  1. You got duped. If you don't see the little blue check mark next the name in twitter (indicating a verified account) then it's a fake. That's not the real Adam Caplan. Edit: Looks like you figured it out as I was posting.
  2. It's a qb driven league, no doubt about it. He did play well during the last half of the season though.
  3. You're once again back to thinking in terms of legal consequences when you should be worried about league/team consequences. They don't need legal charges to suspend one of their own players for deciding to get involved in a "bar brawl" and throwing punches at people. I really can't put it any simpler than that.
  4. Um, based upon the punch caught on video? You seem to have blocked that out of existence for the sake of telling yourself what you want to hear. Why do you think the team is preparing for him to be suspended? Because they know there's already enough there for a suspension to happen. And we all decided that it was the team who suspended Kromer, right? Hell, maybe the team plans on suspending him based on the video regardless of what the NFL and the DA decide. Seriously guys. It's not going to make you less of a fan by admitting that McCoy did something stupid and might get suspended for it. I promise.
  5. I don't view their rules any certain way. It's their rules, not mine.
  6. You're thinking in terms of legal consequences when you should be thinking in terms of NFL consequences. The video of the one punch is more than enough for Goodell and/or the team to make their own judgment. And they play by their own rules. If no video can get Kromer 6 games, a punch on video can definitely get a suspension. Apparently the team agrees with me since they're preparing for life without him for a while. Hilarious that some of you can't see that.
  7. Again. No video on Kromer, he pleaded not guilty, and charges were dropped. Still got 6 games. To think McCoy escapes suspension when there is video of a punch is, at best, naive. A lot of you act like that admitting a player did something wrong and will probably get suspended will somehow make you less of a fan or something. Weird.
  8. Was just about to comment on that. People seem to be arguing that McCoy now has to dodge a suspension from the NFL and the team. All while trying to convince themselves that he probably won't get suspended. Funny stuff.
  9. If memory serves, Kromer pleaded not guilty. At what point did this confession ever come?
  10. Punching other players on the field is one thing. Punching people out in public is a different kettle of fish. Even with no video and charges dropped, Kromer still got 6 games. I think you're just telling yourself what you want to hear at this point.
  11. It's foolish to think Good to see that they're operating on the assumption that he'll be suspended. It's foolish to think otherwise. Just based on the one punch alone caught on video, he'll get some games. And it's doubtful Goodell will be gullible enough to buy the story of Saint LeSean rushing in to save his friend from certain death and missing every punch he throws.
  12. Not sure hiding from the media is the look I'd want to be going for at this point if I'm McCoy's lawyer, but I guess he has his reasons. Probably worried that McCoy will lose his temper and say something stupid if he's cornered by the media.
  13. Hoodrat goes hoodrat, and immature punk goes immature punk. Not defending the woman at all in this. I just used that example of what a POS McCoy is. Someone asked, so I gave them the link. And let's be honest. The only reason you and others are defending McCoy is because of the uniform he currently wears. If he was a player for any other team, you'd be calling him a POS too. You know it, and I know it.

  15. What's the difference between putting your hands on a girl and ordering your bodyguard to do it for you? And let's not act like abandoning her on the jersey turnpike in the middle of the night, soaking wet, isn't the act of a punk either. And like I've said before about his little orgy party. The real face palm moment of that episode was when he used the bills logo on his invitations, and had to be told by the team like a dumbass that he couldn't do that. But the biggie with me was the whole twitter incident with the mother of his child. That really showed to me what a POS this guy really is.
  16. Huh? Is this something that's being talked about by people close to the investigation? Or is it just more internet message board / radio caller rumor type stuff being started by people trying to paint the cops as the bad guys?
  17. Uh oh. Sounds like we're sinking into the world of conspiracy theories now. I think some of you have seen one Oliver Stone movie too many. Obviously, the Men in Black showed up and wiped all their memories of the incident. Duh!
  18. "Fight" is a term that would suggest the exchanging of punches between two or more people engaged in physical combat. The video evidence we've seen doesn't suggest anything like that. So far, all we've seen is one guy at the bottom of pile getting beaten and kicked while others are trying to break it up and telling them to chill. And were any of them, from either side, really "drunk"? A lot of you are simply filling in the blanks with whatever helps you feel better about justifying McCoy's behavior. Geez. All that for a guy who has done nothing but pout about being here since stepping off the plane.
  19. I don't think anyone other than some Bills fans see it as an actual "fight", so I kinda doubt that.
  20. First person the Eagles signed after the trade was Byron Maxwell. CB from Seattle. Makes sense because that's where they needed the most help. Not exactly a lockdown corner, but he was the best available on the market. Couple of days later they signed both Ryan Matthews and Demarco Murray on the same day. So there you have it. For those of you hell bent on determining who can claim the coveted trade victory trophy, keep your eye on what they get out of those 3 guys (and Kiko) compared to what the Bills ultimately get out of McCoy.
  21. Not sure I understand what you're saying here. Are you saying the cops took booze that belonged to McCoy and his little posse?
