  1. This cougar had probably tried to to cross the road lawfully many times and experienced the arrogance of the spandex mafia.  I wouldn’t be surprised if he finally got fed up and snapped.  It’s happened to many drivers.

Good on the women for fighting back though.  Most spandex mafiosos would have stopped, got on their mobile phone, posted something to Instagram about how the cougar was in the wrong by expecting them to actually follow the rules of the road, watch their friend get dragged into the woods, then pedal away in their yellow outfits.

The way I understand it, you get big bucks for being really good.  If "class act" was enough to get big bucks I'd be a wealthy man.

Wonder if he would be someone they would take at 28 or maybe trade back and try and land if they come away impressed after his workout.

I hate reporting nowadays.  Ok so he thought Franklin had a good combine.  Cool, that’s his opinion.  Just say it then.  Franklin was “sick at the combine” seems like hyperbole and a scream for attention.  If you’re going to be a moron at least explain what the guy did that was so “sick”.

I fell bad (I really don’t) for Yankees fans who actually believe Cole will pitch effectively this season.

I remember feeling optimistic every time deGrom had “discomfort.”

They carefully worded their assessment.  They technically NEVER said his UCL wasn’t torn.  They said it was “intact” which would be misleading but true if he had a partial tear.  It’s not good.  He’s probably the most important player on their team given the high upside but unreliable garbage they will have on the mound other than him.  Sure maybe Stroman, Rodon, Nestor etc all work out but odds are that two will crap the bed.  I hate seeing such a great pitcher injured.

Kyle Bradish of the O’s has had nothing but positive reports and he’s already throwing off a mound, but even so I don’t think they can realistically count on him.  Cole’s reports seem far worse.  The elbow stuff rarely works out otherwise.  There are a few but…..McClanahan, Baz, Spings, Rasmussen, Painter, Dustin May, Mize, Alcantra, Dustin May again, looks like Urquidy today and about 37 guys I forgot.

It’s St. Patty’s day and the Yankees are borderline toast. ELL oh ELL

Man, the Bears front office is so reminiscent of the Bills drought braintrust.   @PromoTheRobot would be like a pig in sh!t shouting down rightfully angry fans and defending that clown show. 😂

Lol from the guy who constantly sings the praises of the Yankees.

What transaction from the drought IYHO is comparable to this?

I feel like, maybe hope.. that when Diggs is gone, Josh Allen truly becomes that type of leader and I have a feeling that when Diggs is no longer here.. Kincaid becomes an absolute superstar.

How exactly is Diggs preventing Allen from becoming a leader?  True leaders find a way.  I don’t think of Allen as a follower by any means, he is somewhat of a leader, but if he was ever going to be a true full time alpha leader, he would be one already.  Blaming Diggs for Allen being a goofy Golden Retriever type of a personality is misplaced.

BTW I have no qualms having Allen at QB at all.  And I don’t think he should artificially try to change his personality.  We can win with his personality and he should just be himself.  I don’t have any problem with Diggs personality either.  If I were to get out a magnifying glass and look for something I might worry a little about it might be Diggs expecting everyone to have a style just like his.

When I scan the league’s QBs, who do I see as a “leader” that meets what I perceive……perhaps erroneously….to be your criteria?  A Jim Kelly type?

I don’t see many.  It’s a different generation.  Even Mahomes is just a maybe for me as is Burrow.  Mayfield kind of has that vibe but isn’t good enough to back it up.  Stafford?  To a degree.

Maybe some of the younger guys are like that and feeling their way, Stroud, Love etc.  I don’t know much about the rookies but mommy crying Williams ain’t it that’s for sure.

This is my exact fear upon hearing about the Curtis Samuel signing.

The team has an aging/declining Stefon Diggs and several slot guys.

The Bills are not going to moneyball their way to a Lombardi.  The WR room is decent right now.  Why stop?  Lean into it and put this thing over-the-top.

I’m not sure you pay close attention to the outskirts of the roster.  We have KJ Hamilton who never really got a fair shot in Denver.

Great suggestion!  It was a smart move to pass on Mahomes and draft a cornerback. We also should not have drafted Josh Allen if there was a good safety available. Actually I'm kinda surprised this didn't happen.

