I don't miss those days
The day EJ hit the tent was an all-time day on this board.

This is exactly what we need to happen, but sadly I agree with you that it's a pipedream and never going to happen
Oh I agree completely; this NEEDS to happen but it has a zero percent chance of happening.

Ruyter Suys and Corey Parks from Nashville "Kitty". One of the best live shows I've ever seen (and I walked into the show having no idea who they were) and I feel like they fit the motif of the OP perfectly.
I'd post a video, but the one I'd post is very much NSFW, so I guess I'll settle for this one that won't embed. Suys is lead guitar and Parks plays bass.

I also enjoyed Sean Yseult who played bass for White Zombie.
As for singers? Give me Shirley Manson of Garbage.
Now in terms of women who played music that I adored but aren't of this genre?
Tanya Donelly was also underrated IMO

Brendan Shanahan anybody? Mike Harrington had a story about him and the Sabres in TBN
Shanahan is NEVER going to come into a situation as some sort of senior whatever and not be able to choose his own GM and HC. Since we already know that Adams isn't going anywhere, and that he's going to be allowed to choose his own daddy...err...senior advisor, we can go ahead and eliminate any candidate that wouldn't participate in a hive mind.
FWIW I think Dudley is a pipe dream as well. Why would he come into this mess when he doesn't have to? Why would he accept Adams' and Terry's terms when he doesn't have to? Florida is humming along just fine. Also, I would argue that Dudley and Adams would have VASTLY different ideas on how to appropriately build a hockey team and that situation would come to a head very very quickly.

That's amazing. Do they give Brind'Amour the boot?
It doesn't matter. Brind'Amour and, more specifically, Mrs. Brind'Amour are not moving to Buffalo.

Probably spurs
It's 100% Spurs, and not for good reasons. Plus Terry went and copied Spurs' stadium.

I seem to be in the minority with not liking the Hollins schtick. Didn't bother me to see that gimmick go out the door. Although I did think they would be bringing in someone better, so that kind of disappointed me - I consider Palmer the A Cooper replacement.
As to the OP, I liked the TO thing at the time. I didn't like see Pete Metzelaars leave - but I guess he was a multi-year player.
It wasn't my thing either.

a BANGER right off the top. Night Primetime NFL football home opener against the Ravens.
I expect a slugfest and major Brawls in the trenches. I will be paying close attention to the DL specifically
I do like the home field in the games you referenced. Advantage BUFFALO. It's a LOCK the fans will be LIT
GO BILLS
You want to play the Bengals early and the Ravens late. We got it backwards.

Someone honestly explain to me how Kincaid and Morris are different apart from draft slot and opportunity.

Hard to tell. These threads always revert back to the same old story.
The way I see it, Gabe Davis, if he was to return to the Bills this season, wouldn't move the needle forward regarding the offense.
Is he the most inconsequential player with the best Bills highlight tape of all time? Could be.

Strange they'd be willing to fly to TB for a preseason game
Get to practice the routine and get a taste of the heat. Going to Miami week 3

he took more hits than any QB in league historyyeahhhhh. no. I can recall Brady getting hit hard one time. And he played in the era when you couldn't hit people low, or high, or even a tad late.

I think it's about time. Heck, the way gambling punishments are going, particularly in NFL, pretty soon most gambling infractions will simply be a fine.
Pretty soon we will be able to gamble on who is gambling

People keep hiring a guy who co-ran a mafia linked illegal gambling ring and then wonder why that guy doesn't win the way they want him to. Hmmmmm.
It's beyond me how Tocchet is even allowed to coach in the NHL let alone why people hire him. His partner pled out in exchange for testifying against Tocchet and got 6 years, Tocchet ended up only getting probation. That in itself is weird. But yeah, integrity of the game and all that.
