UPDATED: Tim Tebow, QB, Denver Broncos
Happy Days Lois & Clark replied to Kingfish's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Actually, it appears as if Tim Tebow would fit very well in Gailey's pistol offense -
Music to my ears!
Happy Days Lois & Clark replied to thewildrabbit's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Gaily has said recently that this is a QB driven league which may offset the article by Clark Judge -
Don't trade Marshawn
Happy Days Lois & Clark replied to Gotta Dream's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Is it more important to keep a trouble maker backup running back or is it better to get something in return that can become more of an asset for your team at another position? -
I think that John McCargo in his 4 seasons with Buffalo has proven to be an unreliable bust

Will Eric Wood walk again?
Happy Days Lois & Clark replied to 1B4IDie's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's in a boot, & he's walking already -
When the Miami Dolphins traded a fifth-round pick to the Kansas City Chiefs for quarterback Tyler Thigpen in late September, it didn't make a dent in the NFL landscape, except to those connoisseurs of interesting offensive formations. In 2008, the Coastal Carolina alum ran 359 of his 420 snaps from the shotgun formation for Kansas City, an extreme 85 percent, even for a league heading more to the shotgun every year. Kansas City's offensive ace in the hole last season was the Pistol formation, which offensive coordinator Chan Gailey superimposed on his struggling offense. Invented by Chris Ault of the Nevada Wolfpack, the Pistol is a short shotgun formation with a halfback behind the quarterback and an H-back or blocking fullback outside. It's an interesting way to apply wide-open concepts without losing the blocking stability that is so necessary in the NFL. http://forums.thephins.com/showthread.php?p=911651

I always defend WGR...
Happy Days Lois & Clark replied to ans4e64's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I love Bills talk & if someone else were hosting with Bulldog then I would listen more, but I have mostly stopped listening to wgr in the afternoon because I cannot stand Mike Schopp. I now turn on Brad Rider at 4pm. If he talks about the Bills or Sabres I'll keep him on otherwise I'll listen to something else such as my ipod or Sandy Beach or Shred & Ragen or the fan590 or sirius NFL Radio(that I share with coworkers) other radio stations for music. I will still listen to Howard & Jeremy in the morning to get my Bills/Sabres fix -
Cutler's agent (Bus Cook) in town
Happy Days Lois & Clark replied to a topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They are still talking about the situation on WECK 1230. They still are looking into more details. It could possibly be a trade for Cutler or Tony Scheffler -
Everette Brown on Sirius
Happy Days Lois & Clark replied to NY Nole's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
From the variety of thigs I've seen & heard I think that Everett Brown would be the Best player in the draft for the Bills to take at pick 11 with the exception of Aaron Curry The Bills need an impact pass rusher -
The Red Zone offense needs to get better again. The Quarterbacks have to a better job at hanging onto the football (too many fumbles) The offensive line needs to play more consistantly well. The Bills need to bring in a new & better starting Center. The Bills need better pass rush. Chris Kelsey is not worth the money he makes. A quality DE should be a top priority for the Bills in the offseason The Bills need a starting SLB. Bringing back Crowell for a 1 year deal at a reasonable price may be a good idea. The Bills could use better play at the TE position & more TD's. They certainly could use a more impact player there. The Bills will need a quality backup QB. Edwards cannot be counted on to stay healthy. An Upgrade at FB should be in the Bills plans this offseason Trent Edwards needs to throw the ball downfield more. He needs to keep defenses more honest. There needs to be more big plays instead of checking down over & over again. The offense needs play better against 3-4 defenses. They need to study why they struggle so much against 3-4 teams. The should look at films of teams that do well against the 3-4 & try to use that to improve. The defense needs to create more turnovers I love that the Bills special teams is excellent but i sometimes wonder if there are too many players on the team that are there specifically for special teams instead of offense or defense. Maybe getting a red zone specialist or adding a pass rushing specialist would help the team more instead of having so many special team specialists on the field

Kieth Ellison - 1 tackle
Happy Days Lois & Clark replied to Happy Days Lois & Clark's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe Johnny D could play SLB -
He has to solo tackles & 2 assists in 2 games. That is a problem. You need more production out of a starting linebacker. They made a bad move putting Crowell in the IR. This weakness at LB could really hurt the team down the line

He's on the Bills practice squad http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1178161392542447879

Kirwin & Ryan are so much better than Schopp & the Bulldog It's too bad they don't get more calls from Bills fans. They do a very good job of breaking down personnel & plays for listeners to have a better understanding about what is going on with their team
-
Kirwin & Ryan said they were out at camp & were not impressed with John Mccargo. They expect Spencer Johnson to be the first guy off the bench behind Marcus Stroud & Kyle Williams. Also they say that Marcus Stroud is a beast & was in the backfield all practice. He was taking on blockers easily 1 with each arm. He appears to be ready for a big season. They also liked the quick feet of the Bills LB's & said they already look in unison with each other. They were also impressed with the play calling of Poz , how he would check out of something & into something else. They were impressed with Derek Fines blocking but were not impressed with the Bills TE's as a unit. Courtney Anderson appears to be the odd man out right now & could end up getting cut They were impressed with the Bills CB's except for possibly McKelvin. They felt Reggie Corner looked better than McKelvin but said that McKevin would get better in time. They were very impressed with Jabari Greer & said he would not give up his starting job easily. The also mentioned that William James is a big phyical corner who was giving Bills WR's fits getting off the line of scrimmage. They mentioned that Parrish took McKelvin to School today turning him inside out.

Edwards is still not getting the ball downfield enough & is checking down too quickly before alot of plays can develop. Losman still is waiting too long for plays to develop downfield & isn't checking down quick enough
