They've been that way since they beat KC. Requiring turnovers on 4 straight possessions to beat the Bucs and almost blowing a 22 point lead to the Pats did nothing to shake that confidence.

I was thinking about this as well with regard to "the bills haven't beat an elite team since kc" statements. TB had the game in hand and then imploded, and from what I've seen the turnovers had more to do with TB12's dead arm and inability to move his legs than some spectacular Defense.

Are the Thanksgiving Day Lions a better team than anyone the Bengals have semi-recently beat (excluding kc)?

You know Brady is washed up when Collinsworth hasn't been washing him all night. His new crush is JJ Watt.

I shut it off when collinsworth implied that Brady needed to be "unleashed".

  3. I agree. Even in the examples listed where running backs routinely do damage catching balls, Brady and Herbert still usually have Godwin and Keenan Allen in the slot running routes or blocking at the same time the rb is receiving.

The CMC types who can line up in the slot and win routes consistently are a whole different breed imo.

  4. This is a great proactive move. If he's got nothing left he stays on the practice squad and we "lose" nothing.

I think there was something about the timing routes and work over the middle for high completion attempts that got Josh in rythm and sparked the offense.

If he's 75% of what he was in his last year this was still worth a shot imo

apparently his philosophy vs the jets was to target their strongest defenders and wanted nothing to do with exploiting the weaknesses…. COOL.

I don't have the stats to back it up but this feels to be the biggest issue all year. McKenzie can't operate over the middle and catch passes in traffic against zone. His success against man is due to his speed, he pulls away to get open on crossers. We are missing a Beasley/Crowder type who get open in zone and bring in the ball when it's fired to them in the middle of the field.

    Hopefully Crowder can return.

  6. OBJ is trying to get his best deal. If Poyer was right and he's back in Buffalo, it's to say "here's what Dallas offered, can you beat it?"

He'll probably go back to Giantland, if he's even remotely interested in playing there and have the same talk.

Jerry making chess moves to sow doubt to impact other teams offers and lower the amount he will likely end up paying.

That's how I see it anyway.
