Unfortunately, the only action will be taken this week, and it will be pointless fines that these particular well-paid players won't even notice. Maybe if the kicking in the head thing is obvious there might be some potential for a suspension...but I didn't even catch that from my vantage (which is actually pretty perfect to see that all unfold, down near that goal line on the Bills side). You miss a lot of details in person. You see some things with amazing clarity, but you just can't take it all in on every play. And you definitely don't get any info from the PA system or replays.

If the Bills PA system were to be "unplugged", I don't think anyone would notice.

Idk why everyone is hung up on ‘it was the giants’…I don’t care who it was…their front 7 absolutely obliterated us to levels no other team that is supposedly way better on paper has this year.  You plug any other qb in there not named mahomes and they have absolutely no shot at making any of those drive extending plays last night.  Not sure it’s even debatable.  I mean, y’all can continue with the ‘you don’t think anyone else can score on the giants’ shtick but that is very clearly not what I meant 😂.

Idk if it was Daboll knowing our OL tendencies or the giants defense finally not being on the field for 45 minutes or what but they absolutely roasted us up front. Dexter Lawrence has unquestionably been a beast all season though so idk how ridiculously surprising it is

there were also quite a few loooong drives for both teams in this one.  Normally the giants go instantly three and out lol we got 9 total drives in this one

people sayin geno scored on the giants why couldn’t the bills should probably review the stat line from that game…pretty much the entire Seahawks offensive output came on one busted coverage with lock at qb…Seahawks had even less total yardage than us on two more drives.  Cowboys had less total yardage than us also in their 40-0 win if you can believe that 🤣. Dak was 13/24 for 143 yards.  They did a decent job against tua…he just cracked 300 yards but he turned it over twice.

The giants offense has been what is losing them games..  they have been historically awful up until

this game.  Everything snowballs for them because they are a blitz heavy team and their guys gas out when their offense goes three and out ten times in a row.  I think the Daniel jones injury really helped them out,  tyrod is the kind of qb they need.  He will not make a mistake leading to a sudden change for his defense and he’s got more mobility than jones

The Giants played a very inspired game the other night.  Giants fans said it was their best effort this season.  The Giants D line caused all kinds of pressure on the Bills oline and on Allen.  Allen did a nice job of not getting sacked.  I'll be curious to see Giants play going forward.  Are they getting it together or was that a one off.  FWIW, Dawkins, McGovern, and Brown had bad PFF grades for this game.

Is there a reliable source on that? The Commanders are 3-3 and they play the still banged up and not-so-good Giants and if they win that game will likely head into the trade deadline 4-4 or 5-3 if they upset the Eagles. Not sure why they would firesale their best defensive players? Maybe if the Giants pull an upset and they lose to the Eagles they will take calls at 3-5 but that's a long ways away from happening.

Washington declined the 5th yr option on Chase Young.  He's been injured a fair amount.  A free agent after the season.  Montez Sweat is a bit of a surprise but Jonathan Allen has been their most consistent DL guy.

    Eye test >>> passing stats

joe burrow is a true pocket passer. He can beat you with his mind and arm better than Allen. Burrow can go deep , intermediate and short with much better accuracy , anticipation and clutch play

allen is better w his legs

It’s not by much. Sort of like Big Ben (Allen) vs Troy Aikman (burrow). But burrow is better. Dude doesn’t get phased at ALL. No defense spooks him

    stop being a homer

If Burrow played for the Bills, he probably be out of the league now with the OL Allen has had.

Murray should get even more carries and targets in the passing game. He's massive and has good acceleration through the hole

He's 33 and I think they're trying to pace him so he's available for the entire season.

  6. I listened to Daboll's post game presser.  Usual stuff but some of the comments were interesting. Quite a few fans thought this was best game by Giants this year.  Played with heart, energy, and effort.  Also fans were saying Taylor is better than Jones and want Taylor to keep playing.  I think Bills got Giants "A" game.  Bills offense is definitely off these past two games.  Hopefully they can get back on track this week.  I thought defense played pretty well considering the loss of 3 starters.

Yeah, so far this year his hands have been ok.  He had one or two drops that were drive killers but other than that he has been mostly catching the stuff that he should. I can't even really blame him for the fumble.  I was pissed when that happened but since then, I have seen a video replay and the defender punched him in the head.  Hard enough that his head twisted to the limits.  Even still, he is one trick pony and this offense needs more than that.

I can fault him for the fumble.  Ball was in wrong hand and only one hand.  He had 3 Giants around him.  He needed to protect the ball better.  I thought that was a big play early on in the game.  Gave Giants life and it killed a promising Bills drive.

I hear what you are saying but I have to ask these questions and be critical of some decisions

Do you think it was a mistake to go into the season with Davis as the WR2? Same for Spencer Brown? I mean the evidence was there to see neither guy was likely up to the task.

The run game is still inconsistent and the use of Cook as a pass receiver is non existent. The Bills have decided to tie Allen's legs together so he doesn't run. That makes the Bills much less dangerous to defend. I get you don't want him to get injured. If that's the case he shouldn't pass because that's how QBs mostly get injured.

