  1. Pretty clear? Stop. Anyone claiming they can clearly hear what he actually said there can't be doing it with a straight face. The guy who asked him the question couldn't even understand him.
  2. Why would I want to "comment on play on the field for both players" when I just finished explaining that it was never just a player-for-player trade from the Eagles' perspective? Their main motivation was cap money. Enough cap money to sign several players. I'll say it again. It was never about simply trading McCoy for Kiko from their perspective. Not even close. You simply choose to look at it that way so you can claim "trade victory!" I never claimed Chip was smart or dumb. Nice job of putting words in my mouth though. But by all accounts, he lost his job because he couldn't get along with the GM, and because, according to the owner anyway, he "couldn't communicate effectively with his players." But hey, your version allows us to say we won the trade, so let's go with that one. Lol. All you guys are doing is proving my point. So hell bent on needing to feel like "we won the trade" that you'll look at it from any perspective that makes it so, even if it means creating an alternate reality. Guy's, it's okay to admit sometimes that both teams did good in a trade. You don't always have to win. What happens if Kiko or one of those players they signed with all that cap money goes on to have great careers with them while McCoy continues to put up mediocre numbers and cause distractions here? Or worse yet, what if he's cut after this latest incident and we only have one season of him to show for the trade while they still have several players still playing for them because of it? Are we still the winners then?
  3. It's hilarious how some people still don't understand that trade was all about freeing up a boatload of cap money for them as far as Kelly was concerned. Kiko was just gravy on the potatoes next to the big fat steak for them in that trade. It was never a player-for-player deal for them like it was for the Bills. I'll never understand this inherent need by some fans to feel that their team somehow "won the trade." The Bills wanted a feature RB who's a threat to break a long TD run every time he touches the ball. Chip wanted a buttload of cap money while dumping a diva with an attitude who's contract was no longer worth the headache. Both teams got what they wanted.
  4. See, that's what I'm talking about. You kinda lose the right to be offended at all those names you hate if you're allowed to call them all meth cooking rednecks. I'm guessing he'll be much happier with a coach that doesn't misuse him like Chip did. And If memory serves me, they were able to sign several players after the McCoy trade. Murray, Mathews, and some others in the defensive backfield. You can't point to the one guy that had the worst year and say "yep, they spent it all on that guy." It doesn't work that way.
  5. I like how people have already chalked this up as "just a bar fight." lol. Sorry, but it's not a fight when one guy is on the ground while a posse of four is kicking and stomping the piss out of him. Hell, we don't even know whether the cop even threw a punch, or if he was simply jumped as soon as he tried to take back what he thought was his bottle of champagne. I know people don't want to hear it, but this might not have been much of a "fight" at all.
  6. Pretty sure he was talking about the comments in the comment section of the crossingbroad website link Yolo posted. He's dead wrong about nobody ever talking chit about rednecks though. Southern whites are the last demographic of the country that still pretty much considered fair game by everyone to say insensitive and stereotypical things about. Especially from libs.
  7. As far as the Eagles were concerned, they won as soon as they traded him and freed up all that cap money. Kiko was just gravy.
  8. At a bar named Misconduct. You can't make this stuff up. And I'm guessing it's not a mere coincidence that him and his posse just happened to end up there.
  9. I never said that. The other poster was making it sound like physical abuse was somehow worse than what McCoy ever did. Which isn't true at all. Geez, lighten up Frances. Seems to me like you were in such a hurry to play the knight in shining armor act that you completely missed my point.
  10. Yes. I honestly couldn't understand a word of what was being said either, and of course it made me think of the airplane jive guys. Great scene from one of the all time funny movies. Hell, even they guy asking McCoy the question couldn't understand him. I think I heard it that time now that I knew when to listen. Did he say something like "I made a mistake, what you want me to say" ?
  11. Which do you think hurt worse. The physical pain of getting hit, or the emotional pain of being told you're nothing but a dirty alley girl on twitter for the whole world to see? The latter is what McCoy did to the mother of his child. I can't put myself in a Woman's shoes, but I have to think I'd whole lot rather be punched than have something like that written about me online. Physical pain goes away. Those comments will always be plastered online somewhere. Hell, in the same twitter rant, he basically calls his son a mistake because protection wasn't used. Now his son gets to grow up and read how his father thinks he was an unwanted mistake born from a dirty alley girl. Who's the bigger dirtball again?
  12. Nobody even cared about his stupid party. The embarrassing moment from that little episode came from McCoy stupidly using the Bills' logo on his little orgy invitations, and had to be told like a dumbass by the team not to use it.
  13. Don't know how you figure one is worse than the other when they both have a history of treating women like chit.
  14. Stomping on cops in a bar is just the latest drop in the bucket.
  15. That's fine for a jury. But outside the courts, it doesn't really work that way. Not even close.
  16. He'll most likely be suspended by the team like Aaron Kromer was. All chargers were dropped on Kromer and the team still suspended him for 6 games.
  17. At no point do they ever say they got calls from people claiming they were there. They referenced two callers. One caller who claimed he was a friend of McCoy that claimed there was heckling and harassment. The other caller allegedly claimed he knows a guy who works as a promoter that allegedly has video of heckling before the fight and blah blah blah. Not sure why these two callers would expect us to believe that McCoy would continue to hang out in a club where he's getting mercilessly terrorized and harassed by everyone and the DJ. And why would anyone call him a traitor when he was traded? The radio host knew damn well he was throwing out claims from callers that didn't even pass the smell test, but I guess you have to fill up airtime with something.
  18. That might be the first time in 30 years that I've heard someone refer to it as country western music.
  19. McCoy would probably be celebrating this news if he didn't have serious problems of his own today.
  20. Little punks had it comin' for stealing beach chairs! And it was probably self defense! And...oh wait. That was last offseason. Stupid cops probably had it comin for being jerks! And it was probably self defense! And...
  21. Don't forget the party bus incident. In the immortal words of Bear Bryant as he watched Forrest Gump. "He must be the stupidest son-of-a-B word alive. But he sure is fast!"
  22. A defensive playbook? It's been widely reported that Chip Kelly is very "hands off" when it comes to defense. Basically let's the DC do his thing and stays out of his way. And I don't remember hearing anything about Billy Davis using any kind of complicated scheme. Don't they use 3-4? Kiko was actually playing pretty well before his injury. Wouldn't be surprised to find out he's been playing through some pain after returning from injury too early. I remember reading some talk on the Eagles message board a couple of weeks ago about him possibly needing surgery after the season. Don't know if that was rumors or just fan speculation.
  23. lol. Yeah, poor Lesean. Just a sweet innocent victim of the big bad media. None of this is his fault. They made him act like a diva and make a bunch of stupid comments.
