You are correct. I am more frustrated that they just can’t seem to get these ***** young, high draftees to make a difference. Phillips may be needed because of spectacular blunders on draft day.Shhh. Beane knows more than you.

1) A lazy bum bum asked for a thread recap, as if we were AI just programmed to do his grunt work
2) A wild moderator appeared, questioned his intelligence & assumed his nationality
3) The time-crunched poster clapped back "I knocked up my girl twice in a 1 year span! Ain't nobody got time for that!" and mocked moderator's duties
4) Moderator then told the loafer to go night night
5) Mr. "I can't be bothered to read" couldn't fathom the weight & responsibilities on moderator's shoulders, so he fled the scene... presumably to take a much need nap.
Aaaand SCENE!

It’s just mind bending to me some of the decisions this GM makes that he thinks fixes holes. He brings back Tre White who looked pretty bad with Baltimore (he got torched BY THE BILLS in a playoff game) and looked even worse in LA. You don’t go sign that player with all the question marks to be a CB3 behind a rookie like Maxwell. Because if you do, you basically pencil in Hairston as CB2 and if that goes bad, you’re suddenly onto white - which we’re already at.
Then he doubles down on that and brings Dane Jackson back too.

Beane loves a washed D line
I said this earlier in the week, but his tendency to reach for what he knows is problematic. There will be NOBODY better available in the next 3 days? Nobody??

It was already reported that he's signing to the 53 man roster.
Then that truly changes the math and is all the more puzzling.

I think he was already gone.

Uhm. OK? Maybe to PS rather than the 53? If it's to the 53 who is gone from the previous calculus?

Make sure you leave out the part where Davidson started to let up and then Shilo yanked his facemask.
Davidson had a good handful of Sanders facemask too at the end.

Shadeur currently is a bad QB, this blaming everyone but him is like watching Bills fans discuss Kyle Orton a decade ago. He is not good, why pretend it is the rest of the team?
And this is why you don't bring the circus to town.

Raiders back up QB Aiden O'Connell out 6-8 weeks with wrist fracture. Only other QB on the roster is a 6th round rookie.
If I'm Beane I'm calling them now and offering White or Buechelle for a late round pick.
They'll be able to pick up Tyler Huntley for free

Romo is just.... very.... interesting
When Romo was new and just out of the league he did a great job of telling viewers what was going to happen pre-snap. Now it's clear he's not doing as much film work as he used to because that part of his broadcast is greatly diminished which leaves the rest of what he does which is stories and rambling and ballwashing which is not what got him the #1 gig in the first place.

ENOUGH with Micah Parsons and his run defense. Again, we’re not losing playoff games because we can’t stop the run. Parsons is 2nd best in the ENTIRE LEAGUE at doing what we struggle to do - pressure and sack the QB. It would be a blessing if he was a Buffalo Bill. As Leodis McKelvin used to say, “point blank, period!”
There is zero money to do this anyway so it's a moot point.

If we can make the cap work for Asante Samuel Jr do it. Love Tre but he's not the Tre we drafted, and he's just cursed with injuries. He'll be a constant concern.
I don't think Samuel is healthy which is why he's still unsigned. On top of that he wasn't the world's most willing tackler BEFORE he hurt his shoulder and neck.

What mistakes did Shenault make? I looked at the box score and saw that he had 2 kick returns for 75 yards. He was on kick coverage and lost contain at least three times leading to big returns.
15 minutes ago, BobbyC81 said:So, why was Zach Davidson punting? Saving the punter’s leg fo4 the season?
Robbins was apparently ill. Robbins held for kicks but did not punt. Davidson was a punter until 2018.

I think Samuel starts on the PUP
This is not possible. Once a player practices in the PS they are ineligible for the PUP list. He can go on IR, but he's also not hurt right now so he'd need to hurt himself again before Tuesday or have a serious illness.

Just now, BillsFanForever19 said:
Samuel is healthy now. You can't just PUP or IR healthy players...
He missed the trip tonight sick. Turns out he's got a new form of foot fungus that they will need to send samples to Switzerland for them to work up a cure. His foot actually fell off during the procedure and they expect a new one to grow in roughly 6-8 weeks.

Few plays in and Bishop is running with the guy, watches him make the catch, and makes a pretty good tackle.
How bout not letting the guy catch the pass.
That's not what we do here, Mister.

He’s making the team as the Bills pulled him early tonight and mcdermott called him a “true Buffalo bill.” Now, will be catching passes from Josh? Uncertain but unlikely
He was still running kick coverage in the 2nd half

Not saying Hamlin is one thing or not but if you’re defining it specifically by position, that’s bizarre when the overall sizes are not far off each group.
Take it up with the people who make the scores.

Jordan Phillips is back
in The Stadium Wall
Posted
They already brought in two retread DBs with White and Jackson. If they felt like they need more Rasul Douglas is still out there. If New England cuts Alex Austin the Bills could bring him back as well. Is Micah Hyde still in town for another run on the PS?
