I understand, just didn't want any rapid liberals to pounce and make this into something it's not.
Also let's not forget St. Doug also jumped shipped because he didn't believe the Pegulas had a clue. And even though he paid the price having to work as an assistant a few years in Jax he's about to be vindicated in a major way and proved he was right about them.
Bottom line, the Pegulas appear to be terrible sports franchise owners and not sure how they can continue to sell the fanbases of each respective franchise no matter how much money they continue to burn and throw around.
Those rapid liberals are the worst. They move far too briskly for my taste.

Not buying it to be honest.
10 days rest they had before this saints game. They just got owned plain and simple in my opinion
The number of days you had to rest prior to a game doesn't really change the fatigue that happens in game from having to go back in series after series when your offense goes 3 and out over and over again.
There's certainly plenty of blame to go around for a loss like this, and the D does not get off the hook for playing like crap just because Tyrod and the offense put them in a bad spot. But the OP's point is correct. It's fatiguing and also demoralizing for a defense to have to go in over and over again after 3 and outs.
When I played in college, we had a great defense and a mediocre (at best) offense. It definitely wears on you physically and mentally when the offense can't move the ball. You don't even need them to score all the time, but you do need some drives to get a break and not have your backs against the wall with field position every time you go out there.

During garbage time, when NO was nursing a 34 point, I wouldn't read too much into Peterman's performance. Could be completely different if Peterman started from minute 1 in the first quarter.
Taylor also had several drives in garbage time, and couldn't do anything more than check it down helplessly.

8-8 best case scenario, worst case 6-10. Right where the Bills like to be.

I said before the season that if we lost 3 in a row at any point, that would likely be the end of tyrod. Still think that's true. He gets another shot next week. If we lose that, he should be benched. If he wins, he gets 2 more.

Would love for Peterman to start but we all know that’s not happening.

I know .............. the idea that they'd say the defense can't give up 40 first downs and expect us to win. Insane. The idea that he can't rescue every drive from the negative runs, penalties and dropped passes ............. also insane.
Defense can be horrible and Tyrod can be horrible at the same time. Both of these things can both coexist in the same universe. Tyrod Taylor is trash.

will be interesting to watch the Tyrod lovers try and spin his play today. rapidly running outta excuses. u cant cover up the poor play from the most important position on the field all year long. just brutal to watch.
They’ll latch onto the defense’s poor performance and try to allocate all blame there. “Tyrod would have done fine if not for the D blowing it.”

Another nice 3rd and long surrender check down by tyrod. Offensive scheme still trying to get as creative as possible to work around his inability to just throw to routes downfield.

After watching what the Jets did to our O line, I'm not so sure. Benjamin isn't a speed guy and any big play to him will take time to develop. The Jets may have provided a blue print for every team we have left to play. Even with Benjamin, this team lacks some serious speed at the WR position.
Gotta just heave it up there and trust him to go up and get it with his great size and hands. Tyrod is going to have to throw to him even when he's covered, which he really does not like to do. I hope they're coaching him up on that.

For Luck? Will he ever be healthy?
IF they pull off this stunt
I have 1 demand
Shave the neck beard.
Honestly I'm surprised a torn labrum has been this tough for him. That injury is only bad because they have to cut through the rotator cuff to fix the labrum, so that has to heal too. That surgery, especially with the doctors available to NFL stars, is not like a knee or something that could give a lot of lingering problems down the road. I would expect luck to bounce back fine from it. Surprised it's take this long, but it shouldn't be a problem next year.

It sounds so easy when put like that! But what Billsy way will we find to mess it up?
Losing games we should win. Something like this: dominating a whole game vs the pats, missing repeated chances on offense to put the foot on their throat and go up two scores, only being up 6, and letting in that go ahead TD (to chris hogan) with 3 min left. Offense comes back out to get sacked twice and peter away a win.

Secondary is fine, although I think the jury is still out on Gaines simply because he can't stay healthy so we have to make a decision on resigning him or replacing him.
But the front seven still needs work. This might be KW last season and even if it's not we need a true beast in the middle of the line since Dareus obviously wasn't going to be that guy here. Lawson has been solid in run defense but doesn't appear to be a disruptive force as a pass rusher.
LB though is the main issue, while Zo Alexander is still solid as a pass rusher hes' no spring chicken and we need a better coverage guy. Milano has shown flashes but appears to have an uphill battle with Humber apparently getting back his starting gig. Humber is also not the long term answer.
Overall depth has not been terrible but let's not kid ourselves into thinking this defense is set and McD has no areas of concerns going forward.
If this season finishes strong, hopefully with playoffs, I don't see why Kyle would hang it up after this year. He can still play. Sure, he's not quite the force he once was, but he is still a very good D tackle and very serviceable in there. You need to build the D line for sure, but if he takes a pay cut for another 1-2 year contract, I don't see why he can't keep going.

This is an excellent and really well written piece.

What super hero do you think Shady will imitate in his first end zone dance?

What's wrong with a spiced honey-mead wine anyway?
Apparently it makes you a little sissy. Get with the groupthink and drink light beer, like a man.

Imagine what this team is going to be like when we get actual talented guys in here.
No offense to Hyde and others but they haven't been world beaters previous to buffalo
Not sure where this narrative got started that Hyde was not good or just average in Green Bay. He was excellent. Ask Green Bay fans. They were very sorry to see him go.

I agree. So, metaphorically the drones of corporate America are applauded for their groupthink and the fella who shows some deviation from easy consumer blandness is ostracized.
Whenever I hear dilly dilly, I think someone is identifying themselves as an idiot.

Sammy had a huge day today. Good for him. He is a great receiver and football player. Lot of clueless people out there with an axe to grind.
