  1. Welcome to 2023, in which everything bad that happens must be explained by a wacko conspiracy theory.
  2. At halftime Richard Sherman said something similar. He said that the Broncos receivers just weren't getting open, leaving Russell Wilson nowhere to throw. He added that he couldn't see why anyone would trade for them (Jeudy/Sutton) since they weren't getting open against man-to-man coverage. At least you can throw Sutton open as we saw on the great TD catch. Jeudy doesn't even have that ability. Keep away.
  3. Just because I'd like Tyrod to clearly outplay Daniel Jones. Hey, maybe 14 of those are garbage time points! Go Tyrod (always liked the guy) and Go (even more) Bills!
  4. I'd like to see Tyrod play, and play well. And I'd like to see the Bills win 42-24.
  5. They're so bad on offense that even if they get the first pick I wouldn't be surprised if Caleb pulled an Eli and refused to play for them. He could always stay at USC one more year. And that's how much things have changed in Foxborough.
  6. Kyle out-arroganted Rex?
  7. You mean the form in which it is so poorly written that no one knows what the hell he's doing?
  8. Revisionist history: BIDEN is now the #1 Saudi ass kisser. Nevermind Trump's entire agenda.
  9. Same here. And I noticed the same thing with my kids. The anti-bullying thing has been internalized by them now. I don't hear about kids who are different being bullied. One of the families we know well has a younger kid on the autism spectrum. They never mentioned her being bullied. Most of the other kids went out of their way to be supportive. This is a good development.
  10. Again: I have no idea what this means. Drunk? High?
  11. From the linked site on Mania. Hmm, how many of these apply to Trump? Elevated Mood A hallmark of mania is feelings of euphoria or elevated mood.1 Mood disturbances must be present for at least one week. Decreased Need for Sleep - CHECK. See all those 2 a.m. tweets, err "Truths" During a manic episode, a person may feel like they need much less sleep than usual or no sleep at all.1 This can be harmful, as sleep is an essential function of the mind and body. Being Engaged in Many Activities at Once - CHECK. Classic short attention span. High energy levels can cause someone who is manic to engage in several goal-directed activities.3 It is often not realistic to accomplish them and they may have trouble with follow-through. Talking Loudly and Quickly - CHECK. Can't shut up, always yelling for no good reason. - Pressured speech or talking more and louder than usual can be a sign of mania.1 It might seem like someone’s mind is moving faster than their mouth, and they are having difficulty expressing their thoughts. Easily Distracted - CHECK. Just see what his former Cabinet members say. Inability to concentrate and focus on a thought or task can be a frustrating aspect of mania.1 Increased Risk-Taking Behavior - CHECK. Hey, I think I'll do that pr0n star! While manic, a person may engage in high-risk behaviors such as gambling, sexual encounters, spending money, or misusing alcohol or other substances, despite their potential negative consequences.3 Increased Desire for Sex - CHECK. See above. Mania can intensify thoughts about sex or engaging in sexual activity, particularly condomless sex with multiple sex partners.3 Flight of Ideas - CHECK. Actually READ the transcript of one of those 90 minute rally speeches and try to follow his stream of consciousness rants A person's speech can become increasingly disorganized. Someone who is manic may bounce from topic to topic.1 Racing Thoughts Similar to flight of ideas, a person can have difficulty focusing on or expressing a thought.3 Grandiosity - CHECK. "I alone can fix it." During mania, an individual may feel an inflated sense of self-importance or exaggerated self-confidence. They may feel they are particularly powerful or talented.3
  12. Every manic out there speaks for 90 minutes nonstop. Do you actually listen to what he's saying?
  13. Note the topic here - Trump's Cult. Here we have a religious gathering that has decided that Trump is ordained by God to lead us. To fight a cabal of sex trafficking elites. Oh, you say, religious nuts gonna religious nut. Trump has nothing to do with that. Except he sent his daughter-in-law to that gathering, and it's not as if she disavowed the messianic tone. It is a cult.
  14. I have no idea what you're talking about.
  15. In other words, QAnon. And Trump's daughter-in-law is there supporting this crap.
  16. Like I said, it's a lawyer's argument. One that is problematic to make from a PR perspective, but not a bad hairsplitting distinction.
  17. Putting on my objective lawyer hat ... it's actually not a bad argument! His lawyers are arguing that the insurrection clause wasn't meant to apply to the President. In support of that argument, they're saying the insurrection clause, by its own terms, applies only to those who took an oath to "support" the constitution. But the "support" language isn't there in the Presidential oath of office. Hence (the argument goes) this supports the theory that it was never intended to apply to the President. I'll grant you this: it's an awkward, even embarrassing argument to have to make (you're basically saying, "so what if Trump's actions didn't support the constitution"), but on a purely legal basis, kind of clever ...
  18. Trump and Netanyahu previously had a mutual love thing. Here's 2019, when Trump recognized Israel's annexation of the Golan Heights: WASHINGTON — Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu compared President Trump to Cyrus the Great, Lord Balfour and Harry S. Truman — historic giants who helped secure the future of the Israeli people. Mr. Trump called Mr. Netanyahu a “very special man.” I wonder what changed Trump's opinion ....
  19. Say what you will about his age/competency. The facts: Biden has faced two major international crises in his presidency: the Ukraine invasion and the Hamas mass terrorist attack in Israel. He has handled both of them as effectively as anyone could.
  20. With Trump everything is transactional. Netanyahu was among the first to congratulate Biden for "winning" in 2020. That is an unforgivable sin. The childishness of this 77 year old will never cease to amaze.
  21. True. I guess times have changed. From Kim's wiki page: while interviewing for a waitressing gig, she met Terry Pegula who was dining at the restaurant. In 1991, Terry offered her a job at his natural gas company and they eventually entered a relationship; they married in 1993.
  22. In other words, you've got nuthin It's just fun to blame Biden
  23. You don't even need to go to the scripture. The 1988 Hamas Charter says it all (from the wiki page): The charter states that "our struggle against the Jews is very great and very serious" and calls for the eventual creation of an Islamic state in Palestine, in place of Israel and the Palestinian Territories,[3] and the obliteration or dissolution of Israel.[4][5] It emphasizes the importance of jihad, stating in article 13, "There is no solution for the Palestinian question except through Jihad. Initiatives, proposals and international conferences are all a waste of time and vain endeavors."[6] The charter also states that Hamas is humanistic, and tolerant of other religions as long as they "stop disputing the sovereignty of Islam in this region".[7] The Charter adds that "renouncing any part of Palestine means renouncing part of the religion [of Islam]".[1] The original charter was criticized for its violent language against all Jews, which some commentators characterized as incitement to genocide.[8][9] They tried to tone it down a bit around 2010, but they still will not accept the State of Israel. In other words, Hamas - an entity dedicated to the elimination of Israel - controls Gaza and its "army," a terrorist army. Obviously in retrospect, when Hamas was elected by the people of Gaza to run its government, Israel should have taken immediate action to stop that from happening.
  24. I'm not sure what any of that would do to actually aid Israel now. There may indeed be Intel failures on our part as well as on Israel's part, but now is not the time to be airing all of that. Biden came out strongly, unequivocally in support of Israel. That was the right thing to do at this critical moment. Everything else (money) can follow.
