  1. does that idiot clayton even watch any football?  strong finish by drew?  you mean that "strong finish" against the steelers' 2nd and 3rd stringers in a must win situation?

someone who REALLY knows a little something about the bills, vic carucci, was on sirius NFL radio today talking about how it makes perfect sense for the bills to cut bait w/ bledsoe.  the "pittsburgh model" w/ big ben has given them confidence that with a great defense, special teams, and running game they can put losman in a position to succeed early on.

It's not too far-fetched to talk about a strong finish with Drew. If we had one that one game I bet you the opinion on this board would be far different. Of course that loss is enough to make me jump off of the SS. Bledslow instead of continuing the course on it.

  2. i heard that segment, i even sent a question to john clayton asking him if we should go with losman or we could address the qb situation in free agency but i dont know if they read it cuz they cut the show off and put a hockey talk show

im fed up of this stupid strike

Usually you can listen to shows again after they are over on ESPNRadio.com. Just go to the page for the particular show and click on the listen to it link.

  3. Ok, I'm throwing in my two cents:

Virginia safety Marquis Weeks regarding his success returning kickoffs: “It’s instinctive ... sort of like running from the cops.”

Speaking of which, what was the name of that WR we had that drafted in the 7th round a few years ago who kept on getting in trouble with the law? I remember BB.com used to interview players and ask questions like who's always late to meetings and his name was always given.

  4. It's just amazing how when you watch other teams how much more second tier receivers are more involved in the offense than they are with the Bills. The Steelers and the Patriots are obvious examples that come to mind. Unfortunately it's hard to tell whether the problem is that Bledsoe locks in on certain receivers more or if we actually suck in this area.

  5. No the writeup posted was for the whole thing.  It is about 1000 for driver side and 1000 for passenger, but they say about half the time the passenger side airbag will bust the windshield so add 400 for each time it breaks, or 200 per accident.  Hence 1000 average to install the driver side and 1200 average cost for the passenger side.

Maybe that's how the windshield got busted. It certainly is limited to that side of the car.

  6. $1000 each on average.  The most expensive cars are only about 2400-3000 max.

Yeah the car is only worth 2500-3000 on edmunds.com, so I guess they are likely to think it's totalled at this point. I have a high deductible of about 800 or so dollars and my sister crashed this car a couple of years ago so there already is a high insurance rate on top of the high rate for my age.

  7. I just got into a little bit of an accident this morning, spinning off of a road and took some damage the car including the air bags deploying. It looks like the air bags and a cracked windshield are all that I got, but since I never have had the air bags deployed and haven't had an estimate yet, I was wondering if people had an idea on how much fixing the airbags usually cost and any advice on things to be cautioned about when getting them fixed as well.

  8. We need to get something decent for Henry and Shelton is a proven player.

We need OL help, and even more so if we don't resign Jennings.

    Just a thought................................

When was the last time a trade was made involving players for players as the main component? I think salary cap rules discourage this.

  9. My question has always been: of all of the religions in the world, AT MOST one can be "right". What makes you believe yours is that one.

One can be right or many can be right about some things. Any philosophy can be wrong whether it be religious or otherwise. Religious people don't have a monopoly on taking something on faith.

  10. Skydome is NOT an NFL facility...only seats 50,000.  Take into account the generally weak CDN dollar, and you wonder why Toronto is so important?  (Not to metion Mexico...the peso is even worse!)  Every other sport has problems with US/CDN dollar issues, not to mention players not wanting to play in Canada.  Why is the NFL even entertaining the idea?

Besides Toronto would have to build a new stadium to even make it work.  Start worrying when you hear that story!

I agree, scary robot. They have their own league anyway. What gives the NFL the right to destroy it?

And Mexico...????? I am sure every free agent will be wanting to join a franchise there...

  11. Commish Tag-a-boo-boo now wants to play regular season games in Mexico and Canada.  Cardinals and Bills are mentioned as candidates.  Canada also mentioned as a future expansion area.  (weak Canadien dollar be damned, eh?)

You have the Cardinals playing before more empty seats than fans.  Jacksonville has to cover up seats just so they can have a chane to sell out.  Why the f*** are the Bills always mentioned as a candidate to move?  Don't we sell out our games?

It's bullsh*t.  Keep your freakin's hands off our team.

What were they thinking expanding to Jacksonville. If they had simply expanded into Baltimore or St. Louis back then, we would probably have a team in LA or not have had the Browns fiasco.

  12. I think it's NewenGland, the NJ JESTS, and Seattle.

Everyone knows Boston's fans are a bunch of dirtbags and will not support that team once it starts losing again - and folks, it's inevitable.

The JESTS are the only NFL franchise that doesn't have their own stadium. They are looking to build one in Manhattan but MSG/Cablevision offered to pay $600 million for the proposed site and develop apartments there. The JESTS offer was about $125 million. They could make the move to LA and the Jints would be happy. The NY media would be too. One more storied franchise lost to California - LA Dodgers, SF Giants, LA JESTS. It fits.

Seattle doesn't deserve an NFL team. They're just too close to a rain forest. Rain forest? What's up with THAT? There are no rain forests in the NFL!  :D

Arizona, Indianapolis and San Diego all have stadium deals, I am pretty certain. Here's an article on the Colts deal: http://www.fortwayne.com/mld/journalgazett...ts/10459322.htm

This article mentions Arizona's new stadium: http://www.eastvalleytribune.com/index.php?sty=35933

Don't know what the third team would be but I guess we would be talking about Minnesota, New Orleans. In reality, the NFL should be thinking of moving Jax. Their fan support really sucks.
