if the mindset on our D is changed.

Who is the guy that’s going to change it?

Dunlap’s arrival in Seattle lead to a revamped D. The Bills need a similar addition before the season begins.

It would also be wise to trade below 18th If possible and not pull the trigger on the trade until the last miniute IMO.

Harris may go lower then Beane wants to go...

    Trade up for Harris!?!

Harris is Eddie Lacy without the China Food. He will be a fine back for a few years but I don’t see anything in his game that would translate to him being a generational guy at the next level.

The roster can be addressed in many ways and not many of those would  have me complain.

Trading up for a RB would hurt my brain though. That would be a wart on the nose of our witch.

We have one disagree so far

    @CommonCents why do you disagree?

I meant to agree, I hit the wrong button. It’s almost a feeling of disconnect, the off-season always felt like make or break. This year it’s much more the feel of just run it back.

Maybe the looming summer of fun is also part of that, most of us didn’t get to enjoy life last year and this summer should be wild.

Come draft day I will be back in the swing, I think.

Who is the last RB you regret the Bills passing on in the first round?

You can deny every other metric that tells you that drafting a RB in round one is foolish...........but the fact that we can't even cherry pick one guy who was a consensus high draft worthy RB this century that the Bills passed on says it all.

All successful organizations have systems in place to limit mistakes.

Systems defy the "open mind to everything" mindset that leads a talented rostered Raiders team to select a kicker in round 1.

First round? Zero. I was overly frustrated when they didn’t make Chubb or Dobbins happen though.

If OBD wouldn’t spend a second on those two they sure as heck shouldn’t spend a first on anyone coming out this year. I’d take either of those two way before anyone from this years class.

  6. The dancing and excitement that my nephew, my brother, and I shared after the fumble recovery and touchdown early in the AFCCG. It’s been a rough stretch, that was a moment and two looks that I will never forget.

That total joy from the Bills was probably the same way many of us felt growing up during the 90s teams.

I can’t wait for next season, if fans are allowed, we will be at that opener.

Dunlop is still coming here... wait 10 days as the prices drop....

Seeing him at the home opener last time we played them was amazing. He stood out the most out of anyone that day.

Absolute beast. I am not sure what he has left in the tank but he looked good in Seattle. I’d love that signing.

I really don't understand why we rushed to sign Sanders. I don't hate the signing. But its looking like some of these premium receivers are going to get stuck signing one year deals.

If we could have had Golladay or Fuller or Samuel on a one year deal for a reasonable price, the Sanders signing is going to be very disappointing.

I love Golladay. I do understand why Beane signed Sanders though. After the AFCCG I feel Iike the coaching staff realized the playoffs have different rules and they need WRs who can get off the LOS even with contact.

  9. I don’t understand the excitement with Ertz. Why give up a pick for a guy on the wrong side of 30 when you could have kept the pick and signed Smith or Henry?

Saying Ertz is top 5 in 2021 is a stretch, even if someone gives you that...he will soon be out of the top 5. The other two have a chance to get there for a handful of years.

I am all in on Beane and McD and I’d be excited they got “their” guy, after last season they get the benefit of the doubt. I just feel like we would be revisiting this one in the near future.

We were the NFL worst team covering TEs last year and have long been unable to do so. Our D is soft against the run and terrible at covering TEs. BB is building a team to exploit both. We haven't responded as of yet. Gotta believe Beane toughens the trenches and finds a big nickel solution. Edmunds Is a liability against NE

Reddick would be the guy. I don’t know what the money would look like though.

  11. The amount of restructures around the league seems to be at an all time high with the cap going.

Are these players losing money or just kicking the can in most cases? If they are losing money, I’m sure some GMs are loving this off year where they can punish players for under performing.

I would almost guarantee James will be looked at by Buffalo again.

Not sure how Detroit used him, but production and targets were way down. Might be a low cost replacement for Kroft.

He was known as a pretty good/tough dude in Pitt, maybe DET was just not a fit.

If the Bills are looking at James I’d rather them look at Josh Hill. He is a better blocker and can split out wide in the red zone.

He was waaaaay under used in NO.

Wilson if traded will want to go a team that is built to go far in the playoffs.

I really really hate to say this.... But Miami has to be thinking... hmmm

    lol

This is going to be one of the craziest years with teams having new QB's.  The Draft is going to have a ton of QB's go round one no matter where the talent is at.

    crazy year

If the NFL turns into the NBA I’m going to have to learn how to understand the score in Tennis.
