    No excuses for Ken Dorsey this year

They even brought Cole back at the end. Dorsey also had a complete disaster at LG and an inexperienced RT with no off-season. And finally, he did not have a running back with any size (other than 17).

     

    But set all that aside. You can bet Dorsey had a big say in the roster changes. And it looks like he's going have a real 12-personnel offense.

    Kincade has deservedly gotten the hype but I'm pretty interested to see what kind of a role Knox plays this season. 

     

    There's so much diversity at the skill positions it shouldn't be a chore to achieve and exploit favorable matchups. I wonder if the perceived disregard for the Tackle position is contingent on utilizing knox more on the line to help block/leak out as a pass catcher now that Kincaid has landed?

     

    The recipe of doubling diggs and putting cb1 on gabe to wreck our passing game needs to be handily dealt with by KD this year, assuming his horses can stay healthy.

    Observe the masterful way Kyle Allen stared down Sherfield (16) and threw to him even though he was covered, before anyone else had a chance to complete their route and even Cook, his checkdown, did not have a chance to leak out and get open.  Admire the precision of his targeting,which throws where the DB has a better chance on the ball, instead of where Sherfield would have to come back for it and have a chance for a DH or DPI penalty if not a completion.

    Returns and slot work. Roasted Siran Neal in a vertical route, which is to be somewhat expected. The other note that caught my eye was that it was again pointed out that he's getting separation but the balls aren't arriving on time and thus backs recover and make plays. It was originally brought up in an interesting cardinals blog type article posted in the Isabella thread.

    Lol I thought the "name one time" post was a little bold considering its been only a few weeks since he evidently told Diggs to go home then chucked him right under the bus when people asked about the obvious.

    I believe the offense will be better as well. I think its going to be a "Wr2 by committee" unless/until 1 or more of the following. 

     

    Gabe makes a contract year leap. 

     

    deonte harty remains healthy and we reopen the John Brown playbook. 

     

    They Shift to 12 Personnel formations. Kincaid and Knox Terrorize the League as interchangeable 1b target options. 

     

    Dhop sees the light and signs on.

    Lots of really good points brought up in here to be celebrated. State of the art training facility, electrifying qb#1, HoF tier veteran leadership and the most loyal fans in the league. It's a good time to be us.

     

    Now we just have one last dragon to slay.
