  1. I can't disagree with any of those points though.

The Patriots also played us twice; once in bad passing weather (which is more wind related than snow related) and once in decent passing weather.

The game in bad passing weather (higher winds) was MUCH closer.

This is also probably because both teams were at different levels of competency (and to be fair, motivation) at those points.

I actually hope it does snow, because in most of the snow games I've watched over the years, the advantage goes to the offense - whether a runner with a ball, or route running prior. It's a lot easier to get separation on a semi-slick surface when you are the one deciding when to change direction. It's a lot harder for the defender to change direction as a reaction. Sure, that goes for a RB too, but if the game comes down to their RBs making a cut and beating one defender in an area where there are usually (hopefully?) two more in close proximity and within 4-7 yards of the LOS vs. a receiver making a cut to catch a ball 15-20 yards downfield...I'll take the receiver over the RB all day (and twice on Saturday.)

  2. Even in Thurman's MVP season he didn't win Offensive Player of the Week as many times as JA17.

They both won Player of the Month twice though.

Oh, by the way, that QB we all wished we got in 2012 (instead of super receiver TJ Graham)...Russell Wilson?

He just got his first and only NFC Offensive Player of the Month this past September.

Which he will. WFT will go on to win the following two weeks, only to suffer a blowout loss to the Bills in the Super Bowl.

I couldn't care less about playing Brady or not.

I do NOT want to play WFT.

Are you not aware of the indian burial ground curse of AFC East vs NFC East in Super Bowls?

    Bills - Giants (AFCE loss)

    Bills - Washington (AFCE loss)

    Bills - Dallas  (AFCE loss)

    Bills - Dallas  (AFCE loss)

    Patriots - Giants  (AFCE loss)

    Patriots - Giants  (AFCE loss)

I mean, what's up with that? Even when the AFCE team was *clearly* the better team (at least twice, and probably three times if you look at both Pats games) they lost.

Does anyone know where I can watch the full Bills Dolphins replay?  Sunday Ticket already has all the content down.  There are a couple plays that I am trying to review (not big highlights.)  Any ideas?

Not sure if we're allowed to put a link to another fan forum here, so remove if necessary.

I used to post these here as well, but one of the mods has a problem with it, and since I only do this for my fellow deployed fans, I didn't want to upset the board mods, so I quit. That is why I'll put the other site's post up rather than the link to my site specifically.

P.S. it has the full game for most of the weeks as well as the "40-minute/condensed version" too.

You need clarification on which game the Bills played against Houston last year? I don't know how to respond to that other than I'm sorry for everything you have been through.

The game that the Bills played better than Houston in, had a touchdown taken away because some mysterious rules arbiter outside the stadium basically felt that the Bills were stomping the Texans badly enough it wouldn't matter anyway, went to overtime, and ended up with the Texans a sub .500 team and the Bills competing for the championship the next year?

If that's your definition of "breaking a team's will" I want some more of it.

My wife and I had the opportunity to travel to Italy a few years ago (Pordenone region), we would love to go back--so much we didn't see. What airport should we fly into?

Right now - none, unfortunately. The region I'm in (Veneto)  is "orange to red" through 6 JAN, and possibly longer.

On the off chance you're seriously asking, of course it depends on where you're trying to get to. Let me know.

Because in this forum when people present false information as fact, it usually does not end well for them.

And I was wrong. It's Saturday at 1PM.

I guess I won't trust the information provider next time.

Why would you come across as knowing you have inside info about the date and time of a game?

    Lame.

I can remove it if it's causing that much angst.

Obviously I can't guarantee it, but I wouldn't post it if I didn't have a good reason to believe it.

I've been a member for > seven years here, with a fairly low post count. Why would I choose now to make a statement for attention?

I have faith that the information I was given is correct, and am passing it along.

I'll qualify this by saying it comes from a Bills employee, albeit prior to the end of the Titans game.

That didn't seem to be a factor.

    So no, I'm not retracting.

Do I have to tattoo BillsMafia on both cheeks if I'm wrong?

What do I get if I'm right?

Has Taylor looked better? I know his stats improved but he didn’t look that explosive early in the year. Their 3rd down back looked better.

