    We have not gotten the full story, and today's move makes me even more curious about what happened.

    No he's not a slam dunk, but I find it hard to believe EJ could beat him out in an open competition. So, I object to not trying to improve depth at the QB position in an attempt to preserve the confidence of a dubious starter.

    He would never go on the record that any Bills QB was definitely not the answer. I'd be curious what his private opinion is.

    Huh? He had success right away, so nobody questioned him when things went south. And anyway, he made the super bowl and 2 title games over this period, so he didn't "just" make the playoffs either.

    So? Cowher made the playoffs his first six seasons as HC. It's not like they kept trusting him in the face of terrible results.

    Seems that way. So there will always be a group of young men who don't want to be in WNY no matter what, but it's pretty obvious that organizational quality is a factor for other teams on the list.
