U.S. pressure on NK? We basically gave them the technology. What we didn't give them, they used our bribe money to purchase it from Russia, China and Pakistan. All the while, we turned our backs to it because it was too difficult to get a long term solution. It would have hurt poll numbers.

It is all in the connections. It was simple and straight forward. Just a few pages of questions regarding the living will. Otherwise, the will and power of attorney were very simple. Hell, he even felt guilty for charging me so much. Shocking, coming from a lawyer.

If the Bills are having financial trouble now, how is having less games going to make them more financially viable?

It cost me $200 to get a will, power of attorney and living will. Seems like a no brainer. Get the lawyer. Make sure it is done right.

You need to be a politician to make it that far up the food chain. Rummy wants to streamline the DoD. That means that you need to upset the status quo. This is going to piss people off. Generals are criticizing Rummy. Others are supporting him. In the end, as the monkey said, it is all partisan bull sh--.

IIRC, Miller is more corn and Bud is more rice. Not sure about which way Coors leans, but it is one of the two. Rolling Rock may have some rice and corn, but I am guessing more pale malts (barley), because of the color. -

Actually, all of the ingredients you listed can be found in different styles of beer. Wheat, rye, corn, maize, barley, rice, oats, etc. It depends on the style of beer as to which combination of these ingredients you use. My Poor Richard's Ale, for example, uses malted barley and flaked maize. "Beers" like Bud and Coors use corn and rice. BiB is correct. Bourbon starts off like beer. You mash the grains and ferment the wort into a simple beer. You then distill it to get your bourbon. -

You can find a lot of them (at least the imports) at Premier on Delaware Ave. The microbrews may be more difficult. -

They may have intentionally done that. Only the brewers could answer that question. The length of the boil does not determine IBU's. Only the addition of hops and when they are added determines the IBU's. -
You don't drink beer, remember?

Sounds like a fun game.

...and they will toss IPA/IIPA in the afternoon session, as well. They know the judges are pretty much useless after that category, so they do not want to burn them out early. -

NC pretty much addressed it. It depends on the style. IPA/IIPA will kill your palate pretty quickly, especially if there is not enough malt to balance the hops. At competitions, you have water and crackers to help cleanse the palate, but you will experience "palate fatigue" on the higher-hopped beers. APA's, you can do more of before you reach fatigue. Specialty beers can kill you, because the style guidelines are pretty much tossed out the window. You give a basic style that you used as a base, but it can morph into something unrecognizable. The last homebrew competition I was at, I was working Stouts (morning session) and Ambers (afternoon session). The Stouts had 13 entries and the Ambers had 9. You have a small plastic cup with about 3 ounces in it. You sample that amount for each and sometimes need second samples in order to properly judge the beer. You then have the lunch break and can sample anything that is left. -
Trust me. I am no fan of Bush. Hell, I ran a presidential campaign to get him out of office. The spending by the Republicans in control of Congress right now is appalling and the President does not have the guts to veto anything. The Medicare "Reform" was a joke. He gave up on the Social Security debate. He had the Dems where he wanted them (forcing them to solve the problem, instead of letting them keep status quo in order to have election issues), but let them off the hook. I give the President a pass on No Child Left Behind. When he first got into office, he sent out an olive branch to the Dems. He called in Teddy Kennedy, knowing that education is one of Teddy's main concerns. He said that if Kennedy wrote the bill and got it through Congress, he would sign it. That is exactly what happened. THe fact that Congress refused to fund the plan that they created is not the fault of the President. He does not control funding. I also like the way he is handling the North Korea situation. He is playing it pretty much the way you need to play it. Condi caused a few setbacks, but Bush was able to overcome them.

Sorry, but you will not be able to get Kryptonite anymore. They had it on tap and cask. It is now gone. Let's hope that they decide to brew another batch. As far as Hop Whallop's balance, I agree with you. Hop Devil has the same problem, but it is not as noticable since it is only about 65 IBU's. That is why I like Kryptonite. It has a huge malt backbone to support the 129 IBU's.. -

I just scored a case of Hop Whallop. There was only one batch of this made back in November and they quickly ran out. Well, I got some inside info that they had a few cases left and I was able to snag one of them. Nice. I need to get down to DFH one of these days. I want to try the 90 and 120 minute brews. My favorite is without doubt, Iron Hill's Kryptonite. 129 IBU's and 9% abv. In talking to the brewmaster, he said he uses "all the C's" for bittering, with Cascade and Amarillo to dry hop. Unbelievable!!! No question, my favorite IPA/DIPA. -
Works for me. I am on an English Ale kick with homebrewing. I figured you would appreciate that. Trying to give my beer an "English" feel by using English hops, grains and yeasts.

If you are a light beer drinker, then I would stay away from the IPA's and Double IPA's. Too much of a leap. International: -Chimay Grande Reserve (Trappist Ale) -Hoeggarden (Belgian Wit) -Rochefort 10 (Trappist Ale) -Chimay Cinq Cents (Belgian Tripel) Domestic: -Most stuff from Victory brewing is good. -I have heard favorable reviews about Southern Tier stuff, mainly their Unearthly (double IPA), but I think their other stuff is not bad. Personally, I have not tried any of it so I cannot personally review for you. -
Well, then, it is a good thing I am here. Depressed over no Genny Cream Ale? Use this as an opportunity to sample truly good American brews (I'd go international, but I know it would be falling on deaf ears). So, what American brews to try, you ask? Good question. How about stuff from: Victory Brewing (Downingtown, PA): I am not sure if they get to TX, but worth it if it does. Try Hop Devil, Old Horizontal, St. Boisterous or V-Saison. Dog Fish Head (Delaware) has a 90 Minute IPA and a 120-Minute IPA. Try them. Stone Brewery (San Diego, CA): Arrogant Bastard, Double Bastard or Ruination. IPA's and double IPA's. This should be a good start.
