  1. Means a lot, it really does. Makes all the work we put in worth it!!! Go Bills!!
  2. No sweat and I understand people defending the boards and op, but I am not a click bait guy. Go Bills!!! Incredibly appreciative!!!! I hope you enjoy the new ways that I am challenging myself to create content that separates us from big sites.
  3. My apologies, that's what I meant. Sorry, I fail at multitasking at times lololoolo No worries brother. I don't come here to hi jack threads or troll or whatever. The only reason I come here is to bring different angles and knowledge to our fans. To pass on the little football knowledge I know to others that are willing to listen. I'm not in this for clicks.
  4. Thanks and it was not intended to hi jack any thread but to add to the discussion. In fact I was adding to his thread with a play he didn't cover **in detail** edit..
  5. TT was #1 in lowest % of YIA for all of week 1...Complete opposite of last season, that's an improvement and great start https://imgur.com/a/R1czw
  6. I tried and was told to put it here by a moderator....Does this video not add to the conversation? 50 huh smh Very true, he and the TEs on runs to their side struggled to get any type of movement.
  7. Exactly, regardless of opponent, he went through his progression and put it where it needed to be. I appreciate that.
  8. I don't think the offense was lack of progressions, was all on TT the last couple years. Lynn did a good job of establishing a foundation but I do expect TT to be TT. I am comfortable and undertand with who he is. No need to raise hell when he does what he does from time to time. This offense will maximize his abilities and if he can execute several of these a game, we will be just fine.
  9. Ive heard people saying that Oleary was open and TT didn't throw it to him. Same with the roll out to the left when he hit Oleary.
  10. Gotta give Taylor credit when credit is due, he makes the 47-yard play to Matthews, there's no denying it. Did you catch all of the factors that led to this big play? http://www.cover1.net/taylor-works-progressions/
  11. In order to distribute to the weapons in a West Coast offense, the quarterback must be able to decipher coverages and pinpoint their weaknesses. On the following play Taylor does a great job of deciphering the coverage, coming off his first two reads in his progression, then delivering a pass to an area that would maximize his WR’s yards after the catch. Sit back and watch it unfold. http://www.cover1.net/taylor-works-progressions/
  12. There were many questions going into this season in regards to Taylor and his ability to deliver passes in a west coast offense. Many feared that he would struggle to deliver timing passes in windows to maximize YAC. There were several times in the Jets game that he showed that he could do it. Can he do it consistently? We shall see, but you gotta give credit where credit is due. On the 47-yard pass to Matthews, If he doesn't decipher the coverage, work through his progressions and deliver this pass where he did, there is NO YAC. Check out the video breakdown. http://www.cover1.net/taylor-works-progressions/

  14. Appreciate it, Nate did a great job! We try!!
  15. All fair points, I think it's fair to say were are splitting hairs in both directions. Really not that far off
  16. I appreciate the kind words, and I apologize I can not post and discuss as often as I would like. But if you want more content, please subscribe http://www.cover1.net/cover-1-newsletter/ It is a high low concept and I think he noticed the S/CB combo coverage. Tried holding the S w his eyes, as QBs are taught but sliding left threw the play off.
  17. No doubt, that definitely contributed to holding Adams in place. Initially TT a good job using his eyes against Adams, bc Adams had bracket coverage on Zay. But sliding keyed Adams to come off his assignment.
  18. Love your points, but I am still in a wait and see approach. But I do think he should get a bulk of the season.
  19. Wow, that is quite the spread. I hope that they are wrong. Vegas pretty much nailed last weeks spread lol. So to add to this thread, Dan from SB Nation's Buffalo Rumblings did a Panthers scouting report. Tell me what you think. http://www.cover1.net/bills-panthers-advance-scouting-report-offensive-tendencies-defensive-targets/ I tend to agree and I hope Vegas is wrong this week lol
  20. I know that this forum loves discussing Tyrod Taylor so I thought that you would enjoy this breakdown. Personally, I thought Tyrod had an solid day. He showed us a few things that we really haven't seen consistently, but he also had a couple throws that were inaccurate. All in all I thought he was alright. You? http://www.cover1.net/film-room-breakdown-tyrod-taylor-week-1/ If you're looking for game reviews from me here they are: Defense: http://www.cover1.net/bills-defense-tampa-2-defense-wins/ Offense: http://www.cover1.net/turner-scheme-on-offense-key-to-the-win/
  21. I think I speak for most of us when I say that we are pretty surprised that Dawkins hasn't beaten out Jordan Mills. I dont think it will be long, if there is one thing that this staff has made clear, competition will always be present. So if Dawkins continues to improve he will crack the lineup. But here is a breakdown of his preseason.
  22. Not in 2016 it was sub 60%, barely but doesn't really change anything especially considering the offense he played in. Here is adjusted completion % https://imgur.com/a/CwxUO Here is his passing chart from 16 https://imgur.com/a/grT6e Here is a pre draft breakdown from Mark Schofield...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BhYvpyVgKHw Our breakdown at Cover 1 prior to the draft
  23. Not a flashy trade but one that makes sense for both sides. Panthers want to run more man, we don't. We need a deep threat and returner Clay is that guy. Trait based breakdown here: http://www.cover1.net/trade-alert-wr-kaelin-clay-for-cb-kevon-seymour/
  24. I think youre forgetting his college career, how his OC consistently hid his arm strength with boundary throws AND not to mention his sub 60% completion percentage. Accuracy (Montana and Brady comparison) usually doesn't improve in the NFL...Cannon? I'm no Jeff George brother! lol
