  1. McDermott would be making this call. Don’t forget he made a comment in his presser that he wished you could mash the corners together in terms of traits to make a perfect prospect. Basically they all have some flaw. If he picks him, he thinks he has traits he wants and areas he can develop. His mock says “I do my best to connect the dots off things I’ve been able to gather” and he says he finished top 15 in his mock last year. No one knows what will happen but I’m guessing he believes something for a reason.
  2. Maybe they want a different type of DB to complement the others? Just a thought. all I know is, if they take him, McDermott has watched hundreds of hours of film on him and wants him on his defense, believing he is a significant upgrade to what he has behind Tre.
  3. This guy says the Bills are secretly in love with Elam He tweeted this yesterday:
  4. They met with Zach Moss via zoom as well and had a visit with vosean Joseph. Regardless, it’s most meaningful for 1st round because you don’t know who will even be available past that, to align with the small sample size of visits that you can actually draft. zoom meetings were not the same meaning or investment as visits where you can do individual workouts and team medical checks. Beane only had 3 1st round picks he could make so far where visits were allowed and they all visited - Allen, Edmunds, Oliver.
  5. Why sign one now when there will be more vets likely available after the draft
  6. Nah, this is from back in early January. Pretty clear that Saleh is the one wants him gone. GM probably wants to try to salvage his draft pick. https://sportsnaut.com/new-york-jets-mekhi-becton-future/amp/
  7. Browns are on the clock
  8. He did fly in with his wife for the frigid playoff game vs the cheats
  9. I just talked to Beane and he says if we can get this thread to 100 pages by Thursday, he’ll draft a corner
  10. N/A. I’m not invested enough in the scouting and research to know who they shouldn’t take. There aren’t any players I truly dislike enough to be upset if he became a Bill. I learned my lesson with the Allen pick after not really watching him play and falling for every media and fan narrative out there because I didn’t have my own info. In Beane and his staff, I trust. It’s been a very long time since I felt like this on draft day. The only “need” they have imo is CB but even then I think it could be addressed with a vet after the draft and/or a later pick. It makes the draft less dramatic for me but also less stressful.
  11. They can extend him before this season and likely will. This is the same timeline Beane has used with Tre and Allen. Pick up option, then extend. Edmunds may not be similar to those because his market *could* outweigh his value to Bills and his agent may know that.
  12. He was just on OBL as well
  13. He probably hopes that they do - but every player who interviews with a team comes away thinking that team wants them, especially the early rounders - only thing is they only get to pick one guy at each spot
  14. It’s definitely draft fatigue hitting. But most bills fans seem to want this RB and a lot don’t want a corner so not sure. Draft week is just heavy smokescreen time so anything getting to the media is getting there in calculated fashion. Who has espn+ and can tell me what Matt Miller predicted for Bills?
  15. Linderbaum’s arms are historically short for an OL