Hard to believe the offense is a work in progress. It's mostly due to incompetence by the coaching staff. They have had all off season and six games to figure things out. I mean how long does it take? What the identity of the offense? I have no clue. 12 personnel seems awful ineffective and non explosive. The run still gets abandoned or is ineffective. Runs between the tackles in shotgun formation are mostly ineffective but Dorsey still pounds that drum. The offense is predictable. The saving grace is Allen and his ability to make plays. A perfect example was the TD pass to Quinton.

You pay Knox all that money to block? How good use of salary is that? How effective does that stretch defenses in 22 personnel?

I have little confidence Dorsey will figure things out. This offense goes only as far as Allen takes it. He will need to be Superman once again. A common occurrence for years now.

They need to get Cook involved in the pass game.  It's a long season and they don't want Allen running around yet.  Regarding Davis and Brown, I think the Bills had too many holes to fill this offseason.  A WR would have been nice but they were off the board so Bills took Kincaid.  I believe Kincaid will be good.  They drafted Torrence and signed McGovern to shore up IOL and they drafted Dorian Williams to replace Edmunds.  These picks/decisions were higher priorities over replacing Brown.  The Bills have quite a few new faces on offense, you know who they are.  It takes awhile for it all to gel.  Bills aren't the only team figuring things out.  Chiefs are 5 - 1 but they're not an offensive juggernaut right now.  I think Davis will be another Edmunds situation.

I'm calm. The general theme for months on this board was how Kincaid was going to be a huge asset, spread out the defense, catch passes in the seam, be a weapon, take over the WR2, and basically be a slit player.

The general theme of what you are saying was not the consensus here. The tune has changed. The goalposts have moved for the worst.

Heck, Beane even talked about his skillet. The Bills 12 personnel sets aren't scaring any defenses. I envisioned a completely different version on what's happening. I was hoping for a Patriot like offense

(Gronk and Hernandez). Instead, we see Knox blocking and of going off for 5 yard catches. Same for Kincaid. It's a joke man.

Dorsey doesn't know what he's doing. McD is head deep in the defense. He offers zero to the offensive side of the ball.

This team has no offensive identity. The offensive is very good because of Allen and Diggs. That's it in a nutshell.

I think the Bills are still figuring things out offensively.  Their running game is much better and they're getting much better running production in the red zone this year.  Brown is still a weak link so Knox stays in and blocks a Lot.  Kincaid is just a rookie but he's catching pretty much everything thrown his way.  Need to upgrade Davis in off-season.

Too many bad things happen when the ball comes his way.  Drops, fumbles, trips-and-falls, surprisingly uncontested interceptions.  He is a black hole who sucks points out of the offense.  His teammates and coaches love him but Beane had better be sober in his evaluation of that position.  It’s a huge need.  Lost in this daily insufferable “Is Davis a Number 2?” debate is the reality that if Diggs were to miss any time, the offense would fall off a cliff because Davis would be completely unable to step up and fill the void - one of the underrated aspects of being a true “number 2” receiver.

But these daily Davis threads make me want to go take a number two.

It's still early in the season, but I'd put WR at the top of draft needs.  I think Davis is Edmunds part deux.

The problem isn't that Gabe isn't a #2 WR.  The problem is that there is no one catching passes outside of him and Diggs.  If we had a slot WR or TE who caught lots of underneath stuff and ran the seam once in a while (like Beasley used to) then we wouldn't be so focused on Davis catching 90 passes being more like Diggs.  We need a chain mover and Davis isn't a chain mover therefore it must be Davis's fault, except it isn't.

  12. I'm gonna wait and see how these next 2 games go against the Pats and Bucs.  Bills receiving threats are pretty much the same as last year with Kincaid out.  He doesn't have many catches, but Kincaid opens things up for other receivers.  I thought Dorsey waited too long to switch things up.

Davis' fumble was a killer.  It killed a drive at Giants 44 and led to Giants FG.  Bills were moving the ball and it's inexcusable for him to fumble.

I would like to know what by definition is tripping in the NFL rules because the two times in the first quarter when Josh went deep our receivers were tripped and they didn't bat an eyelash.

The Davis play - the refs aren't going to call that one.  Guys getting their feet caught won't draw a penalty.  The second one seemed like a penalty but I haven't looked at it again.  Tripping is usually called around the LOS where an OL or DL deliberately sticks his leg out in front of an opponent.

  14. Dorsey needed to switch to run game sooner.  Davis' fumble early on gave the Giants a boost.  Giants coaching staff has quite a few former Bills coaches which I believe gave the Giants an edge in game planning and preparation.  The Giants aren't going anywhere this season but played a spirited game and wanted this game badly.

I noticed the man to man right away from the stands. It worked so well because Gabe couldn't get open. Diggs was bracketed a lot and Josh missed a few throws.

58 for the Giants was making some great plays and Adoree Jackson is a good corner. The fact we have a good running game saved us. Murray and Torrance have been the best pickups in years

Bobby Okereke 58 was flying all over the field

Of course, I agree. But changing our scheme to match the level of talent must be done to ensure the best possibility of contention for those that are thrust into positions of play.

How this staff thought we had a capable backup in Williams blows my mind. Maybe he will get there but the dude was LOST.

True Williams didn't look good, missed a couple of tackles, and was benched.  Bernard looked terrible last year when he played.  Hopefully Williams will learn quicker than Bernard because we need it.
