  1. Information wars have been going forever, but the dizzying consolidation of digital information and the ability to shape and manipulate that in a nanosecond is something we're really just starting to grapple with in society.  It's kinda sad to have to tell your kids "you need to begin with the assumption that everything you see online is a lie", but that's where we are now.

  2. As others have point out, there was no fire last night, no leadership, and several players looked off (mostly notably Josh).

But give credit to the Titans....that defense is much better than early season rankings would have you believe, and they came up with a plan to keep the Bills WRs in check.  I'm not sure why, because the pass protection was fairly good, but the Bills didn't even attempt anything deep, or any of those medium distance crossing patterns they've killed teams with this year.  So that tells me the Titans created a great plan to slow down what the Bills have done successfully so far this year.  And other teams will copy that.  So the Bills better figure out how to adjust.

I'll be very interested to see one of the film analysts here break down the All-22 tape.

  3. Wow…what a cluster*****.

You know, I figured they’d have a game where they came out flat, the bounces when the other way and they lost.  But the longer this game went on, the more disgusting it became because of the way it went bad.

    The worst of the worst:

The pre-snap penalties – what in the hell was happening with that?  And at the worst times;  taking points off the scoreboard, extending Titan drives that were about to end.  Zero discipline.

Coverage on the first punt – that was all on the coverage team….looked like a HS team all running to the middle of the field.  That cost them points.

3d and 20….quick pass right up the middle as the safties both retreated to 30 yards downfield.  Didn’t we figure that one out in the playoff game last year?   That cost them points.

Roughing the passer….that cost 4 points turning an FG into a TD

Jerry Hughes and whoever else had contain responsibility on the right side of the offense.  Tannehill looked like Lamar Jackson out there….just embarrassing.

    The just generally bad:

    The pass rush was non-existent.

The drops.  Diggs had a bunch of catches but wasn’t his finest performance.

Josh was inaccurate all night.  Sure he hit a bunch of five yard passes to Beasley and Diggs, and the TD to Yeldon was a good throw but he was lucky to only have two picks.  Stop reading your press clippings and get back to work Josh.

Roberts stunk.  Bad returns, fumble, partially at fault for first INT.

    The not horrible:

OL provided good protection all night

RBs were ok when they needed to be

Josh squeaked out just enough fantasy points to get me a win.

I didn’t expect a packed highlight film every week, but there wasn’t one tonight, in any phase of the game.  Not one.

A bit revisionist I think. Plenty of people wanted Fitz out of Buffalo and were not shy about voicing their conviction that the Bills were wasting his time with him as their QB. That having been said, Tyrod is an introvert and so he was just never able to connect with fans who respected his play.

This.  Anyone who has the impression that Fitz was beloved while playing for the Bills is not remembering history accurately.

That's the thing. The media can say what they want, but actual ballots coming in are showing Democrats and Republicans aren't. I mean it's not a huge surprise, the polls showed Dems would early vote more than Republicans, but not by the margins:

Americans are voting early in the 2020 general election at an unprecedented pace, with elections officials having already received more than 9 million ballots in the 30 states that have made data available, and that data indicates that registered Democrats have returned more than twice as many ballots than Republicans thus far

    https://thehill.com/homenews/state-watch/520306-democrats-surge-past-republicans-in-early-voting

In Florida, registered Democrats had out-voted registered Republicans by a slim 37 percent to 35 percent margin by this point in 2016. Today, almost 53 percent of votes cast in Florida have come from registered Democrats, while Republicans account for just 28 percent

In North Carolina, registered Democrats have cast 52 percent of all ballots so far, up from 36 percent four years ago. Registered Republicans account for just 17 percent of the ballots, down from 37 percent in 2016.

And in Pennsylvania, a state at the heart of Trump's reelection strategy, registered Democrats have cast more than three-quarters of all ballots. Republicans made up just 15 percent of ballots returned to date.

I guess we'll see if that means there are more Dem voters in total.  It seems like mailing in your ballot is the cool, "Resist", TDS thing to do this year for all the leftist sheep (at least where I live).

I have no idea what's going to happen, have had this election a 50/50 toss-up for many weeks and don't see that changing.  The only thing that is for certain is, we're being lied to by the media, day and night.

Florida State scores 17 on Notre Dame in the FIRST quarter.

Once ND stopped fumbling the ball away on their own 20 yard line, that game was pretty one-sided.   The last time ND dominated a team on the ground like that was the Cheerios Bowl.

Agreed.  The game is getting unrecognizable.   I wish Kelly, Marino, Montana and a Young could play with today’s rules.  Tom Brady may be the GOAT, but if he was subjected to the pounding Kelly took, he would not be playing in all those Superbowls and into his 40s.

That’s why Brady’s NOT the ‘GOAT’.  He wouldn’t have lasted ten years playing in Kelly’s era.
