Of course I'm most concerned with us winning.  But I also hate the prospect of Buffalo and its fans getting a black eye in a game everyone will be watching, because of a relatively small percentage of #######s pelting the Chiefs with iceballs.

I could see Hochuli getting pelted which would look even worse.

This season has been filled with injury's for the Bills i wish both teams were at full strength so there would be no excuses what so ever . That being said if something doesn't work out well there will be plenty of "FIRE McD" posts out there .

Right now they are all on the wagon & not saying very much because to this point McD has for the most part proven he is the man for the job even if they won't admit it .

You can bet if the Bills were to win the SB the silence would be defining from the McD haters well at least until next year when he didn't call the perfect game then they would be back in full force .

In your senario, all it would take us the first kiss next year and they would all be out in full force calling for McDermott to be replaced.

  3. Len Dawson.  I met him at an autograph show.  He loved talking about the old rock pile.

He said the visitor's locker room had only two showers and only one of them worked.

I remember he and Nick Bounicoti being the original hosts of Inside The NFL on HBO.

Would you fire him if he pulled another 13 seconds?

No.  IMHO McDermott is the best coach the Bills have ever had.

Yes, that loss really hurt.  But you ignore all the success he has had.

Based upon your criteria, every coach in the league that doesn't win it all should be replaced each year.

Winning the Super Bowl is so difficult.  You need the talent and a significant amount of good fortune.

You and your cohorts that get all fired up to dump McDermott after each loss are in the minority.

Here we are, the 2 seed in the AFC, we won the wild card game, we are favored in the division round vs KC and you are still crying about a loss 2 years ago.  Let it go.

Many are so tried of hearing you guys beating the fire McClappy drum over and over.

I will read your response, but I can not promise I will respond.  This get so tiresome.

By the way.  Come up with a new derogatory name for our head coach.  Using McClappy is just being lazy.

    Agreed,

However,  if the Bills lose Sunday, most of the crazies on this board will be calling for McD's head within 10 minutes.   the vitriol will be sprewing everywhere.

    write it down.

    Not that difficult to predict.

We have seen that reaction after every loss this season.

I get that point of view and lots of what you say is valid.

I'm not a huge fan of McD but it's hard not to rally behind him at this point.

I still have my doubts he can lead the team to a Lombardi. That's just me though. A loss on Sunday certainly wouldn't give me any reinforcement that McD is the guy

I think what's slightly being lost here is why was the team 6-6 and in that position? Should they ever have been in that position? Blame has to be placed on the head coach.

Bottom line is McD dug himself out of the hole he dug. It's certainly a gave and take he.

This team has been in this very position for years now. It's not to minimize the accomplishments. Accolades are in order. However, this team led by Allen has to progress further. No excuses no satisfaction, no no no.

A loss on Sunday changes a lot. Questions about McD will and should be asked and addressed. Think Tomlin or McCarthy.

The team was 6-6 due to a pathetic offensive coordinator and  significant defensive injuries.

Do you think Mahomes and Kelce and Reid are bringing anything less than their A game? Do you think that this game will be too big for them or do you think they will be in their Element?

Do you think McD will be in his Element? Or will this possibly become too big for him, again?

Hoping and wanting are great. I hope and want drub the heck out of them.

Faith is another thing entirely. Faith is based upon previous experiences ( not wishful thinking which a huge segment of humanity misses) I don’t have faith in McD because his previous performances preclude it.
So, eye rolls and puke emojis aside, what is it that has you not sounding too sold on a win but still throwing shade?

You "fire McDermott" posters get so tiresome.  If McDermott was fired we most likely would be much worse off.  He is not going anywhere.

But just keep crying.  The rest of us can't get enough of your whining.

Two things worry me:    Bernard and Pacheco.

There is a HUGE part of me that believes Josh Allen will not let us lose this game.

Win or lose though, this is my team.   These guys are going to play their asses off for us.

Rejoice if we win.  And if we don't, lets please not criticize.  These guys will give it their all.

All that said, I hope they serve up Kermits head on a platter.

    GO BILLS GOD DAMMIT!!!!

    I agree with you 100%.

If we lose, be prepared for the same posters calling for McDermott and Beane to be replaced.

  9. It just seem like KC is getting all the breaks as usual.

KC has two more days to prepare.  They are mostly healthy.

I could see their receivers catching everything on Sunday and Kelse looking like himself from two years ago.

I just hope we can change the trend of getting knocked out of the playoffs by Mahomes.

Let's send him home on Sunday!

Are we the better team? We are only 2.5 pt. favorites. Vegas typically gives the home team 3 points. So vegas actually thinks the Bills are ever so slightly worse than the Chiefs. Assuming that's mainly because of all the injuries.

My understanding is that odds makers now give the home 1.5 points.

Man oh man, this guy is just so elite.

He really had his guys ready to play today. They kept it pretty close in the first Q and came out ready to fight.

Just another incredible coaching product by Tomlin today. He saw what other “better than McDermott” coaches like Mike McCarthy cooked up yesterday and what Mike McDaniel cooked up the last two weeks and wanted a piece for himself.

All these elite coaches, just being elite and superior to our own McDummy week after week.

Good luck to Mike Tomlin on his elusive hunt for his second playoff win since 2016. If only we could be so lucky to have such a coach.

    SUPER SERIOUS EDIT:

I crunched the numbers and it’s actually FIRST playoff win since 2016. Man, we gotta get THAT guy.

    You are being ironic, right?

I've had an account on there for years. I haven't posted in ages though. Back when I did, I found myself knowing more about their team than they did.

I've been lurking there this season, and one thing that's struck me is how quickly the fanbase will spin on their team. It's been "Super Bowl bound!" after a win to "Fire McDaniels (they will misspell it with an 's' on the end 🤣), Tua sucks!!!" after a loss, from one week to the next. It's pretty much melted down after the KC loss. Now they just attack their team, and each other.

Yea, I thought our forum posters were like that as well but Dolphin fans are way over the top.

I went on there for the first time after we beat them for the 2nd seed. I thought this place was toxic, but holy cow. That website is on another level.

edit: especially w/ their hatred for Josh Allen as a human being. I guess I understand bc I loathe Tom Brady, but Allen seems like a genuinely good guy. Brady is a weirdo. People here generally respect Tua as a person, but we all agree that he’s an overrated system QB.

    They really are toxic.

No, I think it's just pretty much going to be the insult.

    LOL

But in fairness, the whole experience of going over there when the place is empty, probably deal with some odd office that you would never be inside, and so on, is kind of the "cool stadium experience" if you know what I mean.

I guess you have to be 18 years old, which is a shame.

This is the perfect gig for kids.  I would have been all over this if I could have gotten out to the stadium somehow when I was 13, 14, 15, 16....the money is good at that age and it's a fun, cool experience.

I can imagine filling the place with about 10,000 kids...and the PR value of that would be great.  "WNY youth bail out community with selfless hard work and showing the world the WNY way" and what not.

Just have to avoid slipping into the "Pegula is running a sweat shop with child labor" angle.

    LMAO

I'm thinking all seats will be available come kickoff, but maybe that's wrong.

About half of all lot parking space is taken with snow...so that's going to be a huge issue.

They should be running city metro buses to the stadium from a huge parking area that people can get to and isn't under 3 feet of snow, if such a place exists.  Like if you can get to Amherst UB campus, park there, and a bus will go every 10 minutes to the stadium or something...no parking needed, at least at the stadium.

If snow is EVERYWHERE around WNY, that won't work obviously.

People under 18 are acceptable with signed work papers.
