    Please post observations.

Last year's pats playoff game wasn't the game I was remembering regarding the Singletary quick passes though he and Reggie G caught consecutive check downs to the top of the screen to keep a drive alive.

    Other things I noticed:

The playbook was "Josh Allen Playoff mode" - multiple called designed qb runs.

Dawkins shut down Judon, whom the announcer said had been in a lull with 4 games without a sack. The entire Oline played well and Knox was left free to run routes and catch passes. His disappearing act this season remains a mystery to me.

Barnmore was coming off an injury and Duggar had a club cast on one arm.

Hydes int remains a thing of beauty.

McKenzie had another good game. He was running end arounds and catching passes.

Basically the offense moved the ball effortlessly against the hoodies vaunted defense, using practically every skill position available. The Patriots were straight up outgunned and had no answer.

Let's hope we can recreate this magic tomorrow night.

Seems like every time I watch Josh drop back ( on TV), there's always a back open at the top of the screen. He has to learn to pull the trigger on those quickly before it's a wasted 4th read and a loss of what could have been a positive play.

I'm going to go back tonight and re-watch last year's playoff game but if memory serves me, Motor feasted on this exact observation against the pats. 5-7yrd passes in the middle of the field.

I hope you’re right.  But if he doesn’t play before then is he going to start and chase Hill/Waddle around all day? I fully support easing him back in, with “back in” being the key words.  He’s got to see the field soon in a limited capacity or there’s a good chance he either jumps into the deep end against Miami or doesn’t play many snaps of value against them.

I hear you. It's maddening to say because as fans we all want to know what the heck is going on with our all pro cb, but this realistically could be a case where McD's "taking it day by day" is the truth rather than coy coach-speak. It's a risk/reward evaluation combined with many variables that we can only speculate on. We just have to trust our coach, the trainers and tre to make the correct decisions.

That being said, if he's not back in some capacity on or around 12/18 I will officially become worried about his eligibility in the future.

    *fingers crossed*

Edit - aaaaaaand as I was typing this the news hits. Tre is active! Progress!

The vomit emoji was created for that thought.

Not ideal?  It leaves us in a worse position than we are now and in salary cap hell.

It's the gamble every potential trade partner will weigh. There's no disagreement that I would rather keep motor and unload Moss in this scenario if looking through the lense of 2022 sb or bust. However, next year that would leave us with an injury prone cmc and whomever we could scrounge up (that still admittedly might be better than moss) to go with Cook.

    I dunno.

Trading Singletarry for CMC doesn't make a lot of sense, why would Carolina trade for RB who'd be FA in a year, and why would we trade the RB that works in our offense the best currently.

I don't know what Carolina would have to gain from taking Motor, but in the hypothetical situation where we get cmc we can't have both him and Singletary next season.

Moss can operate as a starting back with Cook sprinkled in if cmc goes down.

I know Devin has some fumble issues....but he's pretty solid and extremely liked by his teammates.  I don't see how downgrading your RB2 helps the team.  Sign me up for

    CMC

    Singletary

    Cook

This would be the epitome of going "all in" this season and give us the most talented rb combo imo. If it's a trade/restructure deal for cmc that includes multiple years, keeping moss for the short term might be a smart strategy given cmc's injury woes.
