  1. I guess we'll see. I expect the Seahawks to whoop them like they whooped Denver.
  2. lol @ the gauge being off. First the weather thing. Then the NFL conspiring against the Patriots. Now gauges being off. Next:
  3. The Patriots won't win if they can't cheat. They can't cheat because they're under a microscope because it's the SB. Probably the same reason they were undefeated in 2007 and then lost in the Bowl to the Giants. The league supplies the balls for the SB.
  4. I'm not going anywhere. I just don't want to read his chit anymore.
  5. Nobody said being fined was the same as being blackballed. Someone asked if there were rules against criticizing the league. The answer is yes.
  6. I don't think they do either. They're starting to play dirty against each other.
  7. Whatever. It came up on a google search for "NFL criticism fines." I didn't bother looking at the title of the website. Fines for criticizing other NFL employees, the refs, are very real.
  8. So you're basically trying to prove that what one player claims isn't true by citing what another player claims?
  9. I think it's funny the league leaked it when the Patriots were on a plane heading to the SB, so they couldn't respond for a couple hours even if they wanted to. I'm starting to sense some bad blood between the league and the Pats, because that's a pretty dirty tactic. Combined with Robert Kraft's statements yesterday there definitely seems to be a rift in his and Goodell's relationship. Good point. I hadn't even considered that.
  10. 90 seconds seems fast, but I don't think the NFL would have leaked that information to the public unless it was significant.
  11. Yes, there are rules regarding expressing opinions of the league. Colin Kaepernick drew an in-game penalty and a fine from the league for criticizing Goodell in earshot of refs between plays while talking to Bears defensive end LaMarr Houston(http://theupfl.com/2014/09/kaepernick-fined-criticizing-goodell/). And we all know how often coaches get fined for criticizing refs.
  12. That game years ago that the Bills left the field even before the team could kick the extra point should have been investigated. Terrible call.
  13. Dear Blobert Kraft, This is what happens when you turn a blind eye to your head coach creating an atmosphere that cheating is acceptable. Reap it, B word. Best Regards, Mike
  14. Pegula will back Kraft if he decides to make an effort to push Goodell out of the league. He seemed enamored with the guy after he met him.
  15. It was a stretch in the first place for him to ask for examples when the Bills were punished by the league, because they don't cheat. If they did they wouldn't have sucked so much over the past 15 years.
  16. Hard to say. I definitely don't think the league will do anything to either of them(other than fines maybe) for what they've said/done so far, but I think Lynch is more in danger of being blackballed by teams because he's just acting like a brat. The golden cleats, the crotch grab, refusing to say anything to the media except "Thanks for asking" to every question. There's gotta be a point where teams just don't want to deal with that kind of crap. It's a distraction to the the rest of the team and bad press. Seattle is already expected to dump Lynch at the end of the season and he basically took them to the Superbowl this year. That's got to say a lot about what they think of his antics.
  17. I can probably name a dozen terrible game-losing calls made on the spot by officials that the league never investigated.
  18. The big question for me is "Was that kid supposed to be handling the balls(lol) at that moment? If that was the normal point of the routine for him to go get the balls from the official's locker room and bring them to the field, I'm skeptical he did anything more than go take a piss. If however he wasn't supposed to be taking them from the official's locker room or if the balls are normally brought out by an official or some other employee of the NFL, it's very suspicious.
  19. Maybe. But the point is that there's precedent to punish a coach for the actions of his staff even if he claims to be unaware.
  20. They don't have to prove Brady or Bellichick knew about it. BB is still responsible for his staff. They suspended NO's coach for a year for something he didn't know was going on.
  21. cue Bill bellichick press conference stating that he "has never gone to the bathroom so has no idea how long it takes" when asked by reporters why his ballboy took 25 minutes to take a leak in the bathroom with all the game balls right before kickoff.
