    IIRC. The CBO projected in 1967 that Medicare would cost 12 Billion by 1990. In 1990 medicare was about 180 billion. Three cheers for the CBO, they're so smart.

    They were in such a rush to pass this POS, saying that people were dying, thousands of them every day. So why does this POS not fully kick in for 4 years??     I can relate. I was hooked on Vicodin/Hydrocodon (sic) for about 5 years after two ACL surgeries. I also was up to about 8 a day. Weaning off them was brutal, really brutal, but I did it. Hell just thinking about it, thats about ten years ago now. Good luck and stick to your plan.