I sure do pine for the Levy/Jauron days. With McDermott, there is perhaps some chance that he won't take a first round safety. :( Is Jauron still available? 👍

Someone posted a chart showing top draft resources dedicated by position across the NFL in recent years.  I think it was 5 years.  Guess which team dedicated the LEAST in the NFL to DBs?    But by all means keep up the narrative.

This is just ridiculous.  This guy is his last 3 healthy seasons puts up about 70 catches a season with Washington’s and Carolina’s QB’s….but he will drop off of a table when he gets Allen at QB?  Allen is going to make him worse?

He had a lot of nagging injuries last year but played through them and still caught 17 more balls than Gabe.

I take it you don't like the signing?

I’m fine with it but wouldn’t be shocked it it turns out to be Crowder part two.

  11. People complain about Diggs being a diva…..and declining…..or something…….then pine for Rondale Moore.  Ok.

So one of those WRs will be off the board at 4.  It was a fairly foregone conclusion anyway but thats brutal.  I think brown is still a possibility to return there too.

Agree but people mocking Michael Wilson will find out soon enough.

    he’s better than both players

Does it make sense to acquire the Niners franchise playoff sack leader?  How about a player that actually sacked Mahomes? We can’t even pressure the guy

How about a 4 time team captain and 4 time Walter Payton Man of the Year Nominee?

    Good Lord people. WAKE UP.

When a player of this calibur has interest in playing for your team, you try to sign him

Ah, so some Cincy fans are just as delusional as some Bills fans. Good to know.

People acting like since they couldn't re-sign Cousins, Minnesota's going into full on sell mode.

They were always aware of this possibility. They placed a price on Cousins and were fine with going to the Draft for his replacement if it went out of their range.

They aren't sitting their like "sh-t couldn't get Cousins, well time to trade the best young WR in the NFL". There's no legitimate reports of a Jefferson trade being a real thing. Just fans running away with their "wouldn't it be cool?" thoughts and wishing for something that isn't there.

They have to re-up Chase soon. Higgins is one thing. But in no scenario can you carry Burrow, Jefferson, and Chase on the same billing book.

The shiny object brigade knows no borders.

I just found this latest Cap # according to overthecap.com the Bills have close to $12 million for their 2024 drafted rookie contracts.  I did not know we had that much set aside this year.  So at least that number is promising.  Some teams don't even have $10 mil set aside, there were 11 teams under $10mil, some teams with all their draft picks like Philly and the 49ers have with all their comp picks only have $12 mil or less.  So much for having all those picks.  A lot of them are going to be traded away.  Kind of Funny the Browns don't even have $5 mil set aside for rookie contracts.

If the Bills pick eleven free safeties like that thing predicts, this board is going to be absolute bedlam.

Irrelevant to the topic (or much of anything else, as he admitted), party trick for geeks kinda math, but it is indeed math. No denying that.

It’s not irrelevant at all.  Sometimes even when math doesn’t technically prove something by the strict definition of “proof”, it leaves such minuscule doubt as to the actual truth that the practicality of the matter is proven in all but the most technical sense.  The guy/geek explains this in simple terms starting at 25:22.  His explanation parallels the possibility of aliens existing.

Mother of girl injured in Britt Reid crash shocked by commutation

    https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/39708520/mother-girl-injured-britt-reid-crash-shocked-commutation

This is gut wrenching… and I’m sure the pardon has nothing do with Parsons fandom… imagine trying to defend this

”Jackson County prosecutor Jean Peters Baker told ESPN last week she would have never agreed to a plea deal if she knew Reid would serve only 1½ years.

Parson, a self-proclaimed Chiefs fan, attended the Super Bowl in Las Vegas last month where the Chiefs won their third Super Bowl in four years. He received a tattoo to commemorate their win in 2023.”

The part of the article where the mom wonders aloud what would have happened to her if she was drunk, ran into Reid’s car and injured Reid’s kid, is particularly thought provoking.  I think the answer is obvious.

And the DA can say all she wants about not accepting the plea agreement if she knew it would be commuted.  3 years, even if fully served, was never enough for this dirt bag.
