  1. Yup, Veto that sh it! Veto it all to hell As a matter of fact I'd wipe my ass with the bill and send it back to speaker Johnson
  2. That sounds like a lie. So you just let a mistake stand? Ok. And how didn't you know the facts?
  3. Are you saying I didn't correct you on Battle of Midway?
  4. You got it wrong, I corrected you. Thanks for, sort of, fixing it. At least you are open to listening to those who actually know the facts
  5. But you got the battle wrong, which is strange. Saying who you are and all. I mean I read what you wrote and knew immediatly that you were wrong.
  6. Yup, Stalin, Hitler, that Korean fellow .etc
  7. Or illegal financial practices.
  8. He, nor anyone in his immediate family, has a bank account. He is in the upper 12% of earners in the country. Sounds shady https://www.thedailybeast.com/does-new-speaker-of-the-house-mike-johnson-have-a-bank-account#:~:text=Speaker Mike Johnson has never,a single asset at all.
  9. Because Tuberville shouldn't be wasting their time This is a stupid point, just idiotic It's like an arsonist saying fire damage was caused by the fire department being slow to get to the fire
  10. https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2022/01/capitol-insurrection-rosanne-boyland-how-and-why-did-she-die Shortly after Rosanne Boyland’s name was made public, the household became inundated with calls from reporters. Despite their grief and the intense pressure of the spotlight of the national press, the family pulled together. Her brother-in-law Justin, a beverage-industry sales representative, who happened to have had some past experience in TV, prepared a statement on behalf of the family that he started to read to the journalists on his in-laws’ front lawn. But then he decided to go off script: “It’s my own personal belief that the president’s words incited a riot that killed four of his biggest fans last night and I believe that we should invoke the 25th Amendment at this time.
  11. Didn't she die from a drug overdose?
  12. Ok, wrong guy, but point still stands. Remember the point? These versions of what happened decades before, were written under Roman rule, and could very well of been a "history" that passed political muster of the time. And the Empire totally helped out the christians spread their message to the people of the Empire. Do you take them as Devine knowledge or just something men wrote? And careful going too far with criticizing a mistake, Mr Navy Guy. Midway was a multi-day battle.
  13. This is absolutely disgusting bull sh it! Horrible, just stop! LONDON (Reuters) -In Los Angeles, a man screaming "kill Jews" attempts to break into a family's home. In London, girls in a playground are told they are "stinking Jews" and should stay off the slide. In China, posts likening Jews to parasites, vampires or snakes proliferate on social media, attracting thousands of "likes". These are examples of incidents of antisemitism, which have surged globally since the attack by Hamas gunmen on southern Israel on Oct. 7 and subsequent war on the Islamist group launched by Israel in the Gaza Strip. "This is the scariest time to be Jewish since World War Two. We have had problems before, but things have never been this bad in my lifetime," said Anthony Adler, 62, speaking outside a synagogue where he had gone to pray in Golders Green, a London neighbourhood with a large Jewish community. https://news.yahoo.com/open-hatred-jews-surges-globally-141737707.html Hate to quote Rodney King, but can't we all just get along? I imagne their economy will take a huge hit from this, too. All the soldiers called up, Palestianisn (20% of population) basically on lock down. Not great for productivity
  14. Oh boy, you do know--or not--that all those groups were in the Roman Empire, right? That's how early Christianity spread the word. Peter was a Roman Citizen and spread the word because he could travel through the empire. That's why authoritarian regimes love fundamentalist religion, it's either us or them, just like with the government. The Iranian government beating women to death because God wills it! All BS!
  15. Those accounts of Jesus's trial and death were not written until decades after the fact. They were written by men. They were also written by men who were Roman citizens and would have a vested interested in blaming the religious sect they were breaking away from and not the authoritarian government they were living under. If you just take the text as "god's word" then there is not arguing with it, you are a spiritualist and believe in magic. But men wrote it and had their own biases, goals and distance in time from the actual event. And who cares if some Jews killed another jew 2,000 years ago, it matters not a jot today
  16. I think it was an actual original thought by him. Rare indeed
  17. Ethnically cleansing in the West Bank Since Oct. 7, the U.N. agency said, “Israeli settler violence has increased significantly,” with 828 Palestinians displaced since then “amid settler violence or increased movement restrictions.” In the days since Hamas attacked Israel, fueling anti-Muslim and anti-Arab sentiment in Israel and beyond, OCHA said it has recorded 171 attacks by Israeli settlers, 26 of them deadly. The figure does not include incidents of “harassment, trespass and intimidation” that did not involve killings or property damage, OCHA said, though those episodes, too, “increase the pressure on Palestinians to leave.” In one incident two days after the Hamas attack, the herding community of Al Ganoub was raided by Israeli settlers, OCHA said. They threatened Palestinians at gunpoint, set living quarters ablaze and stole livestock, according to the agency, which cited local residents. On Saturday, an Israeli settler shot and killed a Palestinian man who was harvesting olives, the Associated Press reported. President Biden said last week that attacks by “extremist settlers” against Palestinians were worsening the conflict. https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2023/11/01/israel-war-hamas-news-gaza-palestine/
  18. I remember @B-Man Hoping the cop that kill Floyd got acquitted
  19. I bet a lot of people will agree with this Oh no, they will remember what other people want them to remember...or something...
  20. With Putin and Hamas so close, not sure how Trump can stay buddies with his favorite dictator. MAGA won't care, but it will hurt on the edges
  21. Even amid the terrible destruction that has transformed parts of Jenin into pits of jumbled masonry, the bullet-pocked tower of the Palestinian government headquarters stands out — not for the relatively light damage it sustained but for who caused it. Whereas homes in this West Bank city have been demolished by Israeli troops, roads have been churned up by Israeli bulldozers and storefronts have been disfigured by Israeli gunfire, the offices of the Sultah, or Palestinian Authority, were attacked by Palestinians themselves during a noisy protest over Israel's bombardment of Gaza. Disgusted with the authority's inability to protect its own people or stand up to Israel, militants in the crowd aimed their bullets at the government compound after its security forces tried to break up the demonstration. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/other/amid-israel-hamas-war-some-palestinians-rage-against-another-target-their-own-rulers/ar-AA1jcwpb
  22. To get them not to build nukes! What's your solution? War?