Keep them in check, let Phillip implode.

He just set the Colts' single-game rushing record (not bad for a team that's had the Edge, Faulk, and Eric Dickerson.)

Went over 1,100 yards on the year - and much of that recently. He's hot.

Weaving through would-be tacklers like a cross between Barry Sanders and a couch potato

Every week you have one or two quotes that make me spit up my drink.

As funny as that one was, I think a more accurate cross would be between Barry Sanders and a rhinoceros.

In all seriousness, he might be a good choice for a 3-yard gotta have it TD. He's big and could get low, bend, and make the one cut to the hole needed for that play that's just a bit too long for a QB sneak.

Thank you Directv and NBC/Tenga (spelling) and whatever the situation is between you.  🤨

Unless it is going to be broadcast on some other channel for some other reason, but I doubt it.

I’m hoping to stream on the big scream, though, from maybe nfl network.

    EDIT:

the antenna works great.  Can’t rewind or record, but picture is great.

The situation still bugs me.  Mods, please feel free to lock or remove this thread.

    Edit:

please, if someone wouldn’t mind posting the re-airing time of the game on NFL network when it comes up, so those of us in this situation can record it for review.

    thank you in advance.

    Go Bills!

FWIW, I still put replays of the games on my site.

  13. In retrospect, it just gave the Bills another ~39 seconds of time off the clock since they had to run one more play to get the next first down.

Seeing as they only had to use three of their last four downs to run out the clock, it was moot  - and certainly if they had been stopped on the next play it would have been bad.

But I've often wondered if it doesn't make more sense some times to stop *just* short of the marker so you can get another play in and run more time and then get the first and three/four more plays.

Similar to getting tackled at the 12/13 vice the 8/9 yard lines. More room to run plays, and the opportunity for another set of downs if the TD isn't quite achievable.

The Rockpile Review – by Shaw66

    “Tough”

1...The win mathematically eliminated the New England Patriots from the AFC East race.  Two dogs with one stone!

    6.  ...the real point was that Edmunds was in position and made the tackle.

I liked the bolded part (Steelers being the bulldog, while the Patriots are more akin to late-rabies afflicted Old Yeller who was put down so we could all get the mercy of not hearing about how they "aren't dead yet".)

I thought the same thing when they showed the Edmunds tackle on JuJu.

One: our 14 ran through two would-be tacklers at the same point from the endzone and scored.

Two: Juju was full on headed to score and our MLB made a one-on-one dead stop tackle.

Three: As JA17 said, let them (Juju specifically) dance all they want, whether on the Bills logo or a few yards from the endzone. We're here to work.

  15. I don't care what excuse you give.

-It's pre-recorded and has been the same every week since "The Fastest Three Minutes in Television" started on Sunday Night Football in 1987...

-They opened with and highlighted the Sunday Night game results

-NBC doesn't give ESPN the rights to show details

    Whatever.

The only real answer is no one thinks the Bills are any good or deserve any credit.

That's clear when you watch every other show. No one ever talks about the Bills being good or Josh Allen, and all they do is trash Buffalo.

Even the clips of the Christmas decorations along the bridge, and the lights in the Falls were short.

And the Buffalo wings they showed were yucky, and just off screen there was a big bottle of ranch dressing.

I don't think Keyshawn watches NFL football.

I finally watched this, and I can't say I agree.

Not a Keyshawn fan since his Jets days,  but he says that Josh is in the conversation for great young quarterbacks but not at the Aaron Rogers/Mahomes level yet.

He then goes on to add "to me...some would say I don't know what I'm talking about. He's not there yet, but he's certainly headed in that direction, leading the charge."

He follows that up by saying the smartest thing the Bills did, and mentions GM Brandon Beane, was trade for Stefon Diggs.

I was actually more impressed by him than most. He knew the players, he knew the history, he knew the stats, and wasn't reading from a cue card. And his comments about JA17 seem on point to me. Is he playing at an Aaron or Mahomes level right now - yeah. So was Wentz for a while. Can we say he's Aaron or Mahomes level - nope. He still has to show continuity and as much as hate using wins and losses or playoff performance as a metric, they count when you're debating the best of the best.
